Sweet Vengeance?
A/N: No, I am not a Kagome hater…I just prefer Kikyou and InuYasha then her with InuYasha. Be warned. This IS a Lemon FanFic. Just a heads up. If you love seeing Kagome and InuYasha together and really hate Kikyou, why are you even reading this? I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA either. Chapter 1: Sweet Vengeance
She sat there, so agitated with InuYasha’s behavior lately. * It was because of Kikyou…Their last encounter. Something happened with them, something that I need to know. Maybe I could calm him down. *
She began to bite her fingernails looking around noticing everyone else had already fallen asleep, except for InuYasha.
He was sitting in the Goshinboku tree, looking at the sky. He looked like he was in deep thought. * He’s probably thinking of Kikyou…I have to do something. And I will, in the morning. * She looked at him one more time before snuggling into her sleeping bag, falling asleep with the others.
He kept looking at the cloudy night sky thinking about what he had said to her earlier.
********Flashback*******
“Kikyou….” He took her in his arms; the only heat generating was from him. * She’s still as cold as a dead body…I need to help her.. *
She just stared at him, feeling a lump gather in her throat. All she was able to say was his name, slowly with each syllable. “Inu….Ya..sha.”
“Oh, Kagome…how I’ve missed you…” he said, whispering in her ear. A tear then rolled down her cheek, then fell onto InuYasha’s Robe of the Fire rat, when he realized his terrible mistake.
He could feel her fighting her way away from his grasp, another tear rolling down her cheek. “What….what’d you just call me?” That lump went away.
“I’m sorry, Kikyou…it’s just I’ve been with Kagome so much that…her name is engraved in my head…”
Her love and passion she had for him at that moment totally disappeared. “You know…it’s sad that you can’t even remember my name, especially since everything we’ve gone through…if her name in engraved in your head, why don’t you just go make her your mate, and leave me alone?!” With that, she turned around and began to walk away into the darkness, her shikigami trailing behind her.
“No! Kikyou! Wait!” He felt his eyes swell up with tears after he ran after her, finding himself running into air. She had already disappeared. “Kik…you..”
******End Flashback****
He still sat in the tree in that same position until morning when Kagome thought that is was the time to talk to him.
“Um…InuYasha?” She said softly, just in case he was still angry. She guessed right..
He looked down at her with harsh, cold, eyes, figuring that was the only way he could hide the sadness in his face. “Keh…What’ya want?” Her heart sank. “I…I…wanted to know what happened with you and Kikyou..”
He cocked an eyebrow. “What, are ya writing a book? It’s none of your damn business!” he said coldly.
She took a deep breath and pointed a finger at him.
He knew it was coming.
“OSWARII!” He faceplanted into the ground. “What did you do that for, wench?”
“First of all, don’t call me wench! Second of all, I just wanted to know so I could help make you feel better! Goddamn, you stubborn hanyou! I’m sick of you taking your anger out on me when all I try to do is help! I’m going back to my time for now!” She gathered all her things and hopped into the well, while he didn’t even make an attempt to stop her.
“No one, can help me with the way I feel about her, except her. Kikyou…”
