Summary: Kagome, a talented painter in her mid twenties has achieved her goal and sells her work at an exclusive New York gallery. Life is good, although she mostly spends time alone. Can the millionaire Touga Takashi break through her barriers and save her from her nightmares?? Inutaisho/Kagome.

Prologue:
It was one thing to believe in ghosts, another to actually see them. Kagome had discovered, though that the kicker was whether or not she knew the ghost. In the small village of Clayton, New York, where she had lived until almost two years ago, she'd had known at least most of the inhabitants, including the dead ones.
She tried to look past the translucent faces in the crowd but when suddenly a ghost stopped and started speaking with her she just had to react. She had never been sharp enough to play it cool and pretend nothing had happened. No, she had just had to react, and before long people were giving her those looks that said they suspected she was losing her marbles.
One day she had packed her things and moved before they began pointing at her on the street. Yeah, the city was better and warmer too. When she started seeing ghosts, her internal heat regulator seemed to malfunction. Always feeling chilled these days, had always the past two years since she had started seeing ghosts. For example: August 15: felt cold. Yeah, sure.
