“You can’t do this to me!” a fuming girl with long ink-black hair yelled at the man who now sat at his chair amused.

Kagome needed to be tamed and he knew it well enough that she would be down right stubborn. She knew as well that she had to do what he ordered. She was his subordinate and she had to follow his orders, no matter what the consequences.

He stared at his first real friend and grinned as he watched her give him the finger, flickering her blue and purple eyes at him, then swearing again so rapidly she would’ve made a sailor blush. Yes indeed she was a little spitfire.

“Inuyasha, you can’t do this to me,” she pleaded as she went around the table and stopped just in front of his chair.

Inuyasha smirked, but didn’t say anything. Whatever he said was the law around here. He wasn’t the black sheep and ruler of the underworld for nothing. He wasn’t a little hanyou everyone wanted him to be. No he was the shit around here. He was feared and hated, well mostly. Everyone obeyed his every order, and he wasn’t going to make an exception, even if she was his best friend.

“No”, the man in front of her ordered to her firmly. She winced from his bark and grew even more angry and determined.

She was his best friend for Kamis sake! How could he do this to her when he clearly knew she wanted to be his mate, not that stupid werewolf Kouga. What was he thinking, she screamed in her head. Bastard, Bastard, Bastard!

“Inuyasha”, she whined, pouting her lips in a way she knew made males fall at her beck.

He scratched his head, not even affected. Thrumming his fingers on his chin, he gave a thoughtful looked and said no again.

Plan B she thought. If Inuyasha wouldn’t listen to reason she would have to go to drastic measures.

Walking to his chair sensually, giving a little sway in her hips, she licked her lips and started toward him, trailing her fingers on his arm.

Inuyashas amber eyes flickered with surprise and then back to his cold molten color.

‘What was the bitch thinking?’

As if she knew what he was asking, she nipped his earlobe, careful not to accidentally pierce him with her fangs. He tensed and then gave out a strangled moan. She grinned to his ear. Perfect.

Removing her mouth from his ear, her finger trailed to his arms, feeling his muscles jump at her touch. ‘I got you’. Letting herself smile in victory, she continued her assault. She climbed into his lap and was surmised to see that Inuyasha had found his hands on her ass, grouping her into his lap. She stared at him to see his amber eyes stare right back at her with a smirk. His fangs peeked out of his mouth.

She stifled a groan that threatened to rise in her throat.

Kagome fought back the urge to just forget about the game plan, but she knew that business had to come first...this time. Slipping her tongue into his mouth she was surprised by the way he tasted and the way his warm tongue teased her into his mouth. This time she let out a very audible moan, that had Inuyashas ears twitching. Inuyashas tongue battled with hers as she lost herself in an ocean of lust. Teasing his tongue into her mouth, she tapped her tongue on her fang until it dropped some blood.

Inuyasha tensed. His mind went into a lust for blood, her blood as he sucked her tongue dry and then letting it go to assault her neck.

Kagome smiled in victory. She wouldn’t have to mate the disgusting Kouga, and Inuyasha would finally take her as his mate. His mate.

His tongue licked her creamy pale neck and he growled in approval, making Kagome shiver with need. Her neck was so soft, and just waiting for him to taste.

Kagome growled at him, arching her neck to him, submitting herself to him the way female vampires did when they mated for life.

She stared at his lust filled eyes and stared right back at her. Amber eyes flickered into her left purple eye and her blue right one. She was the last generation of her kind. She was a rare all right. Her beauty and her unique kind weren’t the only things that every being in the underworld wanted. She had the power to let out large amounts of energy and power to any one she touched. She truly was special, but something in his heart told him that she was just too young and sometimes acted like such a child. He needed a mate that would be stable enough to keep and good enough with the elders. With Kagomes tongue rolling curses, she would disappoint him in a mate, but that’s what he liked about her. Her ability to bring the fire in the coldest places. Just take a look at Sesshomaru.

Fighting all the fear that tried to lift up, she tried to feel strong and confidant. Hoping to the Kamis that he would realize that she wanted him and not the wolf.

She looked into his eyes and arched her willing neck to him, sealing the deal.

“Take me Inuyasha, I’m yours”.

Cold.

Silence filled the room, as if death creped into the room bringing despair to her heart. It wrapped around the two of them as if they knew the answer to his question.

Rubbing her back soothingly, his eyes turned serious and kind, leaving no traces or memory of his lust into the shadows. Her eyes grew stormy as he rejected her without any words. The silence was a sharp knife into her heart. He lifted her chin up and winced as her eyes began to drop with tears. She wasn’t looking at him, instead staring at the window above them that bathed her in the moonlight. The Moon seemed to know of her sorrow. He sighed and attempted to brush her tears away, but she quickly stopped his hands, slapping them away. Standing up from his lap, she missed the warmth of his lap as she noticed just how cold it was in the room.

“I’m sorry usagi, he paused, you’re already promised to another”, he said softly coaxing her into his arms to show her his sincerity, but she pushed him again and faced him.

Her eyes no longer showed tears, instead the hardheaded determination he loved about her.

“I am your chosen mate Inu”, she said to him in a loud firm voice.

He smiled as he noticed that she was growing tired and quickly growing upset by every moment that passed. She had used the name she gave him when she was rather pissed off at him, which ended with him apologizing with the help of Sango and Miroku.

“No.” he barked right at her, getting very irritated that she wouldn’t do as told, and instantly regretted his harshness. She didn’t seem to be bothered by it and kept on yelling at him with threats and compromise, that reminded him that this was not a debate.

“I am”, she said just as firmly.

“We were mates from the moment you took me in”, she said as her voice grew low and less firm as before.

Inuyasha leaned on the wall uncomfortably. He knew her feelings toward him, but he was just as stubborn and held his ground.

Turning around, he walked to his chair and turned to towards the window.

“Miroku will wake you up early in the morning to take you to your mate”. “You’re dismissed”, Inuyasha ordered stoically.

Kagome stomped her feet on the floor like a seven year old and yelled at him, more determined then ever to get him to reconsider.

“I am not going to be Kougas bitch!” she screamed.

“I don’t want to be his, I want to be with you, how hard is it to comprehend,” she barked at him, growing desperate and tired from her attempts of freedom.

“I know”, he said softly. His wall was breaking as he felt the air and how it screamed at how she strongly didn’t want to leave.

“But you have to go”, he said trailing it into silence.

“I was your mate Inuyasha”, he turned in his chair and growled in disapproval.

“No”, he said then pressed his intercom.

“Sango can you come in here and lead Miss Higurashi into her room”.

“Why woul-“ he cut off Sango as he turned it off again.

“You bastard”, she yelled at him.

“I’m yours”. “I won’t be mated forever with that fleabag” she screamed into the room as Sango and Miorku carried her out of Inuyasha office with a big bang.

He sighed and let out a breath of air, he didn’t know he had. Rubbing his temples, he wondered how she knew that she was his intended.

Kagome was going, even if Miroku had to drag her all the way.
