Kagome took in her surroundings and turned her face to the clean air. The trees moved listlessly in the gentle breeze, there were no planes overhead, no blasting of car horns, no yelling. It was so peaceful, for a moment. Inuyasha crashed through the bushes, cursing. She frowned for a moment then shook her head, smiling. He was so graceful at times but rarely he could rival her in the klutziness area. He dropped her bag on the ground and pulled a few twigs out of his long silver hair. “Damn it. Kagome, what are we doing here?” She simply smiled and grabbed her bag. “You’ll find out.” He glared at her for a moment then walked to a tree and jumped into it. “I’m going to take a nap, call me when you are ready to tell me what the hell you are up to.” She pulled a hand through her hair and let out a long suffering sigh. He could be such a jerk sometimes. She walked to the middle of the field and opened her bag. It had taken her a long time to work up the courage to do this and she wouldn’t chicken out just because he was being a idiot. She started to pull out the contents of the bag and when she had everything set up, the sun was just beginning to set. Perfect. She slipped on the silk robe she had bought last week and stripped herself naked under it. She took a deep breath, “Inuyasha? It’s ready.” ‘And so am I.’ she thought.
