A/N: To go along with things I've noticed in my "A New Beginning" story, whenever I read a Sessh/Kags AU fic, he's always an uptight business guy. Well, here's one of my ideas on how he could have turned out. Hehe, ^^; I had fun writing this, and I hope you have fun reading it. It was just a little something I put together while suffering from writer’s block on another one of my stories, lol.

Chapter I: A Dance to Remember
A young woman, 7 months into her pregnancy, unlocked her door and all but bolted into her living room while seeking out her favourite loveseat. She plopped down wordlessly, wanting nothing more than to relax after a hard day’s work, scowling mentally at her boss’ grueling hours he had laid on her with the excuse of “if you’re going on maternity leave, you better prove your weight in cash now so I won’t have to think about firing you later.” Bastard. It was a decent job she did while working on the computers, with good pay, but the longer she stayed the more she convinced herself that her boss truly was trying to kill her. With still 2 months to go in her pregnancy, her ankles were swollen, stomach looking like a beach ball, she couldn’t see her feet and only realized after work today that her socks didn’t match (compliments to her best friend, Sango, for pointing it out). On top of her aggravating problems, her fiancé of two years had up and left her during her first trimester before she could even inform him that she was carrying his child and due to medical payments and preparing for the new arrival, she was falling behind on her bills.
Kagome gave an exasperating sigh as she heard a faint beep from the kitchen, signaling that someone had called and left a voicemail on her machine while she was “proving her weight in cash”. Debating on whether it was really worth the time and effort of rolling off the couch, she finally got herself up when she realized that the beeping was just going to grind her already strained nerves. Half walking, half waddling, Kagome made it to her answering machine and pressed the button, hearing Inuyasha’s voice phasing through.
“Hey, uh, Kagome. Uhm, I got your message a while back about the kid…uh, sorry I didn’t call before now, got busy, you know how it is. Listen, did you get rid of it? If not, let me know how much I owe you and shit.”
After the delightful little speech, the line died as Inuyasha apparently had nothing more to say. Kagome glared at the phone, rubbing her rounded belly gently. 5 months. It took that bastard 5 months to return one phone call?!
“It’s ok, sweetie, I wouldn’t let you go. And don’t worry, from the way that…that…male sounded, you won’t be seeing him too much anyway. It might save you from some disappointments later on.”
The 20 year old gave a soft sigh, smiling sadly at her inner bundle. It was true enough, the child’s father probably wouldn’t be around enough to have a negative influence on it, but being the woman she was, she wasn’t going to talk down about the man in front of the child either. Best to let the kid make their own decision when they’re old enough.
“I wonder if you’re going to be a girl or a boy. I know it’s silly for me to wonder now, since I’ve already told the family that I didn’t want the doctors to tell me, but now I can’t wait until you’re born for other reasons besides resting my back, ow!”
Kagome wrinkled her nose at her stomach, having been kicked in what she thought was her lung, maybe liver, some sort of internal organ was bruised, that much was for sure.
“Well fine, be that way…you’re already acting like your father…ow! Stop hurting Mommy!”
With yet another sigh, she turned to the fridge, digging through the contents for something light to eat. Deciding on a fruit salad, she piled some random fruits in a bowl and dumped a few spoonfuls of Cool Whip in it before heading back into the living room to watch TV. Once finished with two episodes of Scrubs and her evening snack, the phone rang. With a growl, the woman got up yet again to waddle/walk towards the phone, picking it up and all but snarled at whoever dared to interrupt her quiet time.
“This better be good.”
“Have mercy on me, Kagome!”
The girl gave a giggle at the voice in the phone, shaking her head slightly.
“Miroku, you idiot, what’s up?”
“Nice to see my charm still works. Sango had asked me to call you since you weren’t answering your cell phone, and apparently she forgot your house number.”
“Oh, sorry about that, my battery died. I was going to charge it tonight. Did she say what she needed? Is she with you now?”
“No, Sango is still on her shift at work. She called me on her break, so here I am talking to you. She mentioned something about a girl’s night out or something this weekend. She wanted to make sure you were still going.”
Kagome rolled her eyes before smiling softly.
“Yeah, I know what you’re talking about. And I have to go, otherwise she’ll never let me live it down. At least not for a while.”
“Good, good. I’ll let her know when she comes home. Have you heard anything from Inuyasha yet?”
There was a pause before Kagome finally answered, nodding her head as if the man on the other line would actually see her.
“Yeah, he left a message today. Asked if I aborted it, or if I kept it. I suppose I’ll have to call him eventually. But since he took his dear sweet time in calling about the whole issue to begin with, I’m not entirely wanting to call him just yet either.”
“No, no, I understand. Besides, it’s late right now, and he knows what your hours are.”
“Yeah, you’re right. Anyway, I don’t think he really wants anything to do with the child.”
“Yeah? What makes you say that?”
“The tone he used on the machine. He just wanted to know how much he owed me every month if I did keep it.”
