A New Adventure

It was a calm day in the Feudal Era. Beings human and youkai were all enjoying the wonderful weather, with only the occasional breeze to disturb the peace.

However, for the shard hunting group, this calm was the calm before the storm. The group was aware that this calm would not last long, so some chose to take advantage of the weather while others chose to remain on guard.

The hanyou, Inuyasha, was sitting in a tree with his sword resting on his lap, looking for danger while keeping an eye on the group.

The taijiya, Sango, was taking advantage of the current weather by cleansing her weapons and keeping a wary eye on the perverted monk.

The said monk was currently sitting upon a log nursing a wounded cheek with one of Kagome's icepacks. Apparently, he had decided to use the calm state the taijiya was in to revert back to his perverted ways.

As for the rest of the group, they were sitting alongside the stream, found on the otherside of the clearing they had set camp for the day. The neko demon, Kilala, was keeping a lookout for the small group but still in her smaller form. The kitsune, Shippo, was busy with the crayons and paper given to him after complaining of boredom. The young miko from the future, Kagome, was sitting between Shippo and Kilala, currently in deep thought.

To the average on looker, Kagome looked as if she was merely relaxing not thinking of anything specific. In truth this could not have been more wrong. Inside was a turbulent mess, with thoughts of her life since she came to the Feudal Era, her feelings towards Inuyasha and Kikyo's relationship, her upcoming birthday, the Shikon Jewel, and much more.

Kagome had no way of knowing that her life was once again about to change, taking her on a new adventure.
