Chapter One - Odd Meetings
A/N: Hey everyone, I’m a really bad name creator XD. So don’t mind me now if the names sound really stupid, ILY!

Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at her clock with sleep still on her mind. ‘Oh, it’s just 11...’ Rin thought sleepily and let her eye fall closed again. A few minutes later her eyes shot open and she jumped out of bed, “Oh, CRAP!”
Rin ran to the washroom and ran back to her closet in her room with a toothbrush in her mouth. ‘I have to hurry... oh crap I’m gonna be late.’ She ran back to the bathroom after she picked out some clothes from her closet, when she heard her phone ring. ‘Oh gosh, who is it now?’
“Hello, Rin here.” She said into the phone, her voice giving no hint of the current rush she was in.
“Hey Rin its Kagome, I’m surprised you’re up this early on a Saturday-“
“IT’S SATURDAY?!”
“Yeah, someone’s a little lost for time.”
“Oh, shut up! You’re one to talk.” Rin said jokingly as she calmed down.
“Did you think you were going to be late again?”
“Yeah, you know how he gets.”
“Kouga, Yeah I know; Total drama queen.” Kagome said with as she giggled.
“So anyways, what’s up?”
“Nothing, I just wanted to know. Do you want to come to a party with me?”
“Of course Kagome, You know I love parties, for who? If it’s with that new boyfriend of yours Kagome I swear-“
“There’s nothing wrong with him!”
“He sure looks like he doesn’t like me!”
“Well, who told you o make fun of him huh? Oh, and open your door, there’s a surprised for you.”
“Well I wouldn’t have made fun of him if it wasn’t for him calling me short.” Rin said as she walked towards the front door.
“SURPRISE!” Kagome yelled as she hugged Rin right when the door opened.
“Kagome,” Rin laughed as she hugged her best friend of 15 years. They had met in their first year of grade school. And ever since then they have been friends; even after Rins’ parents died, they became closer. Kagome was like a sister to her now, “I didn’t know you were coming.” Rin said still hugging Kagome.
“Well of course, it’s not like I live far!” Kagome laughed as she pulled away from the hug and walked with Rin upstairs to her room. “So Rin, you were going to wear this, really?” Kagome laughed as she looked at the clothes Rin had picked out in her morning rush, were lying on her bed in a rumpled pile.
“It’s not that bad.” Rin said sarcastically as she began to laugh as well. On accident she had picked out a green Tee shirt that said Eat Me! with a bitten muffin on it and a pair of grey pants; “Okay, maybe it is!” Rin said as she began to laugh even louder.
“So Rin” Kagome asked as they began to calm down, “What did Kouga want with you so early in the morning anyways? Unless he wanted to tap that” She laughed.
“Well, he wanted me to take so pictures of him because he thinks that he’s-“Rin started as she wiped a tear away from her eye. She had laughed so hard that he eyes began to water.
“A total homo,” Kagome said in a cheery-car-salesman type voice.
“No! Because he thinks he’s hot or something, I don’t know. He can be stupid sometimes, you know.” Rin said as she put her clothes away. “So anyways about this party, what the hell am I supposed to do there? He hates me remember?” Rin said as she turned to Kagome from her closet door.
“Well, I was wondering if we could go now. Because it’s a surprise party in a way and I said you would help decorate.” Kagome said as she looked down.
“Oh gosh, well I hope you don’t expect me to go all happy and cheery... HEY! Cheer up Kagome, I’ll go with you!” Rin said as she playfully jumped on Kagome.
Kagome looked up and smiled, “Thanks so much Rin!”
“It’s okay; I just have to get ready now so...Out!” Rin said as she pulled Kagome up and pushed her out of the door playfully.
“Alright, fine. But you better wear something nice or else.” Kagome giggled and walked out the door, shutting it behind her.
As Rin walked over to her closet, she began to look over her clothes and see what she could wear. After a few moments she decided to wear a black mini-dress and knee-high stiletto boots. The dress fit her curves and was cut low enough to show some cleavage, but not too much. After she put on the dress she moved over to her vanity to do her hair and makeup. Instead of doing anything fancy, she just left her flowing hair free and decided to put on just some pink blush and lip-gloss.
When Rin walked out of the room, she went downstairs to get Kagome who was watching TV.
“Oh my goodness, Rin you look gorgeous!” Kagome practically yelled as she turned around to see a gorgeous Rin standing near her. “Thank you, you look pretty good yourself” Rin complimented back. Kagome was wearing black jeans with black pumps, a white quarter-sleeve shirt and a black/grey/white argyle v-neck vest overtop.
“Well, we better get going and hope that his brother got him out of the house on-time without throwing him out.” Kagome said as she headed for the door.
“Wait a minute, he has a brother!? And you expect me to go there in this? I have to change Kagome, I can’t go!” Rin said in a panicky voice as she was about to bolt upstairs when Kagome caught her and said,” No Rin, you look fine! What do you think, he’s gonna hate you if you don’t look perfect?”
“No! It’s just that I’m showing way too much boobs for his brother!” Rin said as she struggled against Kagome who had her in a bear hug.
“Oh Rin, you look fine. And don’t worry your barely showing any. Let’s go, we’re gonna be late.” Kagome said as she turned to the door, letting go of Rin.
“Oh fine, you win.” Rin sighed as she walked behind Kagome out the door and to her car.

