Sesshomaru pinched the bridge between his nose and let out a loud sigh, 'that half-breed will be the end of me' he regarded to himself. he was not happy, he never was, here he was sesshomaru the most powerful demon of his time and he was forced to ammend things between his idiot brother and his wench and have them live here for two months now.

she was a fiery one that kagome, ever since she had made that stupid wish upon the shikon no tama he could just not get rid of her. she just had to marry his idiot of a brother and now they were living in his home for inuyasha did not want to leave until his mate arrived. That was the only reason he kept them here, because if it were not for inuyasha's wench his mate would not be here.

"Tochi! i have requested for those files for an hour now i suggest they be here in 20 minutes, i am not one to be patient woman!" sesshomaru yelled, damn his assistant and her persistent on going conversations with inuyasha's wench.

He stood and walked to his window thinking of the past few years before everything became hectic, he was stoic and calm but at this time and age he could care less if he let out an outburst every once and a while.

'this place truly is a mad house, it will never cease to amaze me that i have kept up with these fools for so long' he thought.
throwing a lone strand of hair behind his ear he really considered burning everything to the ground and letting everyone in it turn to ash.

he quickly shook his head knowing full well that he would not dare such a feat with so many humans near by. he was not in the feudal era no longer, such acts would not be tolerated.

"umm, sesshomaru-sama? here are the reports, im very sorry they are late but inuyasha was reading over them and -"

"silence tochi, inuyasha does not have such a brain capacity to fully understand these reports. I will advise you that the next time i request a file that it be here before it even grazes that half-breeds presence" sesshomaru glared at the small woman.

"of...of course sesshomaru-sama i apologize, will you be needing anything else sir?" she inquired.she slowly walked up to her boss and noticed him tense and sigh.

she quirked an eyebrow and wondered why he was so stressed it was so un becoming of him. she had known him for many years but she had never seen him so thoughtful before. she nodded when he said he had nothing else in mind and turned to face the window once more. she slowly stepped out and closed the door behind her.

sesshomaru had sensed tochi staring at him and he knew that he in fact was slowly losing his mind. a mere woman had made all of his life such a complete mess, ' damn her, i have waited for two months, two long months and she is still taking her sweet time to get here'.

Sesshomaru was very unhappy, he hated the smells here, that was the one reason why his home was nicely nestled between a forest in the upper most part of the city. he truly detested all of the awful smells that emanated out of the cit

He was powerful and rich and he owned one of the most prestigious companies here in japan and some in the Americas, but living with two morons really gave him a disadvantage in the ways of a stress free life.

they had foul language and you could not get rid of them even if you wanted to, the only reason he kept them around was because inuyasha and kagome were waiting on his mate to come home before they had to leave to the U.S.

he silently growled in satisfaction knowing he was moments away from being close to his mate once more, he truly could not wait for her to arrive and kiss him with all of the pent up emotions of being apart for so long.

Car after car passed by, an hour and then two and yet no sign of his mate. 'what is taking so long!?' he asked himself. walking towards the door he asked tochi for a glass of water and some advil for he might really need it if it took this long for her to arrive.

"so their i was tochi in all of my naked glory and he didnt even bat an eyelash! Can you believe it, i mean i know im with inuyasha and everything but sesshomaru is still a male ya know?" kagome gushed to her new friend.

Tochi sighed " Kagome, you must understand that even if he did see you naked as you so well put it, this is sesshomaru you are talking about he is very dedicated to his mate for kami's sake! You might expect a male of this time to look you over but sesshomaru is bound to his mate, he will not look at any other female in such way".

"Damn straight he better not be looking at anyone else but me.... his mate" the woman said with a smirk walking up to the two females who were now gawking at the new 'intruder' of their conversation.

"sango!" they both said in unison.

kagome instantly went to her side and gave her a huge hug "oh my god how i have missed you" she playfully slapped her best friend in the arm " you could have warned us you know" she blushed lightly.

"yea i know but what fun would that be?" sango laughed and gave a curt nod to tochi. "i see you are fairing quite well tochi i am glad"

"thank you sango-sama i see your trip went well, how was washington?" tochi replied with a smile, fidgeting at the woman's stare. She truly took after sesshomaru at times, they were after all mates.

"hmm...it was interesting tochi,..... i loved the weather though does that account for anything?" sango merrily laughed but quickly her laughter subsided as inuyasha came barreling out of the blue and hurled her into the air.

"Inuyasha! gahhhh! youre suffocating me baka!" she huffed.

