Stops, Starts and Silly scenes
Like I said in the discription these are just bits and pieces that never went anywhere. Feel free to use them as inspiration or filler. I don't mind.

It was the middle of a hot and humid day and everybody had gone just about as far as they could possibly go and yet Inuyasha was pushing them on faster and farther. Shouting about weak humans slowing him down when even Shippo and Kirara were worn out and ready to take a break. Tempers were rising as fast as the temperature when finally Kagome snapped and in a low and vicious tone spoke the word Inuyasha hated most in the world. “SIT”
With their ‘leader’ now out cold they called a halt beside a slow flowing river and set up camp for the day. Once Inuyasha regained consciousness Kagome served a cold lunch of fruit and rice with vegetables to everyone before going to the river to wash up the lunch dishes. Coming back she mentioned that the river was fairly shallow and the water was nice and cool.
“We should take a dip and cool off a bit then perhaps a nap and move on after the sun sets while it’s cool. What do you guys think?”
Sango said that sounded nice but there wasn’t any good cover and they didn’t have anything to wear in the water to prevent the more henti of the group from getting ideas. To which Kagome mentioned that as hot as it was even if he did get ideas she doubted he would have enough energy to act on them and the Miroku concurred whole heartedly.
“Come on Sango it would be unfair to make the guys walk the river looking for somewhere they couldn’t see us from besides I really think the heat is getting dangerous without having any way to cool off.” Kagome pleaded.
“Lady Sango I vow not to act in anyway that would make you uncomfortable.” Miroku promised.
“Sango listen if it makes you to nervous we can all wear our undergarments in. That way we’re still decently covered. Ok?”
Sango seemed reluctant but finally gave in when she realized that if she wanted to wait she’d be the only one out of the cooling water. “Fine just no funny business Monk.”
“Of course not Lady Sango I wouldn’t dream of it.” He said. Grumbling from the slayer followed that statement as well as knowing looks from everyone else.
Everyone made their way to the river and stripped down to their unmentionables before getting into the water. The group as a whole sighed at the cool water; it was so nice and relaxing.
It wasn’t long before it was noticed that Shippo had fallen asleep in Kagome’s arms and that Kirara wasn’t far behind. It was decided to take the two youkai back to the campsite and set up a barrier around them to protect them while everyone else was at the river. Even though they were close enough to see and hear Kagome thought it would be nice for them to be able to sleep undisturbed by the rest and asked Miroku about soundproofing the barrier.
Miroku said that it would be a simple matter to adjust an ofuda for that and Kagome gathered the two small youkai and carried them to a bed roll while Miroku prepared the ofuda for the barrier. Just as they finished setting the barrier they heard a loud slap and a cry of “Henti!” right about the same time as they heard an “Oof.” and a splash.
Kagome turned to make sure that Miroku was still beside her and they both looked at each other in shock before turning to see Inuyasha a good few feet further on from where they had left him with a nice sized lump rising from between his ears.
“Inu…“ Kagome started. “…yasha?” Miroku finished. The two turned again to look at each other and Miroku started to snicker which sent Kagome into a fit of giggles.
