I’ll Be Missing You
Chapter One
“Inu Yasha!”
Kagome screamed as the handsome hanyou threw her over his shoulder and jumped into the well.
“Shut up baka! You have been here long enough, it is time for you to come back and help us find the shards so quit struggling or I am going to end up dropping you!”
Inu Yasha all but barked into Kagome’s ear.
After trying to get free one more time with out any luck. Kagome finally gave up and just relaxed on his muscular shoulder.
When they finally made it through and out of the well Kagome was taken aback when everyone was there waiting for her with weird smiles on their faces. In the little time she stood there she noticed that they’re demeanor was quite impetuous and well kind of creepy.
“Okay, someone better give what is going on?”
Kagome asked but the only answer she was given was blank stares and crickets chirping.
“Okay then guys, don’t tell me I don’t care.”
Kagome huffed with a dangerous scowl upon her face. Turning slowly away from the rest of the group Kagome began to walk way.
“KAAAAGGGGOOOOMMMMEEEE! Please don’t be mad at me!”
Shippo yelled as he wriggled out from behind Sango where she held the little kit captive. Bounding into Kagome’s arms Shippo spilled everything, earning him dirty looks from everyone else.
“They…they told me not to tell you but…but if you…you are going to be mad…it…it wouldn’t be fair…to us cause…cause we…bought you presents…and…and we…we made Kaede’s hut…hut pretty with…with flowers…all…all for you!”
With that said Shippo buried into Kagome’s arms and cried. That is when it fully hit her, today was her 17th birthday.
“ I can’t believe I forgot my own birthday.”
Kagome said in utter embarrassment with a deep shade of red taking over her whole face, neck, and the top of her breasts.
“Damn you baka! Why did you have to go and ruin everything ?!”
Inu Yasha yelled as a growl came from deep inside his chest.
“Its okay guys, you should be happy he told me, I hate surprises.”
Kagome said with grumbles of disappointment coming from behind her.
Making their way back to Kaede’s hut they didn’t talk much except for Kagome reassuring Shippo that it was okay and that she wasn’t mad.
Opening the door to the old hut Kagome’s breath was taken away.
