Loyalty to a friend

Walking down the forest path that sunny day was only Kagome and Inuyasha. Miroku, Sango and Shippo had gone back to Sango’s village to go and pay a visit to the grave and once again repair Sango’s weapon. It had several cracks in it so the trio weren’t expected to return any time soon.

“Hey Inuyasha!? Do you think we could take a break? My feet are killing me.” Kagome Whined

“Your always asking to take a break, at the rate were going Naraku will find the rest of the jewel and have time to build 50 castles!!” Inuyasha exasperated.

“Fine then.. But can you at least carry me?” Kagome questioned while giving her best puppy face.

Inuyasha just looked at her then faced towards the path.

“Please Puppy?.. You know you want to” Kagome said grabbing his arm and resting her head against his shoulder. Inuyasha looked at her head that was now under his arm and she had moved his arm around her shoulders with her arm around his waste. Kagome then looked up at him and gave him her best puppy face.

‘I hate that face!! She can get away with murder with her lips pouted out like that, her gorgeous brown eyes sparkling…. And she knows it to.’ Inuyasha thought

“Puppy? Since when do you refer to me as Puppy? Inuyasha said confused

“Since me and Sango were talking about nicknames people have and stuff and then I decided that you needed one from me.” Kagome smiled at him

With out saying a word Inuyasha just huffed shaking his head and got down to his knee’s as Kagome excitedly ran over to him and hugged him from behind. Pulling her legs tightly around his waste he began running at full speed.

“Alright lets go!” Inuyasha said running straight ahead hand on the hilt of Tetsusaiga the other still occupied with Kagome‘s thigh.

Moving into the clearing Inuyasha stopped, he started to growl as he smelt Sesshomaru nearing into the clearing. Inuyasha quickly lowered Kagome to the ground then moving her behind him.

Even though Inuyasha and Sesshomaru had come to a truce until Naraku’s threat was gone, Inuyasha still held a little bit of grudge against him.

As Sesshomaru appeared form the forest Kagome could sense another two shards approaching them.

“ Oh great!! I hope that’s not who I think it is because he’s the last person we need right now. Yepp that’s Koga alright I know those shards anywhere.

I hope Inuyasha can get through this with out freaking out on anyone.. If that’s even possible.” Kagome thought

Waving over at Sesshomaru Kagome greeted him “ Hello Sesshomaru, long time no see!”

Kagome had become quite fond of the dog demon.

“Yes, it has Kagome, I hope my brother hasn’t been to much of a bother to you” Sesshomaru smirked at his brother


“What are you doing here Sesshomaru?” Inuyasha barked out at his brother

“ That Inuyasha is none of your business.” Sesshomaru answered calmly

As the brothers continued to argue over the fact a dark figure appeared in the clearing. It looked like an old witch. She was wearing a block robe with a hood that covered her face.

Inuyasha then turned his attention away from Sesshomaru and concentrated on the real threat.

“Who are you witch?!” Inuyasha said harshly

“Ahh I see I have finely met the great Dog Demons son’s. I have heard much about you two, apparently you both poses great powers that have been passed down from your father.” The sound of the old witch’s voice was crackly and not welcoming

“I’ve got no time for short chat lady hand over the jewel shards!” With that Inuyasha ran at her claws ready.

But before he reached the witch flicked her wrist and he was thrown back into a tree.

“Inuyasha!” Kagome screamed as she ran over to him. He seemed to be alright just a bump on the head but it had knocked him out it seemed.

Looking back at Sesshomaru, Kagome could see him shacking his head. Kagome cradled Inuyasha in her lap as she watched as Sesshomaru withdrew Tokijin.

“ I do not know what business you have with me or my brother but I suggest you leave.. Unless you want to lose your life?” Sesshomaru said walking towards the old woman

“You boys have no manners what so ever do you?! I’ve had enough of this nonsense now give me the jewel shards!!” The old witch then dived towards Kagome and Inuyasha

An inch before the woman could have touched Kagome Inuyasha snapped into action slicing off one of the witch’s arm. Breathing heavily Inuyasha then got to his feet.

“My Arm!!! You Dirty Half Breed!! I just got it back and now look what you’ve done!!” The witch’s eyes then turned a crimson red and she dived for Inuyasha.

Sesshomaru seeing this as his chance drove Tokijin through her.
Once Sesshomaru had put his sword away a strange dust feel over the two dog demons and with the witch’s last words she spoke some foreign language.

Just then a tornado came out of the forest and right up to the group of three.

“Yo! How’s it going Kagome?” Koga asked as he walked up to her and gave her a hug

“Umm pretty good thank you” Kagome blushed

Inuyasha then broke the two up.

“Ok Koga every gets the point that you missed her now if you would please get you nasty ass hands off of her!! Inuyasha screamed

Everyone just looked at him shocked, right then Inuyasha realized his mistake. Kagome looked at him with confused eyes and was about to say something when Inuyasha and Sesshomaru both screamed in agony. Both brothers were brought to their knees whining and whimpering like little puppies or something.

Kagome and Koga were about to go over when Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were surrounded with a bright light. Covering their eyes Kagome and Koga stepped back.

But when the light faded It wasn’t Inuyasha and Sesshomaru on their knee’s but two dogs! Both dogs had a beautiful silver/white coat, and golden eyes. But one had the markings that belonged to Sesshomaru and the other had around his neck the necklace that was Inuyasha‘s.

“Koga please tell me that I’m not looking at this!” Kagome said panicked

“Where’s Inuyasha and Sesshomaru? This can’t be them! Even if it was how? Wait.. That witch thing she did something didn’t she? And that dust oh no.. well whatever this is I hope it’s reversible.” Kagome thought

Koga slowly approached the dogs giving them a good look.