“Ah, I see. I wouldn’t let him bother you too much, Kagome. You know if you ever need anything, then Sango and I will gladly step in to help.”
“Yeah, I know, Miroku. You guys are the best.”
“Well, I suppose I should let you go now, so you can get as much rest as you can. Take care, Kagome.”
“Alright, bye Miroku.”
The young woman hung up the phone and looked at the clock, sighing at the time. Gathering herself up, she headed towards her bathroom for her nightly routine before heading to bed, shifting every so often when her baby decided it was time to move. Restless child, almost as bad as your father.
A couple of days had passed before Kagome woke up on Saturday morning to someone knocking on her door. Yawning, she rolled out of bed and went for the door, ready to snap at whoever it was coming over at…she looked at the clock…1 in the after noon. Don’t people ever sleep in on weekends? She grumbled something else as she opened the door, allowing Sango to waltz on in.
“Kagome!…Uh…Did you just wake up?”
Kagome managed to muster a half-ass glare at her best friend before wandering into the bathroom, grimacing at her appearance. Her hair looked like a crow’s nest, her eyes heavy with sleep, and her pajamas were disheveled. In all, she looked like she had partied the night before, and now was suffering for it. Damn, I look bad. After cleaning herself up and taking a shower, Kagome stepped back into the living room in a fresh shirt and jeans.
“You know, it amazes me, Kagome. A lot of mothers to be just buy maternity pants. You just wear your same old jeans. Don’t they get uncomfortable?”
“Not if I keep them unzipped. Besides, no one notices and I don’t have the money to buy random clothes and knowing I’m only going to wear the stupid things for a few months.”
Sango blinked at her friend, deciding to drop the subject, unsure whether it was one of those “dangerous waters” times or not.
“So, what did you have planned for us, Sango?”
“Welp, you, me, Ayame, Ayumi, Eri, and Yuka were going to enjoy a girl’s night out. You know, some shopping, some eating, some looking, and stuff.”
Sango began fidgeting with excitement by the end of her ramblings, which didn’t go unnoticed by Kagome, who quirked a brow at her friend’s odd behaviour. Shopping? Sango hates shopping. And looking? Looking for what?
“What are you hiding?”
Sango looked up, surprised, then shook her head quickly, trying not to give anything away.
“N-Nothing. Not hiding a thing.”
Another quirk of Kagome’s brow was all the answer she needed to know that her pregnant friend didn’t believe her in the least.
“It’s nothing bad. Just some fun in town with the girls?”
“Will this involve me having to be the DD?”
“Huh? No, we wouldn’t do that to you, Kagome. No one’s getting drunk.”
“Alright, does it involve clowns, turkeys, or watermelons?”
Sango gave the other woman a blank stare for a second before shaking it off.
“What? No! Why would there be?”
“Because, clowns are evil, turkeys attack, and you don’t want to know about Fooby. I just had to make sure none were involved in this…event.”
“Fooby?”
“The Kamikaze Watermelon.”
“…Ok? Uhm…Hehe, that’s weird, but alright. No, no Fooby. Can we go now?”
“Yeah, yeah, lets head out.”
“Great, we’re meeting everyone at the mall. Did you want to stop by and get some food on the way there?”
“Sure! I’m craving a Big Mac.”
The two hurried out, grabbed a bite to eat and headed for the mall for the first bit of fun. The rest of the gang flocked about Kagome, asking how she and the baby were doing.
“Oh gods, Kagome, you’ve gotten so big!”
A weary glance at Ayame and Kagome walked on by, telling herself she wasn’t big…she was just pregnant. Stupid swollen body, stupid cravings that make me fat, stupid stupidness… Another kick caused Kagome to stop in her tracks, prompting the other girls to bustle around her, wanting to know if something was wrong. Upon hearing that there was a kick, the entire mall managed to catch the phrase “Touch the belly and lose your hand!”
“But, Kagome…I only wanted to feel the baby kick!”
Kagome glared at Yuka, swatting the other girl’s hand away again.
“I don’t want people touching my stomach randomly. The least you can do is give me a heads up before lifting my shirt for all to see.”
The woman had the decency to look down in shame, backing away from her pregnant friend.
“Sorry, Kags. It’s just so exciting, you know?”
Kagome gave a soft chuckle, guiding Yuka’s hand to her stomach and waited for another kick.
“I know. But you know I don’t like surprises, and having the world see my stomach is a surprise I’d just as soon not deal with.”
The gang hurried through the mall, heading straight for the baby clothes. Coos were heard throughout the store as they picked out a number of onesies that could be put on both a girl and a boy, considering none of them knew what Kagome was having.
After the mall, the girls took a drive to get something light to eat before heading to the “looking” part of their night out. Kagome’s eyes widened at the sound of the familiar club beat.
“I thought you said there was going to be no drinking!”
Sango laughed lightly and shook her head.
“No worries, Kagome, there won’t be any drinking. We all want to remember what we see here.”
