Summary: When Kagomes parents die she and her foster sister Emeline move in with Kagomes brother Souta in New York. They have to survive in the ghetto and get involved with powerful and dangerous people. A story about love, hate and tragedy.

Prologue
When I was four we moved from Japan to America. If I am right than my father got a new job in Seattle so we had to move here. The first time was hard but we managed to fit in.
After celebrating my seventh birthday I discovered my extremely strong miko abilities. I showed my brother the same day and we promised each other not to mention it to anyone.
Seven years later my brother turned 18 and left us. He said that he had to get away from our father and mother. He couldn't listen to their lies anymore.
One year later my parents adopted Emeline. We didn't mind that she was a demon, in fact we were happy. It didn't take long and we two were inseparably.
On our 17 birthday even my brother paid us a visit for a few days. After he disappeared again our parents behavior became more aggressive than before.
So the days past by as our 18 birthday did. Then the news reached us that our father and mother died in a car accident. The worst of it was the fact that we had so many debts that we had to leave the house.
Fortunately my brother was so kind and told us that he would love to take us in. So here we are now waiting for our brother exited and sad at the same time wondering what our future will bring.

- Souta 24 years, human, 5,7 height, short black hair, he left home when he was 18 and moved to Seattle with a friend, he knows how to survive in the streets of the ghetto
- Sango 21 years, human, 5,6 height, from Japan, owns a bar with Miroku
- Miroku 23 years, human, 5,7 height, from Japan, owns a bar with Sango
- Inuyasha ?? years, half dog demon, 5,7 height, from Japan, reigns the southwest, has a too big mouth
- Sesshomaru ?? years, silver dog demon, 6,0 height, from Japan, reigns the north and northwest, known as cold and emotionless
- Touga ?? years, silver dog demon, 6,1 height, from Japan, reigns the west alone only the outer parts are reigned by his sons, after the death of his second wife Izauyi he became cold and ruthless
- Kouga ?? years, wolf demon, 5,9 height, from Europe, reigns the south and some parts of the east
- Naraku 30 years, half demon, 5,9 height, from ??, reigns the east
- Kikyo 20 years, human miko, 5,5 height, from America, her motives are unknown
