Toys for Tools

“Inuyasha?” Kagome called after her demon mate. It had been 4 years since Naraku’s defeat, and she had married Inuyasha, staying in the feudal era and occasionally visiting her time. They had bore an intelligent little girl, looking exactly like her father, except with black puppy ears. She was very beautiful, stubborn like her father, caring like her mother. The perfect little angel named Inami.

However, though Kagome loved her daughter dearly, she felt her relationship with her mate had changed. He seemed less aggressive than he used to be and not as horny as he was before she got pregnant. The sex was still great, but her life had been prolonged a couple hundred years, and she needed more sex dammit. Ok, maybe not that much, but she wanted it that way.

Inuyasha bounded into their little hut near the well, bringing Kagome some flowers, and a new kitten for his daughter. He lightly kissed Kagome on the lips and walked inside without a word. Kagome ached a little inside, because they never even bickered anymore. Honestly for her, it was a wonderful turn-on, and the make-up sex was FANTASTIC.

Occasionally Kagome would try to argue, but he insisted that it wasn’t good for their daughter, and though he was somewhat right, Kagome just couldn’t seem to have any fun anymore. He didn’t have to save her from huge demons anymore, just cockroaches coming from outside. It was like her life became boring.

“What’s wrong Kagome?” His question caught her off guard.

“Nothing. I’m fine. Just thinking to myself, that’s all.” She calmly walked outside, and looked back at her family. Then she got a strange idea that her mom told her about incase she ever felt this way in her marriage. “Inuyasha, I am going back to see my mother. Stay here with Inami. I will be back soon. Wait for me.” Instead of waiting for a response, she hurried to the well, having a great idea in mind.

Inuyasha watched as Kagome ran off into the distance. “I wonder what’s up with her…” he thought to himself. He noticed she had been acting strange since Inami learned to talk. They had sex, and that was still great, but he couldn’t understand why she seemed to be in so much distress. Was he doing something wrong? He felt there was something she wasn’t telling him. Maybe she didn’t love him anymore.

“No, that’d be strange. I would feel it if she fell out of love…” He reached for his mark, but decided against it. He didn’t want to keep his mind dwelling on something that made no sense to him. Still, it was in the back of his mind. “She knows I still love her right?’ the thought that she might have forgotten or have doubt in their bond left him weak at the knees.

Kagome immediately jumped out of the well, yelling for her mother. “Mom! Where are you? I need you!”

“Goodness Kagome, what’s the problem? You’re screaming like you’re about to die,” she answered her daughter. “What brings your sudden visit? I wasn’t expecting you for another week or so. Everything alright?”

“Well, everything is fine so far, but I am having some issues.”

“Like what?”

“Can we discuss this inside? We are still outside by the well, mom.”

“Oh you’re right. Lets discuss this over some tea, ok?”

Both Kagome and her mother calmly walked inside. Kagome explained to her mother her ordeal at home, knowing that she of all people would understand her dilemma. They talked for about an hour, and her mom gave her a solution.

“Buy some toys.”

“What?!” Kagome’s head nearly fell off of her shoulders.

“Buy some sex toys, and that should put some spice in your relationship. Me and your father had toys,” she calmly responded. “Here, I’ll give you some money, and I’ll tell you where the store is, and you should be alright. Have Sango and Miroku watch your daughter. You guys might want some alone time, if you know what I mean.”

Kagome was so red in the face, she could only nod. Well, this is what she asked for, so she figured she might as well give it a shot. She took the money from her mom, walked out the door, and was determined to get her sexual adventures back on track.

Kagome spent a total of 1 hour and 32 minutes in the store. She went to the counter, paid for her things, and was as red as an apple all the way back home.

‘I can’t believe I bought this shit...’ she thought to herself. ‘What’s Inuyasha going to think of me now? He’s never heard or seen of this before…I wonder how he‘s going to react…’

Kagome was eager to get back home and get this show on the road. As shy as she normally is, it was something new to her just as it would be to Inuyasha, and she knew the best way to get started. She got back to her mothers, thanked her for the advice, and jumped down the well with her bag of goodies.

Inuyasha was bored without his mate around, considering she had been gone for a few hours. He stepped outside into the sunlight and watched his daughter play with the kitten he brought home for her. It was a tabby cat, based on what Kagome said, with orange eyes. Him being a dog demon and not to particularly fond of cats, got one for his daughter because she wouldn’t stop nagging. Of course he felt she shouldn’t like them either, but children were children.

“What did you name your kitten?” he asked her. He had become more benign after his daughter was born. It was like he couldn’t help it. He still snapped at Miroku, but he knew he had a soft spot for his daughter and Kagome.

“Pachi. I named her Pachi Daddy.” she looked at him with amber eyes resembling his. He couldn’t help but smile.

Then it occurred to him. Why not have another kid? He’s got a few hundred years to spare. Might as well add to the hanyou population, right? Plus, they haven’t had a son yet either and he‘s been wanting one of those…

He looked at his daughter, silently thanking the heavens for blessing him with his family. He decided to take her to Sango and Miroku’s house for a little while, and bounded off to the well where he was expecting his mate to arrive, planning a little surprise for Kagome.

Kagome climbed out of the well, back into the feudal era she called home. As she grabbed her little bag of goodies, a hand gripped her shoulder and she screamed in fright, dropping her bag. She slowly turned around to a grinning hanyou.

“Goddammit Inuyasha! You scared the hell out of me!”

She waited for an answer, until she realized his gaze was towards the ground. She then realized she dropped her bag, the contents spilling everywhere, froze in embarrassment. Her cat of nine tails whip was on the ground, with her gag ball, not to mention her handcuffs and nipple clips.


“Kagome, what are those?”
“Oh shit.”
“Kagome? Are you gonna answer me?”

She was so embarrassed that she had no idea how to answer. ‘I didn’t plan this part..’ She looked at her mate, and realized he had no idea what he was looking at, which gave her an idea of a cover up. “Tools. They’re tools.” She calmly picked them up, put them back at the bag, and turned back towards Inuyasha. “Do me a favor.”

“Sure. What do you need?”

“Take Inami to Sango and Miroku’s house. I have something special planned for us tonight. Can you do that for me?”

With a confused look on his face, he nodded, and headed towards home.

Kagome sighed with relief, and walked towards her home. He’d get there first considering he was a lot faster than she was, so she had time to get ready for him as he dropped his daughter off. Kagome was shivering with excitement and anxiety as she had no idea what she was getting herself into, and had no idea how to introduce toys into their relationship without Inuyasha becoming completely clueless.
