Song fic – Sesshomaru and KagomeThe song is Liar by Korn. I do not own it or profit from using it. This is purely for fiction.
There in a clearing stood Inuyasha in all of his glory. The day was perfect. The sun was up and there was a slight breeze in the air. All of his friends had left, forsaking him after losing Kagome. Well today he was going to change that. To day he was going to get her back. The wind shifted and gave Inuyasha warning of their arrival.
Sesshomaru held Kagome in his arms bridal style as they were flying through the air on his demon cloud. Kagome was snuggled up to Sesshomaru’s chest when she felt the rumble of a growl coming from her lover. Kagome looked up at Sesshomaru and knew instantly that it was Inuyasha. Well that was fine. As far as she was concerned this needed to end so that they could get on with their lives.
Sesshomaru approached the clearing that Inuyasha was in and wondered if the pup was looking for his death this day. Slowly he let the cloud make its decent into the clearing. Sesshomaru set Kagome down on her feet before facing his brother.
“What do you want Inuyasha?” Sesshomaru’s voice was cold and unmoving as he spoke to Inuyasha.
“I want her back.” Inuyasha stood tall as he spoke with Sesshomaru. He learned a long time ago to use his head instead of running in sword drawn.
“Why?”
“I love her.” Sesshomaru laughed out loud at that and just smiled evilly.
“My brother, you love her. But don't give up your instincts. Hang onto you know what. They'll be gone fast as you blink.” Inuyasha draws his sword and glares at the demon lord before replying.
“They're trained to seduce you. Suck you dry quick as they can.” Sesshomaru growls and pulls his own blade.
“They tried to reduce you. Now you're barely a man.” Inuyasha makes the first lunge. Sesshomaru clashes and locks his blade with Inuyasha’s, their faces a few inches apart.
“Oh my god, how can you deny the flood that's flowing through you.” Sesshomaru pushes Inuyasha’s sword to the side and jumps away and swings his sword to point at Kagome.
“Hey you! You're saying that she's all that you desire. Liar.” Inuyasha growls and charges again, taking swings at the taiyoukai.
“Hey you! You think you can throw water on this fire. Liar.” Sesshomaru lunges at the boy. Determined to end this even if it means blood shed. With a flick of his sword Inuyasha’s get flung a good distance away. Sesshomaru levels tokijin at Inuyasha’s throat.
“It's not wrong to let go and let the woman ride you. For fuck sake, don't lose touch with the dog that's inside you. She wanted what you had. You bet she smelt the spore.” Inuyasha growled.
“Don't wimp up, fuck her up. One more time, slam that door. Oh my god, how can you deny the flood that's flowing through you.” Sesshomaru roared hearing this and slammed his blade into the boy’s chest. Inuyasha stumbled away from his brother holding the now gaping wound. Sesshomaru growled at the boy.
“Hey you! You're saying that she's all that you desire. Liar. Hey you! You think you can throw water on this fire. Liar.” Sesshomaru spun around and walked away. He heard Inuyasha whisper something and stopped to listen closer.
“Oh my god, how can you deny the flood that's flowing through you…” Inuyasha’s breath left his body. Sesshomaru nodded toward his body before walking toward Kagome again. Sesshomaru lifted Kagome and flew off toward home.