"keh! you deserve it for taking so long, and 'sides....i missed you" the hanyou blushed.

she smiled knowingly for she had missed him and kagome as well. they had been friends for years and if it werent for him and kagome she wouldnt be here. of course she couldnt forget the one reason she was here, sesshomaru.

oh how she had missed her mate, the united states was different to anything she had ever experienced but she was the only one sesshomaru trusted in going to unite a few companies with his own. Inuyasha was to leave when sango arrived and take over the business with kagome in Washington.

"inuyasha, i suggest you put my wife down before you loose an arm" sesshomaru growled, stepping out his office he regarded the hanyou with a glare before turning his eyes on his wife then back to the half-breed.

"grrr shut up sesshomaru! i was just saying hi to sango no need for ya to get all worked up ya know" inuyasha huffed while placing sango lightly on her feet.

"Now now inuyasha be nice" kagome scolded her husband "sesshomaru is going through alot right now dont be mean" she scowled lightly tugging on inuyasha's ear

His ear twitched and flattened at kagomes tone but still "feh'd" at sesshomaru before sitting on a chair nearby and sulking.

Sesshomaru smirked, thanks to kagome he had won this battle yet again. He would not tell that to kagome that woman had a tendency for death hugs and he hated to be touched by anyone other than his mate, his wife.

He slowly turned his gaze to his mate and gave one of his rare smiles before allowing her to come to his arms and burying her head in the crook of his neck "sesshomaru i have missed you so much!" she sighed and kissed his neck lovingly. He returned the favor by bending his face down to give her a soft kiss upon her lips before scowling at the onlookers.

"its called privacy, i suggest you fools learn the meaning of it or die a quick and painful death" sesshomaru hissed. He was in no mood for an audience today, his mate had arrived and all he wanted was to have some privacy.

sango laughed merrily, she was just so glad she was home. Sesshomaru on the other hand quirked an eyebrow at her behaviour. that woman of his was something else.

Inuyasha feh'd while Kagome blushed lightly and apologized to sesshomaru. in the meanwhile tochi had bowed to everyone excusing herself for the day while assuring sesshomaru that she would be here early in the morning to take his calls and cancel meetings for the day, with that tochi said her goodbyes to kagome and her mate and fared them a good trip before heading to the elevator and descending.

"inuyasha i think it is time for us to be leaving as well" kagome said, she didnt want to leave of course her friend had just arrived but they had pressing matters to attend to in washington.

"feh, i havent done a thing and you already kickin us out sesshomaru what the hell?" inuyasha gruffed, glaring at his older brother.

Sesshomaru merely looked down at the hanyou and scowled, "i have no business with you anymore, youre business is to be in Washington to overlook the business half-breed or did you forget?"

Inuyasha slowly turned his head to hide his flushed face before glaring at sesshomaru and stomping his way to kagome "Common kagome lets go before i kill him" he scowled.

Sesshomaru glared ready to kill the half-breed at that very moment but stopped his actions when sango glared up at him and shaking her head. "sesshomaru not now, let kagome and inuyasha leave so they can care for your business or would you rather i go?" she scowled.

Sango was getting mad, inuyasha and his mouth! and ughh sesshomaru and HIS!. She sighed when she saw sesshomaru tense before looking at her. "i will not leave, but be nice for now. we dont know when we will be able to see them again sesshomaru and you know i will miss kagome dearly" sango added while hugging her best friend.

"i will miss you kagome, make sure to call when you guys arrive safely okay?".

"of course sango! that will be the first thing i will do before anything else" kagome assured her best friend.

"Have a safe trip and dont do anything idiotic" sesshomaru added.

"Grrr...im not that idiotic you stuck up son of a-"

"inuyasha!"

"feh! fine sorry we will dont ya worry" inuyasha said, he went to sango gave her a brief hug before nodding to sesshomaru and heading to the elevator kagome in tow.

"be careful you two" kagome winked.

Waving goodbye sango watched as her best friends entered the elevator and dissapeared. 'I will miss them greatly, who am i going to talk about girl problems to now' sango thought with that thought crossing her mind she turned to her mate.

"sesshomaru why are you looking at me like that?" sango nervously asked. he heart was racing a mile a minute, sesshomaru was looking at her with this predatory gleam in his eye and she was suddenly turning red from head to toe.

"with what look love?" sesshomaru smirked before descending on his wife's supple lips. He groaned deepening the kiss further by biting on her lower lip before claiming her mouth completely.

She was in heaven, her body was on fire and his mouth was so greedy against hers she couldnt stop the moan that escaped her lips before wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling her body flush against his.

She gulped nervously knowing she was in deep trouble tonight, that thought aroused her knowing she was going to be with him after so long.
