Chapter One: Moving on
Kagome sighed lightly as she backed last of her things for the ‘big’ move, ‘ha….. Big move…. What an understatement,’ she snorted to herself lightly. After her adventures in the past were done, the gods had told she was still needed; however, this time in America. Thankfully, for Kagome, Mia lives in America and offered for Kagome to stay with her New Orleans. She had met Mia in the Feudal Era Japan, a year before she’d defeated Naraku. Mia had informed Kagome that she (Mia) had awoken in the Feudal Era, after nearly being run over by a school bus. Since then Mia and Kagome had been ‘thick as thieves’, even after Naraku was destroyed along with the Shikon-no-toma.
“Kagome,” Mrs. H. called for her daughter from the stairs, “The taxi is here!”
“Coming,” Kagome replied grabbing some of her things.
“Here, sis, I’ll help you.” Sota walked into her soon-to-be old room and grabbed the rest of her bags.
“Sota…. This isn’t your fault….. I’m still needed to fight evil.” Kagome stated knowingly, a trait she’d picked up for Mia.
“I know, sis….. Sometimes I feel that you and Mia have done enough to protect all of us.” Sota smiled sadly at his big sister, “Promise to call every day.”
“I will….” Kagome smiled lightly as she headed down stairs to the car, her little brother fallowing her to the taxi.
Mrs. H smiled sadly at her oldest and only daughter, “I’m going to miss you sweetie,” kissing Kagome on top of her head and continuing, “my little Warrior, you be careful. And tell Mia I said for her to be careful too.”
“Yes, Mama, I’m going to miss you and Sota too.” Kagome smiled at her mother as Sota put Kagome’s bags into the taxi’s trunk and closed the door.
After giving her mother and brother hugs, Kagome climbed into the taxi. Before Kagome could close the car door, her mother stopped her and handed her a credit card.
“Use this in case of emergencies. Be safe, Kagome.” Mr. H smiled and closed the door, after telling the driver to take Kagome to Tokyo Airport.
With a sudden pull the taxi drove away to the airport, taking the time traveling Miko to her next adventure. Smiling to herself as she loaded her things onto a luggage cart and headed to the terminal that would fly her to New Orleans………
MM22: This is chapter one, I would apologize for a short chapter, but I like to leave people in suspense. Also the more reviews I get the more I’ll write for the future chapters. One more thing I’ll also hold a poll for the following pairings: Kagome/ Ash, Mia/ Ash, Kagome/ Savitar, and Mia/Savitar. Again, the more reviews I get the more I will write.
