Chapter 1: Girls Night. . .


She looked down on the paper. She was sitting outside in the shimmering warm sun, who shined above. She had been borred again. She had been a lot in this days. So she had found her draw stuff and paper and just sat and looked on it. First she had drawed a bit. Some trees. The neubor hood. The garden. The house. But it was borring in the lenght. So now she decided to just write. First she wrote all the names on her friends and got an idea. She took a new paper and once again wrote the names, but this time all over each other in the left side. Then she wrote beside each name who animal that suited them the best. The first she started with was her closest friends, Sango and Kagome. Sango would be a tiger, she was so wild so it suited her best. Kagome on the other hand was more soft, but also noisy so the animal mouse was perfect for her. Then again a cat would make it too, so she became that instead. She did that with all her friends, first the girls, Kagura was free minded as a bird, Yura, not a so close friend, but still, was will powered as a lion, Kikyo became a ugly toad, she just hated her. The reason why was obvious, Kikyo allways was so mean to her and her friends and allways hang out with Yura, that was why she wasn’t quite her friend either, but still nice.

It became the boys turn and it was easy. Inu Yasha and his brother was dogs, the one hot headed and rude, the other elegant and beautiful. Miroku was a snake, allways glistering to people, mostly girls. Jakotsu was a snake too, but not the same kind, he just reminded her of one, also because of his movements. Bankotsu, Jakotsus best friend was the dragon, strong, kind, powerful and the perfect leader. Hiten the lighting one was fast, curious and cute in some way, so a little rat was the one for him. Naraku was the spider, conected to him loving those. Then it was his turn, the one she loved with all her heart and had loved since they was small. He became her favorite animal, not just because it was her favorite animal, but also because it suited him best. The wolf. Strong, handsome, lovely, friendly, trustworhty and leader too. The perfect animal to be Kouga. That was him, no doubt about that.

She sat and wondered a bit what would be her animal until a voice behind her shrugged her out of her thoughts.

- A wolf...

She quickly swirled around to look into the eyes of Bankotsu. He grinned widely and continued.

- Or what do you think, Ayame?

She frowned and hit him accross his smirking feature.

- Bankotsu-Kun, damn you! She cursed, hiding her drawings from him.

He just laughed and sat down on the bench in front of her. Bankotsu was her step brother, her mom suddenly died and short after her dad found a new love in Bankotsus mother. They have been a pair now for 4 years and for a year ago she moved in with her son. In the beginning it was very annoying, but by the time they growed to be friends and even cared about each other, but he could still be annoying some times. Right now for exampel.

- What? He laughed and rubbed the sore spot she hit him.

- It’s not funny! She cried. But in true it was, maybe. But anyways, he should not just invate her private things like that.

But ofcourse he knew her secret love for Kouga. Not that she told him. Oh no, he found out by himself. But how hard would it be if you were so close to eachother anyway. He saw it by her sighing all the time, mostly when Kouga just had been there or other girls had talked about him, of how handsome he was. It made her feel good and bad the same time. Good that other had just as good taste as her, but bad that there would be more competetion that way.

Bankotsu had surported her the best way he could as a step brother. And it had helped. Actually. She was thankful to have him here. One thing he didn’t knew was that Sango had an eye out for him. But it was also hard to see. Only her and Kagme knew because Sango told. And they had got pretty of a shock too. She was also so cold with him, showing no interest at all, but it was only a facade. In true she adored him. His smile which made her melt, his very well trained body and his cute baby face as she called it. Ayame had never seen it before, but after Sango mentioned it she could see it was true. Kagome was the one who was mostly shocked, she had allways thought of him to be an rude, ignorant and selfish guy, but she didn’t told Sango, she didn’t wanted to hurt her feelings. Besides they both thought Sango was interested in Miroku, but when they said that Sango allmost puked. ’No way!!‘ She had shouted. Miroku was a pervert and not so wonderful looking as Bankotsu. Far away and they had to agree.

Kagome had felt the need to confess too that she had a crush. Sango and Ayame had on the same second becomed very, very interested. So she had to tell. And guess who. No other than Hiten. Woaaah a shock. Hiten?! Okay, he was cute, but why not Inu Yasha? They was best friends. Exactly that was the reason had Kagome explained. They was friends. And friends just shouldn’t set the prove on their relation ship over the egde. Not even if Inu Yasha was interested. And she was right, but that it was Hiten still was a shock. But anyways. Right now she had other thoughts, like to get Bankotsu to shut up. She didn’t liked the way he teased her, jumping around making wierd noises, laughig and sqirming about how sweet she was when she blushed. What a jerk.

She raised and left. She didn’t cared about his puzzled look, but just took her stuff and left. She didn’t had time anyways. She had a deal with Kagome and Sango to come over tonight, for a girls night to talk about boys and so. So she had to take a bath first. And a nap so she could stay awake.

She placed her stuff on the disk in her room, and took out some cloths she would wear. A purple tank top, some white jeans with her names sake on, the flower Iris who meant Ayame. And a sweet jaket made of fake fur. In white ofcourse. Then she went to the bathroom and took out a towel and opened the hot water to spill in the bathtub. With that done she glided into the hot water. She had used her brothers shower cream with smelled mostly like lavender. She loved that smell. That made her feel comfortable. Her brothers smell. When finished she raised and dried herself. She walked to her room and took her clothes and put it on. She looked just great with her curly red hair pulled up in two braids hunging down from her sides. Now she was ready.

Bankotsu was 18 and had just got a car after making the exam. So he drove her over to the girls. This time it was on Sangos place. The girls was out to greet her and they hugged and kissed.

- Can I get one too? Bankotsu teased and smirked to Sango.

She blushed and nodded, kissed him on the cheek and quickly ran in. He then looked on Kagome, but she just stucked her tounge out and went inside to Sango. If he just knew. He laughed and winked to me before driving back home. I smiled and went inside. This was definelity going to be fun.
