Lost Time and Bloody Betrayals
Disclaimer: Don't own or profit from Inuyasha or Yuyu Hakusho, nor any of the characters. This disclaimer will go for all the chapters contained within this story.
A/N: This is a Inu/YYH crossover, the pairing will be a Kag/Kurama/Yomi. The story will contain death, some gore and major angst at one point in time. This is your warning, so no flames later about cruelty. The characters will have a happy ending after we have decided they have been tortured enough!!
Also, I might not be able to update as quickly as I usually do. I am working with my partner in crime, the lovable Queen of Darkness herself, Ryukotsusei. So you can expect alot of anguish and misunderstandings. This is something we are putting together and hope you will enjoy!
Chapter One
Kagome placed several packs of ramen inside the large yellow bag, stuffing it full with what she would need. She wasn't sure when she'd be back again this time around. Inuyasha hadn't wanted her to come this time, complaining as usual. Stating that they were so close to finally completing the jewel and defeating Naraku. Now that all the shards had been located, it was only a matter of time. Inuyasha was sure to be waiting at the well on the other side. She was suppose to have been back over an hour ago.
Hopefully, he wouldn't come across and rush her again like last time. He seemed to be on edge lately for some reason. Her guess it had something to do with Kikyo. The woman had shown up during their last battle saving Inuyasha's life. The look of wonderment on his face had left her heart aching. It wasn't like she was totally useless, she had her moments. Lately the hurt she usually felt with Inuyasha was slowly dimming. She wasn't sure if it was because she was becoming numb to the pain or if her feelings were lessening for him.
He still planned to go to hell with her after Naraku was destroyed. He'd yet to come out and say he'd changed his mind. So she could only assume that he still meant to go with her. Her outlook for having an ending relationship with the hanyou didn't look to good. Part of her heart was starting to accept that fact. It had been almost two years since she'd gone through the well. Next month she would be seventeen finally, another year older. When would her journey be complete?
Souta walked into the kitchen snapping her out her reverie, "Tell mom I will be back in a few weeks okay. I'm not sure when so I can't give you a date." Her brother nodded heading for the cabinets looking for something to snack on. She sighed and placed the large bag on her back, the weight threatening to snap her spine. Next time she would have to pack lighter.
She ran out the door heading for the well house. The quiver was placed on her back as she got to the well, both leaning against the wood. With bow in hand she leapt over the edge feeling the magic washing over her. The familiar blue lights appeared around her comforting her as she heading back to her friends. Panic filled her when she didn't touch down after a few seconds. The magic around her began to change suddenly, starting to take on a darker shade of blue. The tingling sensation soon felt like needles poking into her skin. For several seconds the well was completely pitch black leaving her blind. It got brighter as the minutes passed swirling as flickers of red appeared.
Her head began to ache, her stomach rolling with the feeling. The magic around her was a blood red color, dark and forboding. Panic filled her not sure of what was happening around her. Her stomach pitched forward as her feet finally hit the ground. She fell to her knees on impact, the contents from lunch coming back up to say hello.
Only a single bird flew overhead, her call went unanswered. 'Great, Inuyasha isn't waiting on me. Guess I have to climb out by myself now.' Her hands searched for the vines, odd there was only a few now. Had Inuyasha done some gardening? Placing her bow in her mouth she started to climb out, it was hell on her arms.
She groaned as she yanked herself over the edge finally, "Dammit, next time I leave all the food home." Her hand went to the back of her neck, rubbing it. The bag was placed on the ground. Her senses suddenly told her she wasn't alone, her head snapped up. Several youkai were sitting about twenty feet away all looking at her with confused looks. "Shit!"
Her eyes took in the surrounding area, the forest was gone. The only tree within miles was the goshinboku. Where had the well taken her, what time? How far in the past had she gone? One of them stood up, panic filled her. She spun around swinging her legs back over and jumped.
"Fuck!" She screamed when her feet hit the bottom causing pain to shoot up her legs. She started jumping up and down, "Come on work damn you. You piece of shit, don't you stick me here." Laughter was heard above her, her head looked up. Two men were leaning over watching her, one with a smile the other with confusion. She began jumping again trying to get it to activate, "You stupid well."
"Come out of there now." The one with long silver hair demanded, peering down at her.
"No, you must think I'm stupid. I'm not coming out so you can kill me." She sighed in defeat, what had she done to deserve this? Why had the well malfunctioned? A scream tore out her mouth when the youkai jumped down to land beside her.