Kagome reread the sign of Chippendales and her eyes bugged, her jaw dropping slightly.
“No! Oh no! Didn’t I tell you people I don’t like surprises? Bad surprise! Bad!”
Her friends paid her no mind as they guided her into the club, the music bouncing and the men dancing. The dancers’ eyes focused on the odd sight of a very pregnant woman being dragged into the club by her friends. Each man grinned lightly, but quickly put the thoughts out of their minds as a familiar pair of golden eyes glared at them.
The girls sat down, each ordering either a soda or water, having all promised to play nice and not drink and force Kagome to be the DD again. The last time that happened, they faced a seriously peeved Kagome by the next morning, who had to clean up their messes and make sure each made it to the bathroom before they ruined her floors.
Kagome sulked quietly with her coke, twirling the straw through the ice and drink as men in black pants, white cuffs and collars, danced about the tables. Periodically a pair of pants would be torn off and thrown to the floor, causing a volley of “Ahhhhhh!” to go about as the girls through money at the men, demanding “More! MORE!”
Sesshomaru watched from backstage as the men on the floor and stage began eyeing a woman who had just entered the club. His golden eyes shifted, seeing a rather beautiful woman who was determined not to enjoy her night. He narrowed his eyes, realizing that this same woman was the one who dated his half brother, the same poor girl his brother walked out on not half a year ago. He had never met her in person, but he had seen picture of her with his family, his father and step mother, which struck him as odd considering there were none of her and Inuyasha to be found. The inu youkai gave a small growl and glared at the men, smirking to himself when they all immediately pretended that the little beauty wasn’t in the room.
The lights dimmed at first, then flickered to life as the strobes were put on, a new beat catching Kagome’s attention. The women in the club went wild, knowing who was coming on next. A tall man with silver hair and golden eyes stalked onto the floor, stopping long enough to grind his hips to the beat. His unusual dress drew Kagome’s eyes to him immediately. He wore white hakamas and a white haori with a red pattern on the sleeves and collar. Tying it all together was a bright yellow and blue obi, which was quickly taken off, sensually rubbed and wrapped around his body.
He sauntered towards Kagome, gently rubbing the silk around her neck and pulling her face forward as he crouched down, rubbing himself against her knee, dry humping her as her face flushed furiously. The women of the crowd yelled, screamed, begged for more, all the while glaring at the poor pregnant woman who seemed to be getting all the attention of this strip god and had yet to throw or slip any money to him.
Kagome’s eyes were wide as she looked into familiarly unfamiliar eyes, her hazy mind finally deciding that he had to be related to Inuyasha on some level. She shivered when she felt him rubbing against her and almost whimpered when he backed away. She watched as he slowly, teasingly took off the haori, his eyes never leaving hers. During the tease, she almost felt as if she were the only woman in the club, the cheers and swears falling on deaf ears. Suds fell down the perfectly sculpted chest as she briefly wondered when he had gotten the soapy water, let alone poured it on himself. His stripes were slick, twin lines peaking out where the rim of his hakamas were.
Sesshomaru watched as her small, delicate fingers clutched onto his obi as he violently ripped the pants off, sporting nothing more than a thin, black thong that held in his well endowed manhood. He couldn’t help but smirk mentally as her eyes widened, her stare immediately falling between his thighs. She almost looks like a virgin, had Inuyasha never showed her the pleasures of a man? Simply took pleasure for himself? Foolish brother. He wondered at the woman, having heard of his brother’s disgrace at not wanting anything to do with his unborn child. The woman either thought to convince the fool to stay with her due to it, or she had more courage than most he could ever count by taking on the responsibility alone.
The young woman watched as the man stalked back up to her, turning slowly to give her a full view of every detail. Her eyes traced where the stripes on his hips circled around his waist and ended at the base of his back, the sight of it all sending a shiver down her spine. As he turned full circle, he began grinding his hips against her lap, flexing his muscles with every thrust. His abs shaped with his movements, his pecs twitching as he purposely teased her, drawing her eyes to each and every inch of his body. He danced about her, around her, leaving gentle touches and caresses as she did so, earning an occasional gasp to escape her luscious lips. By the end of his routine, he lowered himself, allowing his tongue to slip out of his mouth, slipping a small piece of paper into the small bit of her bra that was now exposed.
“Read it later,” was all he said as he gathered his things, all but the obi that was wrapped around Kagome, and left, taking his earnings with him.

A/N: Ok, first chapter's up. This was actually meant to be a oneshot, but some other ideas came to me while writing this, so I decided that a oneshot just wouldn't be fun enough to write. So read and review, comments and critiques are always welcome. ^_^ I love to know how I can improve, but I love to know I've made my fans happy even more, lol.
Right now, I don't want to promise I'll update this all too soon, since I have a couple of stories I'm falling behind on, and I'm starting classes come Monday. So I'll update this as soon as I can. ^^