“Sesshomaru, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?” InuYasha yelled as his brother dragged through the halls by his collar and towards the front door.
“Well I told you to leave, and you wouldn’t.” Sesshomaru said in a monotone voice.
“What if I don’t want to leave? If you change the locks on the doors again I swear.” InuYasha yelled as he struggled against the iron grip or Sesshomaru.
“I won’t, because when father found out I got into trouble.”
“Fine I’ll go, WILL YOU LET GO NOW,” InuYasha said as they reached the front door. He stood up and brushed his clothes, fixed his hair and glared at his brother, “You didn’t have to drag me down the stairs you know.”
“Yes little brother I know, but it was very...enjoyable.” Sesshomaru said as he let a small grin creep onto his face.
“Okay dude, you’re creepy... Stop Smiling! It’s creeping me out.”
“Then that’s too bad now isn’t it? Now leave.”
“So much for: being nice to the birthday-boy. Asshole,” InuYasha rolled his eyes and walked out the front door to his car; He was headed to his friend Mirokus’ house.
Sesshomaru went back to his room and picked up his cell phone and dialled Kagome’s number.
“Hello, Kagome? It’s Sesshomaru.”
“Hey, I was waiting for your call. We’re headed over right now. Is he out yet?”
“Yeah, I finally got the stubborn idiot out of the house. IS that girl still coming?”
“Oh you mean Rin? Yeah she is. We’ll be there in five.”
“I’ll see you then.” Sesshomaru said as he hung up the phone and went to the shower.

“Okay Kagome, spill it. Who was that?”
“That was his brother.” Kagome said as she pulled up into his driveway.
“And why was he talking about me?” Rin asked as she folded her arms in front of her chest.
“Because he wanted to see if you were still coming; Come on let’s get inside.” Kagome said as she got out of the car and started to walk up to the door of the large house. “Gosh Kagome, couldn’t wait until I got out of the car.” Rin grumbled as Kagome rung the door bell.
Sesshomaru was going to leave the doorbell to just let it ring, until he remembered that there was no one home.
“So much for five minutes,” Sesshomaru started and then he glanced over at Rin, “So is this her?”
“Yeah it is, and Sesshomaru...” Kagome said as she glanced over at Rin, “Could you please put a shirt on?” Kagome then walked inside and Rin still stood staring at the doorway.
“You can stop staring now.” Sesshomaru said as he stood looking down at Rin. ‘Oh shit, that’s embarrassing’ “Sorry, I didn’t mean to.” Rin said as she began to blush and looked down. “Its fine, come in.” Sesshomaru said as he offered her his arm, she took it and they walked into the house.
“Hey Kagome, you can start setting up. I’m going to show Rin around the house.” Sesshomaru said as he and Rin walked by her in the living room. “Alright, I’ll call the rest of the people.” Kagome called after them.

“So umm, Sesshomaru...”
“I’m taking you around the house so that you won’t get lost, if that’s what you were going to ask,
“Well no, I was going to ask why you still don’t have a shirt on.”
“No need to worry about that.”
Rin took that as her queue to shut up. Walking down the hall in silence, they approached another of many doors. Sesshomaru let go of her arm and opened the door, not knowing what to do Rin just stood there; in the hallway. When Sesshomaru took a few steps into his bedroom he realized that Rin had not followed.
“Come Rin. I will not be long.” Sesshomaru said as he turned to her. Rin just looked up at him and nodded, blushing more now. ‘I can’t believe I’m going into his room. I don’t even know him, but he’s pretty hot though.’ “Sit, I will change in there.” Sesshomaru said as he pointed to his bed, and then his walk-in closet.
As Sesshomaru walked off, Rin sat on the bed and thought, ‘Damn He’s hot. And I’m here on his bed, and I can’t even do anything with him,’ Rin had let herself fall back onto the cushiony surface of his bed, closing her eyes soon after.
When Sesshomaru came out of his closet he was wearing black jeans, a white tee with a black long-sleeve shirt underneath it. He looked over to where Rin was laying and walked over to her. He leaned over her, placing his arms on both sides of her and looked straight into her face. He studied it for a short while then thought, ‘What the hell is wrong with you Sesshomaru? You don’t even know this girl.’ But he couldn’t help it and kissed her lightly on the lips.
When her eyes opened she just looked at him still over her, she leaned forward just enough to capture his lips once again with hers. He lowered himself closer to her, still keeping his weight off her with his arms and kissed her back. Rin brought her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss, plunging her tongue into his mouth.
When the two finally pulled apart, Rin looked up at him and said, “What was that for?”
“Because I could” Sesshomaru said with a smile and stood up.
“What do you think I am? Just some random girl you can make out with when you want to?” Rin asked enraged as she sat up on the bed and looked him straight in the eyes.
“If I thought that, then I would have done much more.” Sesshomaru said coolly.
Calming down a little, Rin said, “Then why would you do it?”
“Why then, would you not stop me?”
“Well maybe,” Rin started as she stood up from the bed and looked at him straight in the face, “I didn’t think you would be that stupid to try something.” Rin finished before she walked away from him to leave the room and go in the direction she thought was the right way to go.
As Sesshomaru watched Rin walk out the door all he could think was, “Wow. What a bitch.”
