Title: Parallel

Description:Inuyasha and the gang get sucked into a parallel dimension from their own. When they get there they find that their parallel forms are different sexes and that Inuyasha and Kagome's parallel forms are on a verge of a break up. It is up to the gang to keep them together for their own future.

Prologue:

Inuyasha was the first to wake. His head and stomach hurt, though he did not know the reason. "Wake up Kagome." Inuyasha said as he shook Kagome from her slumber.

"What is it Inuyasha? Where are we?" Kagome asked him.

"It looks like we are back at the village." Inuyasha answered.

"But how did we get back at the village? We were fighting Naraku." Kagome questioned him.

"I don't know, but let us go to Kaede's and see what has happened." Miroku suggested as he stood up from the ground.

"It would make sense." Sango agreed.

As they headed down towards the village they saw a man coming towards them. "Hello." Kagome greeted.

"Aaah! Another demon." The villager screamed then ran off.

"That was weird." Sango commented.

"Too weird." Inuyasha said.

"Lets go see Kaede." Shippou suggested.

As the group headed down to the village they received many of the same responses about Inuyasha. "Why don't they act like they know you?" Kagome asked thoroughly confused.

"I don't know." Inuyasha replied.

"Kaede are you in here?" Kagome asked as she went into Kaede's hut.

"You must be mistaken my dear. There is no Kaede here." An elderly man said as he stepped out.

"Who the hell are you?" Inuyasha asked as he poised to attack.

"Such manners. Where is Inutaisha when you actually need her?" The elderly man pondered.

"Who?" Inuyasha asked.

"You look a lot like her. I suppose I could go find her." The elderly man commented.

"Pardon me sir, what is your name?" Kagome asked.

"Kaga. Nice to know that there are some polite people among your group." Kaga said as he led the group through the village.

As they followed Kaga, Kagome whispered to the group, "Hey I think we might be in a parallel dimension."

"A what?" Inuyasha asked.

"A parallel dimension is an alternate reality from our own." Kagome explained.

"Oh my." Miroku said in surprise. "If what I am thinking is correct we all have counterparts."

"I wonder what our counterparts are going to be like." Sango said out loud.

"I don't know." Inuyasha commented.

"That's weird." Kaga said as they finally came upon a familiar looking well.

Inuyasha and Kagome gasped at the same time. "Kagome, that looks similiar to the well back home."

"Would you mind waiting for them? I will be back soon." Kaga asked as he turned for the village.

"Sure." Kagome said as she watched Kaga leave.

"Wouldn't it be best to wait in the bushes?" Miroku questioned then hid in a pair of bushes.

"You are right." Sango commented as she followed Miroku to a thick pair of bushes. Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippou followed the two then made themselves comfortable while waiting. They did not have to wait long. Inuyasha heard a female voice first. "Damn it Kagoru. I can't keep coming back after you every single time you have an exam." The voice said.

"Well I told you I was coming back. Have patience Inutaisha." Kagoru said as he hoisted himself out of the well.

"You are too damn slow. Thats why I have to come back after you. It's getting too old." Inutaisha said as she jumped out of the well.

Inuyasha wanted to gasp but kept silent. There stood an exact copy of himself. The major exceptions was that Inutaisha was female, she had slightly longer and straighter hair, and she wore a short white kimono underneath her haori instead of pants.

"Well I am sorry that I kept you so long. I'll try not to be late again. God forbid." Kagoru said sarcastically.

"How dare you! I get worried about you Kagoru. Who knows what goes on in that world of yours!" Inutaisha shouted.

"Inutaisha."

"What?!" She snarled at him.

"Inutaisha my world is completely different from the feudal era. I'm safe." Kagoru explained.

"Sure. Like the time I had to come after that stupid mask. You and your little sister were safe then." Inutaisha commented in a sarcastic tone.

"One time, Inutaisha, One time." Kagoru said to her.

"Yeah, yeah." Inutaisha said then smelled the air. "Uh. Kagoru."

"What is it Inutaisha? Is it Naraka?" Kagoru asked as he pulled out his bow.

"No. It is strange. Our scents smell different." Inutaisha commented as she sniffed closer to the bush.

"How?" Kagoru questioned.

"Your scent smells more feminine. Have you been around women at your school?" Inutaisha asked.

"Well I have too." Kagoru explained.

"That still doesn't explain it. Mirra, Shippa, and my scents smell masculine." Inutaisha said as she inched closer to the bush.

"Maybe your nose is on the fritz or something." Kagoru said.

Inutaisha turned around and stomped towards Kagoru. "My nose does not go on fritzs'. Whatever that is." Inutaisha told Kagoru angrily.

"Geez. Sorry." Kagoru apologized.

"Go see Kaga. I will meet up with you later." Inutaisha told Kagoru then bounded off in a huff.

"Im sorry Inutaisha!" Kagoru yelled after her. "Geez. She's cranky."

"Hello." Kagome greeted as Kagoru turned around.

Kagoru gasped. "Who are you?" He asked Kagome.

"I'm Kagome. Are you familiar with parallel dimensions?"
