In a small clearing........

"Come back here BITCH!" InuYasha's ears perked as her heard those words. "You are mine to be taken... How dare you run from me!" This time Kagome, Sango and Miroku heard them too. That voice sounded very familiar. "Sesshomaru" InuYahsa growled. They could hear a woman screaming.They ran in the direction of the screams.

"You will accept me as your master , You will be my bitch. When I am through with you, you will die like the rest of your family" Sesshomaru screamed at the form in front of him."I am sorry lord. Please dont hurt me anymore. I beg of you I will do anything." She pleaded. With that Sesshomaru started to beat her fiercly. "You beg of me" he snarled "Soon you will beg of me for more" Sesshomaru sniffed the air.He turned and looked at the bushes the group was standing behind. "Brother you fool, have you come to save this wench?"

"Inuyasha...can you smell her?" Kagome asked. "Yes she is human and has not been taken yet by my brother." "Save her ... PLEASE!!." Kagome pleaded with InuYasha. " Feh....Fine" He mumbled as he headed into the clearing to face his brother. InuYasha was in shock to see how badly the young woman had been brutalised. "Brother What has she done to you?" "It is a question of what she wouldnt" replied Sesshomaru with a sneer forming on his face. " I will take and and then kill her. Do you care to try and stop me little brother?" Then InuYasha had an idea (it always worked on him when he and Kagome bickered I think she called it reverse phycology...she always wins ,damn her) He thought to hlf.\lf." Sesshomaru when have you taken a liking to stupid humans?" InuYasha chuckled.Sesshomaru cast an evil stare at Inuyasha "I destest those filthy beings ." as he kicked the poor bloodied girl at his feet." Then why fight so hard to make her submit?" " I was merely teaching the little wench a lesson in respect" and let loose with another kick to her ribs. InuYasha tried to keep calm as he watched blood poor out of her mouth. He was ready to battle Sesshomaru when Kagome piped in " I think Sesshomaru prefers human girls, They are more beautiful" . Sesshomaru lunged at Kagome pinning her to a tree by her throat (he knew she was right about the beauty) "You dirty whore what makes you humans so beautiful?" "See look now he want's to take me" she said with a grin. Seshsomaru dropped Kagome and spat on her "Your precious half breed and all your friends wont always be there to protect you" As he walked toward the bloodied mass laying on the ground whimpering. "As for you, next time we meet I WILL let you live, only to be in your own personal hell with me as your keeper." He kicked her one more time and left mumbling " Both those whores will get their's. I will see to that!" only InuYasha heard those words but they were enough to let him know this was serious.

Miroku walked over to the woman laying on the ground trembling in fear. She could not see, her eyes had been swollen shut and bruised. He reached out to touch her and she screamed "Please no more", getting the attention of the others "Please I am here to help you he said" wanting to get out of the area in fear Sesshomaru would return."I am Miroku, I am a monk I will not harm you." Her body relaxed slightly, "monk" she whispered softly before falling unconcious.

"Oh my gods" Kagome said in a sympathetic voice. "How could anyone hurt another so?" "She has a jewl shard "Kagome stated in confusion as she removed the shard from a necklace around the girls throat. The group looked at her and noticed she looked different. Her hair was an odd color even though it was matted and red from the blood in it, It just looked different. It looked almost pink. Her clothes were torn merclessly. They could see numerous cuts, bruises and giant knots on hedy. dy. InuYasha removed his red covering and placed it over the girl who was now in Miroku's arms."InuYasha do you think she'll live?" Kagome asked "I dont know but we best get her Kaede quickly"

As the group reached Kaede's hut, She rushed to them knowing something was wrong. Shippo was following close behind, He could smell the blood and sorrow. "What has happened my children?" Kaede asked in a concerned voice. Miroku stepped forward holding an unconcious battered body in his arms. "Oh my" Kaede gasped "bring her inside and lay her down at once." they were headed toward the hut when Kaede asked "What happened to her?" "My brother tried to beat her into submission and she refused to go" "What a brave soul she has" Kaede sighed "Now leave I have lot's to do here...Kagome please bring me water from the well" Kagome nodded and went to get the water.

*outside*
"She doesn't smell like any other human I've ever smelled" "what do you mean?" Miroku asked InuYasha "She had a hint of fruit on her almost like kagome when she bathes and uses that flower stuff"

Three weeks later............

The group returned to Kaede's after battling many spider demons. Gaining 3 shards in the fight. Kaede steped outside to greet them. "How is she Kaede" Kagome asked. "She is still in a state of shock.....strage she keeps whispering "monk".Would that be you Miroku?" Miroku let out a soft smile "She said that to me right before she lost conciousness" "I will tell her you have come then" Kaede left to tell the young woman her monk was awiating her.

"She remembers me" Miroku said with a smug look on his face. "shut up" cryed Sango as she hit him over the head.

"She is ready to see you Miroku" Kaede yelled from the entrance to her hut.Miroku walked nervously toward the hut. When he entered he couldl hil his jaw drop as he feasted upon her beauty. She was healed now with only tender spots on her body. When she stood he felt his breath leave his body and could not take any in. Her hair was the color of gold, Never had he seen hair of gold, not even on a demon. Silver yes Gold?....No. It hung down to her waist in ringlets. (how could her hair curl like that he wondered) Her skin was a pale white like snow. Her lips red as cherries. They looked so inviting. Those eyes ...wow.( they're like two emeralds staring back at me). Her body looked as if it were molded from the gods themself's. Breast's sat high and round her body then curved into a small ring only to expand again at her hips. "Are...Are you human" he asked while staring in awe.All she whispered was "monk" before she threw herself into Miroku's arms and started to sob.He ran his fingers through her hair trying to soothe her as he whispered to her "It's alright now....shhhhh.....It's alright". He lifted her into his arms like a child and sat down on her cot and rocked her slowly as she cried herself to sleep."Im holding an angel" Miroku spoke quietly to him self.

"I hope everthing is alright, He's been in there quite a while" Sango asked curiously.For once no one thought the worst of Miroku, they were too concered about the girl. "Is everything alright Miroku?" Kaede asked as she entered the hut. Her heart softened when she saw the monk for the first time in new eyes (I knew he had a good heart). He was still rocking the girl gently stroking her hair and whispering "I'll keep you safe". "Kaede is she really human?" he whispered."yes she is" was her reply."Why does she look so different?...Why does her hair and body feel like fine silk?" "I dont know my child, we will have to wait for her to wake to ask." With that Kaede layed on her mat and drifted off to sleep.

Miroku was feeling tired himself and decided to lay the beautiful, nameless angel down so he could go sleep outside with his friends. She stirred a little when he layed her down, so he stroked her hair to bring her into a deep slumber once more. As he stood up to leave he felt a small warm hand on his wrist."Please monk lay with me, You make me feel safe". His heart swelled with pride at those words. "Anything for you my angel" He layed down beside her placing one arm around her waist when she turned into him. Miroku fell asleep with her hot breath on his chest and his hands stroking her hair.

The next morning.......
