Freedom Dance

Moonlight dances with the wind, both silent, cold, and pure. The scent on the air is of nothing, the clean smell of the wind itself. I like it best this way, unadulterated, pristine.

The smell of the wind is the smell of tragedy, of Naraku's cruelty, of unforgiving fate.

There is a small gleam in the moonlight as it catches on the wind. A simple white feather tumbles gracefully through the air, joining the dance, being taken wherever the wind will carry it. I reach into the moonlight. It settles softly on my hand for a moment before the wind lifts it away again, and my hand falls as I watch it fly. My eyes follow it as it soars into the moonlight, free of pain and of the chains of this life.

She is here, when she wants to be... She can be wherever she desires, go wherever she wants, finally.

She is free.
