Author’s Note: I started this one night as strictly pure PWP slash pornography scene to share with Foxfur. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your outlook), while I succeeded in that goal, plot just refused to stay out of it and it evolved into a full fledged story. Shippo sat looking at the odd shaped rock he had found today. It looked like a bone shaped doggy treat and had Japanese characters on it. He read the inscription once again, ‘Wishbone’ it said.
‘Odd’ he thought ‘oh well at least it will make a good paper weight’
He set the rock down just as Kit came in and plopped down next to him on the couch.
“Hey old man” Kit said “did you miss me?”
Shippo leaned over and kissed the coyote half demon passionately.
“What do you think?” he said as they came up for air.
“I’ll take that as a yes” Kit said with a grin.
Shippo took on a serious look.
“Kit” he said “I’ll always miss you when you’re not here. You have become special to me.”
“Me special?” Kit laughed. “I’m not special. You are special. You’ve lived so long, known so many great people, I’m nobody.”
‘What is this about?’ Shippo wondered picking up the wishbone and idly fiddled with it.
“Take Kurama for instance” Kit continued “I saw the portrait you have of him from before. He’s handsome and the great ‘King of Thieves’.”
‘So that’s it’ Shippo thought hiding a smile by pretending to be interested in the bone. ‘He found out that Kurama and I were once lovers.’
“You’re jealous” Shippo said accusingly.
“No I’m not”
“Yes you are” Shippo said laughing. He held up the bone in his hand. “You know if this were real I could wish that the most handsome and sexiest canine spirits I’ve ever known would come here right now and make mad passionate love to us.”
He tossed the bone onto the table and didn’t notice the faint glow that emerged from it.
“But it’s not real and even if it was I wouldn’t need it because I have exactly what I want right here,” and with that he took Kit in his arms and kissed him.

Kit started to return the kiss when they were interrupted by the doorbell.
“Shit” Shippo swore “excuse me Kit.” The Kitsune started down the steps to the front entrance with Kit following behind. In the entrance they found a 17 year old red haired boy.
“Kurama” Shippo said “What brings you here?”
“Koenma actually” Kurama said with a grin “I’m playing his errand boy today.”
He held up a bottle he was carrying. “He asked me to deliver this and while I was heading this way stop by and ask if maybe your clan would be willing to work with Spirit World.”
“I see” Shippo said “please come in and we will discuss it over tea.”

They started back up the stairs to the common area.
“So what’s in the bottle?” Kit asked.
“Demon realm alchemy, it is a lust potion” Kurama said. “A couple of demons were using it to enslave humans. I’m taking it back to Spirit World for safe keeping.”
“Lust Potion, eh” Kit smiled waggling his eyebrows “can I borrow a cup?”
“No I’m afraid not” Kurama said smiling back. “You wouldn’t want it anyway; it is a product of a Demon of very evil intent. It doesn’t just stir up lust; it brings out the darkest and most evil kind of desires.”
“Oh.”

Kit and Kurama sat down in the living room while Shippo fetched the tea. Kurama put the bottle on the table next to the Wishbone.
“You of all people should understand that demons strongly desire independence” Shippo said bring in a tray of tea and setting it on the table. “It will cause many problems for my clan if we are seen being too cozy with Spirit World and the Spirit Detective particularly.”
Unnoticed by the three of them the dull glow around the Wishbone pulsated briefly.
“Yes I understand but…” Kurama started but then stopped and raised his hand to his temple.
“Are you feeling alright?” Shippo asked.
“Yes I’m just a little dizzy,” Kurama said reaching for his tea glass.

Just then the doorbell rang.
“I’ll get it” Kit said as Shippo attended Kurama. Running down the steps to the entrance he opened the door and almost slammed it again. Composing himself he addressed the visitors.
“Lord Sesshomaru, how nice to see you again.”
The Demon Lord gave Kit a look that had the coyote’s ears flattening.
“This is Kouga. He is the leader of the Mountain Wolf Tribe” Sesshomaru said indicating the wolf demon with him.
“We have business with Shippo. Take us to him.”
“Of course, right this way.” Kit said stepping aside.

Shippo and Kurama stood as they entered the common room.
“Lord Sesshomaru” Shippo said bowing slightly
“Shippo” the Demon Lord said “I believe you already know Kouga.”
“Yes, it is good to see you again Kouga-kun”
“I’m sure it is runt” Kouga answered with a surprisingly friendly smile.
Sesshomaru looked at Kurama and said “I see you are still associating yourself with humans and hanyous”
“That human is…” Shippo started irritatingly but was interrupted
“Shuichi Minamano” Kurama said bowing to Sesshomaru “it is a pleasure to meet the great Lord of the Western Lands”
Sesshomaru reluctantly returned the bow when Kit noticed the glow from the Wishbone. As he stared at it, it pulsated again.
“Did anyone notice…” he started to say when Kurama suddenly clutched at his chest and collapsed on the floor.

A white cloud of smoke enveloped Kurama. Lightning like discharges of spirit energy came out of the cloud illuminating the room.
“What is happening?” Sesshomaru said.
The smoke cleared and in place of the red haired youth was a tall silver haired Kitsune.

“Yoko!” Shippo said startled.
‘Gods, he is handsome,’ Kit thought to himself looking at the Yoko.
“Hey what’s going…Yoko?” Shippo’s son Toshiro, drawn by the sound of commotion, came into the room from the basement steps. He was bare-chested and sweaty from his workout in the gym. A fox hanyou, he was tall, slim and muscular like his father, in fact he looked very much like his father except that he had fox ears on top of his head as well as a fox tail; unlike his father though he had human legs.

Sesshomaru looked at the Yoko.
“I remember you well, King of Thieves,” he said. “I thought you were dead.”
“Well,” Yoko said with a sly grin. “The reports of my demise…you know how the line goes.”

“Yoko, what is going on?” Shippo asked.
“Well, I’ve been working with this potion…” Yoko started.
“Feh! I thought I detected a surge of demon energy here.”
The entire group turned to look at the figure in the balcony doorway.
“Inuyasha!?” The entire group said at once.

“How did you two follow me through the well?” Inuyasha said pointing at Sesshomaru and Kouga.
“I see dog turd is still as dense as I remember him,” Kouga laughed. “We live here idiot; you are the one that disappeared 500 years ago.”

Inuyasha looked confused and started into the room. Just as he was about to make a remark back to the Wolf Demon, he bumped into the table. The bottle of lust potion fell over and rolled toward the edge.
“Look out!” Yoko yelled reaching for the bottle but it was too late. The bottle fell off and shattered on the floor. A dense pink smoke filled the room and all the canines coughed and choked.
