How can one go on when they lost the one they loved to another? They find a method to get them back that's how.

"I love you Kikyo, I always have."

"As I have always loved you Inuyasha."

"I have loved you more than anyone else."

"I fell the same, but what are you going to do about Kagome? You know she loves you."

"I know she does, but she isn't the one I truly love you are, and I have to do the only thing I know, tell her the absolute truth, that you are my one and only."

Inuyasha held Kikyo's hand in his, bring it to his lips and kissed them.

"Kikyo I will be back I must go and tell Kagome the truth I can't keep this from her, she needs to know about us."

"Yes Inuyasha, you must let her know."

"Until later my love."

"Until then."

Their lips met and a passionate kiss, pulling away he told her good bye and left.

Back at the village

"Kagome have you seen Inuyasha?"

"No I haven't, but I bet I know where he is."

"He is with Kikyo isn't he.?"

"Yes! More than likely he is, I know he still loves her, and I am just a copy of her." Kagome started to cry.

"Kagome don't cry please, we can help you."

Kagome runs to Sango and cries on her shoulder.

"Oh Sango what I am going to do if he picked Kikyo, there is no way I could live up to her, she, and I are two different people who love the same man."

"I don't know Kagome, I just don't know."

"I will always love you mommy" Shippo tried to help make her smile.

"I will always love you to Shippo, you are like a son to me."Kagome had a small smile on her face.

"I know that Inuyasha loves Kikyo more than me, so I guess the best thing for me to do is to leave and try to think things over, I am not leaving for good, I just need time to think of how I am going to do this if my fears come true."

Just then Inuyasha comes.

"Kagome I need to talk to you."

:Here it goes, I just know it: Kagome though to herself.

"I need to talk to you as well"

"eh...ok"

"Come let go by the lake."

As they walked, they don't talk to each other, they were tried to think of what the other wanted to say.

Kagome sigh as they come closer.

:How am I going to do this if he wants to be with Kikyo:

"Well here we are."

"Yea......h"

Inuyasha looked in Kagome's eyes and all he saw we the hurt in them, for some reason, he knew that she already knew what he wanted to say.

"Well Inuyasha are you going to tell me why you wanted to talk to me or should I just guess why?"

"Kagome this is hard for me to do, but I need to say it."

Kagome took a deep breath and took Inuyasha's hand.

"Inuyasha I know that you love Kikyo, and I know that you want to be with her, what I want to know is why? Why couldn't you just tell me in the first place that way it wouldn't hurt so badly."

"Well if you would let me, I will."

"Kagome I love you, just not in the same way I love Kikyo, I have loved her for years and when I believed that she betrayed me it was different, but now I know better."

"So even if she is the walking dead and can never give you a child you still love her? Even if she tried to kill you more than ones you still love her?"

"Kagome look it isn't like that."

"Oh really! Then what is it?"

"I........oh never mind."

"Well if that is how you fell then I can't stand here and look at you knowing that you love someone who isn't me, I am sorry Inuyasha I have to go."

And Kagome ran off to the well.

"Shit..........WAIT Kagome."

But she didn't wait she ran as fast as she could, until she was knocked down by Inuyasha.


"What the hell, Inuyasha! What are you doing, can't you just leave me alone, you already told me that you want Kikyo so why won't you just leave me alone?"

"Kagome, I don't want this to stop us from being friends."

"Well, Inuyasha I am sorry to say, but it can't be that way, I can't stay here now that there is no reason to, how do you suppose we can still be friends, when just looking at you, I feel the unconditional love I have inside for you, the love that I can't have."

"Well if you remember you told me that you would also be by my side, even if I am with Kikyo."

"I now know that I just can't do it, say and doing are just two different things, and it is easier to say it then do it, that's why."

"Inuyasha, before to you another word, I will tell you this. Turning to him and holding his hand, she closed her eyes and tried to stop the tears that wanted to fall, taking a deep breath she spoke. "I will always love you no matter what, but I can't be here, and it would be better if I never came back, and if I do it will only be to see Sango, Miroku and Shippo.

"It is just too hard for me to see you with her and not me. goodbye Inuyasha." As kagome was turning back around to head to the well that would lead her home, Inuyasha grabbed her hand."

"Kagome please look at me. I know how hard it is on you but do you know how hard it was for me to pick Kikyo and not you?"

"No! Inuyasha I don't, I don't see how you could pick someone dead over me, I am live, and I could have given you lot of baby's, I am pups as you would have like, but it just can't be for you want her and not me. So please Inuyasha just let me go, I need sometime to think, and I need to see my family anyways, I may or may not be coming back but ethier way, I just need time."

And with that Inuyasha let her go, let her walk away and out of his life, for him it will seem like forever when she leaves, maybe to come back and maybe not for now he will just have to see and decide if he had truly chosen right.
