Note: this Fan fiction makes the assumption that the band stays together for several years. (Which I know is not canon) Also it covers Shippo on the verge of puberty.
I just like the idea of Kagome being the one to introduce Shippo to sexuality.

Shippo was changing.
Well he’d always been changing, because he was a shape shifter… but this was different…

“Maybe I could bring the encyclopedia from home, or a medical text book?”
She pictured that in her mind… and could see a confused and probably scared looking Shippo.
The others had looks on their faces indicating they agreed.
Inuyasha commented
“One of us is going to have to have a face to face talk with him about it.”
Kagome sighed… She loved Shippo almost as if he was her son.
“If none of you have the guts to do so-“she considered saying SIT but remembered he was trying to be nice.
“No Inuyasha, I’ll do it I’ll have a talk with him.”