“Kagome did anything go on here before I arrived?” Koga asked raising an eye brow

Kagome’s eyes were starting to water as she explained what had happened to Koga. Koga looked at the dogs in concentration trying to figure out what was going on.

As Koga did this Kagome went up to the dog the represented Inuyasha. Tears started to trail down her checks as she kneeled down in front of the dog. Bringing her hand up to pet him she began to massage his ears just like she would have if it were the normal Inuyasha. Hearing him purr she hugged the dog with everything she had.

“Inuyasha!” Kagome sobbed into the chest of this dog that was thought to be Inuyasha

Koga then went up to the crying girl and lifted her off of Inuyasha.

“Koga what do we do?” Kagome asked looking up at Koga with big teary eyes

“Well I’ve heard of a witch demon that has been known to do this. But I’m not really sure how you are to reverse the spell. So I think we should head back to my pack and ask the elders.. Does that sound good Kagome? Koga said while tilting Kagome’s chin up and looking into her teary eyes

Nodding her head Kagome followed Koga to his pack with Inuyasha and Sesshomaru behind them.

[ back at Koga’s cave…]

Koga walked them past the entrance down one of the tunnels into the cave. Kagome stayed close to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru as they kept going deeper and deeper into the cave.

Upon reaching a room lit with torches, there were a few of the elders from Koga’s tribe.
“My I have a word with you?” Koga said walking up to what seemed the oldest of them all

“Yes My dear.. Just give me a second these old bone aren’t what they used to be” The old wolf demon kindly said

Once the old woman got to her feet Koga lend them to one of the more privet rooms.

“Now what seems to be the problem Koga? I see you brought some friends.” the woman nodded her head to Kagome and the two dogs

Koga looked at Kagome asking if she would rather have him explain the situation, Kagome nodding her head in a sure yes let Koga tell the story.

As Koga explained to the old woman what happened and what information that they wanted to know Kagome lazily scratched Inuyasha’s and Sesshomaru’s ears.

The old woman looked up at the four and then looked at the two white dogs.

“I see. Well I have heard of a witch that had the power to do this but did not know that she would be in these regions.” Lowering her eyebrows in concentration she continued

“No you want to know how to change them now right? Well I have heard that when this has been done it is because of either the one that cast it had a deep hatred and thought that they should be punished, or they are not deserving of what they have.” The old wolf demon sighed and look up at Koga and Kagome

“I have also heard that many have not been change back because in order to break the spell they need a woman of pure heart and is willing to give there virginity to them… well that is all that I know I’m sorry if I couldn’t help you to out.” with that the woman left the room

When the wolf demon finished Kagome had stopped rubbing the dogs ears. She couldn’t believe what had just happened! What would they do? .. they need a woman of pure heart and is willing to give there virginity to them…

Kagome looked up at Koga, he was watching Kagome trying to figure out what she might be thinking.

“That may be true Kagome but you also have to be willing no one would be forcing you to do anything!” Koga said with worried eyes

“But I would be willing. Inuyasha is my best friend I’ve known him for so long and I know that if I was in his situation he would do it for me… and Sesshomaru has saved my life many times in the heat of a battle when others couldn’t help me.” Kagome then stood up

“ I’ll do it Koga.. We can’t leave them like this! They deserve to have the Real lives back.” Kagome finished

“I don’t know Kagome, there full grown dogs and your just a virgin. What if something went wrong? What if they were to rough? And would you really be able to mate with two dogs at once? Koga questioned

Koga really hoped not because he still cared for Kagome vary much and if something were to happen to her. Even knowing what she would be going to do! But also if she did she wouldn’t be able to be his.. Because she would be theirs.

“Kagome if your serious then I’m willing to stay and help you through it.” Koga face was serious as hell when he said this

Kagome nodded her head, Koga then lead them to his sleeping chamber to rest for the night. He knew that if Kagome was going to do this she was going to need a full nights rest. Koga Walked up to the bed in the middle of the room, as he started to remove his amour Inuyasha started to growl.

“What are you growling at mutt!? You’re the one who’s mating her tomorrow.” Koga said as he continued to remove his amour until all he had on was his fur skirt

As Kagome heard this her looked at Koga with sad eyes. “Koga you know that we could never be together anyways? Right?” Kagome asked

Turning around he walked over to Kagome stepping over Inuyasha and held Kagome’s hands. “ Yes I know, I have for a long time but it doesn’t mean that I can just through away all my feelings for you away and never think about you again.. Its not that easy.” Koga said as he looked into her eyes

“I’ve seen the way you two look at each other, I knew that in the long run you would pick him over me.” Koga finished then letting go of her hands

“Then why are you willing to help me? Its not exactly something that a priestess would do… let alone make someone else help and have them witness it.” Kagome said

Kagome walked over to the large bed and sat down, Sesshomaru jumped up with her placing his head on her lap.

“Its one thing to help Inuyasha because I’ve known him so long and I do have feelings for him but Sesshomaru too? I’m sure some people will be questioning my pureness after this.” Kagome half heartedly laughed

Kagome stroked Sesshomaru’s head as Koga then sat beside her on the bed.

“well lets get some sleep shall we?” Kagome said as she got under some of the furs.

Inuyasha had slept on her right while Sesshomaru slept on her left.

Koga gave Kagome a confused look and asked her “ Are you going to sleep with your clothes on?”

“Well I’m certainly not going to sleep in the nude with three guys in the room!” Koga said with a shocked face

“Well considering you’ll be mating two of them and the other will be talking you through it I don’t see a problem.” Koga said
