So it begins...
[A/N: I haven't touched this story since I started it way back in 2005.
It's nowhere near being done obviously. So crit if you'd like, but keep that in mind and don't be a jerk like someone did on it when I first had it on Phoenix Cat 27.
I was looking the old account over and realized that this guy just ripped into me a YEAR after I wrote it. And about the intro. It's an INTRO! Of course nothing is explained yet. Geez. ANYWAY!
It's in the categories it's in for a reason. So if you don't like a Sue, don't read it. Yea, he complained about that too.

Also, minor use of the Japanese language. No, I'm not a wanna be. I'm learning and visiting. So hush.]

It's an Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho crossover. I'll try to keep them in character but since I haven't seen these chars in all situations it might be hard at times.
Oh! This is a few years after the time in the shows. So Yusuke is 18, and so is Kagome. Just so you don't get confused while reading. :P And don't worry, I'll explain what happened in those missing years....eventually.
Again, I don't own either anime. Sadly....

Info: You're name is Miho Carasu. You're 17 and attend Sarayashiki High. You live with your mom (Riku), dad (Hisaki), and lil sis (Akuro).
You already know Kagome, have for awhile now. She transferred from her old high school due to her attendance record while hunting for the jewel shards. When the jewel was completed and wished upon Kagome found it hard to go back to her high school so she was allowed to transfer to your's.
Anyway, I think that's enough info for now. Let's start the story shall we?

"Miho, time to get up." your mother calls from the kitchen.
You roll over to look at your bedside clock to find that she's running a little early today. You still have a good 10 minutes of possible sleep time. 'Oh well' you think as you get out of bed.
"Miho, did you hear me?" she asks coming to your door.
"Yes mom, I heard you, and I'm up." you reply a little annoyed. "What's for breakfast?"
"I made the usual, some miso soup, rice, and tea. Oh! And a sugar dumpling since it's your first day back to school. Get going or it's going to get cold." she answers.
You roll your eyes as she walks away. Anytime anything is cooked she seems to think it will go cold in 2 minutes.
You pull on your shirt and then wrestle with your skirt. Akuro walks in.
"Having trouble getting dressed again big sis?" she asks mockingly.
"Maybe if I didn't have to deal with you I would be better able to dress myself." you reply and stick out your tongue.
"Whatever." she gets bored and walks away.
'Pssh, little brat.' you think.
When you're finally dressed you slide your screen shut and walk over to the table. You sit down before you notice that your dumpling is gone.
"Hey, where's my dumpling??" you ask.
You look over to Aku and notice that shes grinning.
"Well sis, I noticed that it was getting cold so I thought I'd help you out and eat it for you. I know you don't like it when your food gets cold."
'Oh well.... wasn't really hungry anyway.' you think.
You finish what's left of your meal and take care of the dishes before grabbing your bag and heading out.
On the way you pass by the Higurashi's place and wait outside for Kagome for a few minutes. Out she comes, turning in the doorway to say goodbye to her mom and jii-chan.
"Good morning Miho!" she says, formalities long since used.
"Morning Kagome. Ready for school?" you ask.
She looks worried for a second and then bounces back to her usual chipper self.
"Yea! I don't know anyone there though.... except you of course!"
