The well closes
Taijina stretched out on the grass patch beneath her, her long golden hair surrounded her like a halo. A month had passed since Naraku defeat, and a group of female demoness whom believe they have invoked the spirit of Kami had made a decision to force the Shikon Jewel out of their era. Looking up at the moon, her silver eyes showed sadness. If she did not stop them one who use to be close to her would be hurt.
Having once been apart of the group she expelled herself when she learned of their plan. Knowing she could stop their plan, she got back to her feet and continued her journey toward the well of time in InuYasha‘s forest. Cloaking her scent she heading thru the western lands, hoping to get by their lord without confrontation. She was never that lucky, and her luck ran out as she felt his aura approaching.
“How long has it been Lord Sesshomaru,” Taijina asked as she stopped, knowing the demon lord was behind her as he had not hidden his scent.
“Why have you come back?” Sesshomaru asked, his voice emotionless. He stared at the demon before him, taking in her light purple Kimono. “Turn around and answer me.”
“I am just passing thru,” Taijina sighed as she turned to face him staring into his golden eyes. “Forgive me for not asking your permission first.”
“What has brought you back this way?” he continued his questioning, staring at her. Nothing about her had change in the twenty years she had left his lands. She still had her long golden hair that fell straight and curled at the bottom near her feet, silver eyes that looked like star light with silver streaks on her cheeks, and a dark purple star on her forehead. She was exactly how he remembered her.
“To stop the Miko who carries the Shikon jewel from being expelled from our lands,” she sighed, knowing she had to play the answer and question game with Sesshomaru to pass thru his land. She gave him answers without the fight she was begging to pick, but that didn‘t mean she had to tell him the whole truth.
“I care not if the Miko is expelled now leave my lands the way you have come,” he replied and turned to leave.
“Still heartless as always,” Taijina hissed, he stopped and turned to face her. “You and I both know if that Miko is gone it will crush InuYasha.”
“This Sesshomaru cares not what happens to his…” he began before being cut off by Taijina.
“You are a lair,” she accused, knowing the truth. They had both grew up together and were inseparable until he found out the truth of his father‘s swords. A secret the great Inu no Tashio swore her never to tell Sesshomaru, unfortunately she had too big of a mouth for her own good. “You do care what happens to InuYasha, why else would you make sure no demon attacked him or his mother as he grew up. Do not deny it, I was there to witness it all.”
“I deny nothing,” he replied, never letting his emotions show.
“Baka,” she huffed as she turned to continue her journey. Quickly she found her self being turned around and staring down at Sesshomaru as he held her in the air by her neck. “I won’t take it back because it is true.”
“You are still foolish,” he replied, not letting his anger show thru his mask. “I expected more from an Inu-Youkai such as yourself.”
“More what?” she spat at him. “Fight? Loyalty? What is it you want from me?”
“The truth,” he replied as he set her down, having enough of her. “Why are you really back in my territory.”
“Well it sure isn’t to rekindle any lost relationship, if that is what you are wondering,” she sneered as she rubbed her neck, glad he didn’t use his poison. “Now if you will allow me to continue my journey before it is to late, I shall be out of your hair.”
“You are to far spirited for your own good,” he replied as he vanished into the woods.
“Don’t I know it,” she sighed, all that was left was the faint scent Sesshomaru left. “But I’ll take that as a sure go on ahead with your quest. Shit, I’m talking to myself again.”
Sighing she started walking towards InuYasha’s forest. The sun would be rising soon and she had to hurry before it was too late and the girl would be lost forever. Picking up her pace she arrived at the well, the sun had already risen. There the Four Assassin Demons of Kami where, completing there task.
“Stop!” Taijina roared as she rushed towards the melee watching the four demoness in outfits similar to the demon slayer‘s fight, except their faces where hidden under masks covering their heads. InuYasha had Tetsusaiga transformed and was trying to stop the two attacking demonesses, one dressed in blue the other yellow. While the other two, in green and red, where fighting the monk and demon slayer. Where was the Miko? The four assassins noticed her presence.
“Traitor,” the one in the red suit hissed as she flew at Taijina. Stepping aside, Taijina grabbed her claw that was aimed at her heart, and twisted at the wrist with a snap. “The Kami’s wishes shall be granted.”
“Where demons,” Taijina hissed, as she jerked her forward by her wrist, her free hand flying thru the red demon’s chest. Coming out her back holding a beating heart. “The Kami has forsaken us to blood thirsty creatures, who shall destroy ourselves.”
“Quickly the Miko!” screamed the blue demon. Dropping the corpse of the red demon she rushed towards the well where the Miko was standing by the well holding a small Kitsune. Then it happen quicker then anyone could stop it. The yellow demon pushed her down the well, and in a quick flash of blue light her and the Kitsune’s aura where gone.
“No!” InuYasha screamed as everyone seemed frozen in time as the green one used her special attack to use the earth and close the well forever. The Miko’s way to and from InuYasha’s forest was closed forever.
“You three have sealed you fates,” Taijina said, as InuYasha’s eyes turned red, the stripes on his cheeks appeared. “Humans run before his blood lust consumes you.”
“Come on Sango,” Miroku said as he dragged her back to the village. Taijina watched as InuYasha stalk those that took his love from him. They had succeeded the jewel was gone from the world for 500 years, but it would cost them their lives.
