Inuyasha's confession

Inuyasha watched as Miroku walked past, laughing with Kagome. He sighed as the sun hit the monk and made his brown eyes sparkle. He knew that his friend was lonely sometimes but he didn't know what to do for him. He tried to talk to him, but since he was always rude to him before, the monk wouldn't accept kindness from him. Feh, Inuyasha thought, I don't know why I am bothering! He is just a lecher anyway and only spends time with Sango or any other girl he can get ahold of. He probably wouldn't know true love if it hit him on the ass!

While the hanyou was thinking this, the monk was also looking at him from out the corner of his eye. He really liked Inuyasha but he didni't want him to know about it so he basically ignored him as much as he could while still showing some form of affection. But he was really worried about what the girls would say if he suddenly admitted to loving Inuyasha.

Inuyasha got tired of being in a tree away from his love so he jumped down. "Monk!" he yelled, "get over here!" Miroku rolled his eyes and walked over to the hanyou, his heart thumping rapidly at the look of rage in the hanyou's eyes. "What?" he asked bewildered, "i have done nothing wrong to Kagome. The only one I chase is Sango--"

"I kno," the hanyou growled. "That is going to stop soon too." The monk was really confused now, but also very curious and excited too. He stepped closer to Inuyasha and asked, "Why Inu? It's not like you are in love with her, or are you?" The monk chuckled and said, "If that is the case then I will gladly step aside for 'true love'" when Inuyasha glared and blushed the monk laughed.

"I DON'T LIKE SANGO!!!!!" Inuyasha yelled. Kagome, Shippo, Sango and Kirara heard that. They looked at each other in confusion and Sango called from the few feet they were and asked, "Is everything all right, Inuyasha?"

"Hell no!!" the hanyou yelled, with the monk frantically shaking his head and laughing at the same time. "This lecher just said that I loved you!"
At this the monk stopped laughing and tried to get away as Sango came after him, but Inuyasha got him first and held him down while she smacked him. "OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" Miroku howled. "Why'd you help her, Inuyasha? I meant it only as a joke!" "Well I obviously didn't think it was funny now did I?" the hanyou asked sneeringly. "If it was anyone in this group that I say that I loved it would be--" He broke himself off and blushed a deep crimson,

As soon as he said this, Kagome blushed in pleasure because she thought he was talking about her; Sango, Shippo and Miroku obviously thought so too so they all asked, "WHO?!" Inuyasha blushed harder and said, "None of your DAMN business!!!!" After saying that, he ran off, leaving them unprotected on the path that led through the demon forest. They were all stunned that he would do that and instantly went on guard again so that no other demon would try to kill them.

While they were on alert, Inuyasha was in a group of trees silently cursing himself for almost admitting his secret. He looked down at his love and his friends and thought I hope they never find out about my love for Miroku. They'd never understand and probably abandon him and me both! But deep inside he knew that his secret was only hurting himself more and more so he decided that it was time to tell his love that he loved him.

He jumped down from the tree without warning and startled them. Sango and Kagome both attacked at the same time and Inuyasha had to dodge both their weapons, but Kagome's arrow did hit him square in the shoulder. He cried out in pain and dropped instantly to the ground. The fact that her arrows could hurt him as much as Kikyo's had was still a startlement to Inuyasha but he would never admit that so he immediately got up as soon as he fell. The others went over to him and checked his shoulder.

"You dumb asses!" he yelled to hide his pain. "Why the hell did you do that for? I know that you don't trust these forests but that doesn't give you the right to attack every creature in it!" Miroku sighed in relief as he heard that remark but he still knelt beside him and said, "You sttartled us, Inuyasha. Can you blame them for thinking that it was another demon intending harm on any of us? What if it was Sesshomaru? Did you expect us to just stand there and let him kill us?" Inuyasha winced and said, "No. Sorry."

"Why'd you leave us, Inuyasha?" Kagome asked. "If you love one of us in a more than a friendly way, we won"t condem you for it." Of course when she said this, they all thought that it was her he was in love with, and not ALL of them were happy with the thought. "If you do love Kagome that much Inuyasha, you shouldn't feel like it was a dirty little secret." Miroku said. The girls and Shippo all glared at the monk and he shrugged unrepentantly.

Inuyasha really blushed then and he was angry because Miroku wasn"t getting that it was him that Inuyasha loved, and the hanyou was getting very fed up. When Miroku tried grabbing Sango on the ass again< Inuyasha finaqlly snapped.

He jumped up from the ground and yelled, "Leave her ALONE!!! I am the one you should be doing that to!!! Not HER!!!!!!" The group were surprised by the outburst and so was Inuyasha but he couldn't stand the thought of Miroku doing it again, and he wanted him for himself.


He walked over to the monk and grabbed his neck. "If you want someone to grope why do you always go to them? Don't you know that I love you? I want only you and if you don't know that by now, then I will show you." After saying this, he kissed him right on the mouth. The entire group gasped and Miroku was very happy. He kissed Inuyasha back and said, " I love you too, and I was hoping you'd get around to tell me!"
