::I do not own InuYasha, or any of the characters (although Im sure I speak for alot of people when I say I wish I did) ^^::

Kagome rested her hands on the well and took a breath then spun around on her heel, "InuYasha.. sit boy." she said and smiled sheepishly. "I'm coming back in a few days InuYasha, I have to study for my tests." she said as she put her backpack on, "See you later!" and with those last words, she jumped down the well.

"Why does she do this to me.." InuYasha grumbled as he pushed himself to his feet, "Feh, 2 days is all she gets, any later and I'm going in there and bringing her back.." he crossed his arms over his chest and sighed. "Well well InuYasha, Kagome gone back home I presume?" said a leachrous monk, walking out of the bushes with a bright red handprint on his cheek. He coughed and put his hands in his sleeves and walked up to InuYasha, "Well obviously.." InuYasha muttered as he fell to the ground, landing with a thud. "She always does this! Right when we're near to Naraku. She leaves, what could be more important than this!?"

"Well obviously these 'tests' she has are InuYasha." Sango said as she stepped out of the bushed, glaring over at Miroku, "She said she needs to pass these things to be able to get a job when she is older... I wonder what her time is like.." Sango gazed off into the distance and sighed, imagining her own world, but was quickly brought back to reality, "It's nothing great, a few giant buildings, wires here, paved land there.." InuYasha spoke as he closed his eyes and crossed his legs, "Her time is boring. And it smells bad there, I noticed when I look up at her sky, you cant see the stars, but there is no wind, so there are no clouds... but the stars are hidden."

Miroku sighed, "Maybe in the future the stars die?" InuYasha gave him a look, "Thats ridiculous.. stars can't die!"

The discussion of whether stars can die or not went on until Sango had stopped the mindless bickering.

Back home, Kagome walked up the stairs leading to her room. "Feels wonderful to be home..." she murmured as she pushed her door open, 'Ahh.. my room.' she thought then walked over to her bed and flopped down on it, hugging her pillow, taking in the smell, 'Hm,... kind of smells like InuYasha..' she thought then her eyes open, "What am I thinking!? Thats a stupid thought.." she sat up and sighed. "What's a stupid thought?" asked someone at the door. She turned around and saw Eri there, "Eri!" Kagome got off her bed and welcomed her friend, "Where are the others?" Kagome asked as she poked her head to the side to see if anyone was coming up the stairs, "Ah, I'm not sure, I just thought I'd come visit. Your grandfather said you had shin splints. Running too much Kagome?" Eri asked as she handed over some bamboo guards for her legs, "Hojou gave those to me, to give to you, apparently they have some healing attribute to help with the splints." Kagome smiled weakly and took them from her, "Oh.. how thoughtful, but I'm fine really."

The two chatted for a while, then Eri offered Kagome to come to a study group with her and some other students from their school.

"I'll help you get ready for the tests Kagome, don't you worry!" Eri said happily, and Kagome cupped her hands, "Really!? You'd do that for me? Thank you Eri, really needed this." Finally they arrived a large house, Kagome wasn't sure whose, it couldn't have been Eri's unless she moved while she was in the Feudal Era for a while. The door opened and two girls poked their heads out, "Eri! And.. whose this? Oh, Kagome. Yes yes come in, but shh, you have to be quiet."

They walked in and a bunch of school girls were sitting in a circle, giggling and gossiping. "Um. Eri, are you sure this is a study group?"

"Study group? Why would this be a study group?" Kagome's hopes were given up, she was going to fail these tests horribly. "I'm sorry Kagome, but word got out about your bad ass boy friend, how's he doing? Any better or if he still fighting with that other guy that loves you?" All the girls looked at Kagome, wide eyed.

Kagome's shoulders slumped and she wanted to run home. "Come on, join us here." one girl patted the ground beside her and Kagome took a seat.

"Well... he never wants me to go home, but he's real sweet when its the right moment.." The girls leaned in and Kagome straightened up, and coughed. "What does he look like?" one girl blurted and Kagome hesitated, "Well he uh... he's got beautiful long hair, and mesmerizing eyes. He's tall and built like a god.." the girls whimpered, "He seems like he's everything.."

The conversation went on and on, until silence filled the room when one girl asked, "Have you two had sex yet? He seems eager to take you Kagumi." she blinked when everyone looked at her, "It's Kagome, KAGOME." Eri told the girl and she blushed. Kagome bit her nail and the girls smirked, "You have, haven't you? Oh what if this gets out in school!" The girls sat up and started planning. "No no no! We haven't done anything, not even a kiss.." but the girls kept talking. She shook her head and stood up, getting ready to leave when one girl pulled her back down.

"Kagome, we won't tell anyone, promise." she let Kagome go and smiled, "Ok, lets get these manga's handed out girls!"

Kagome looked confused, "Manga's? Why are we reading manga's?" The girl smiled, "It's for you to take home. Don't open it until you get back home."


The sun sank fast and Kagome finally got home, "I guess I should try to study on my own.." she walked into her room and closed the door. 'This manga.' she looked at the book in her band, neatly wrapped in purple paper. It was eating at her mind what it was and finally she unwrapped it and turned it over, choking at the pictures on the cover, and she dropped it, "This is degrading, why are they handing these out.." she sat down on her bed and bent over, picking up the book, curious, she examined the picture. It made her navel feel weird and she felt something hot rise in her stomach. The picture had two people having sex in various positions. She looked to her door then to her clock, "10:00pm.." she opened the book and started reading, it showed detailed pictures that made Kagome shiver with something she had hardly felt before. It made her think of InuYasha, her and InuYasha as one. But at the same time, made her feel guilty.. as if thinking that was a horrible thing.

2 days passed.

"Where the hell is she? She's late, late as usual." InuYasha said as he tapped his foot on the ground. "Then go get her InuYasha, if you want her so badly." Miroku said with a sly grin on his face, "If I what!?" InuYasha turned around glaring. "Oh! I mean't if you want her.. to come back!" Miroku waved his hands infront of him, not wanting to get hurt. "Pah.. fine.." he grumbled and jumped into the well.

On the other side InuYasha climbed out and went towards the house, shocked by how windy and rainy it was, it wasn't like this in his time.. "Why does she have to take so long.."

He jumped up onto the roof and peered in her window. She was asleep. "What the hell is this? Sleeping!?" He opened the window and went inside, closing the window and the curtains shielded the light from getting in, the room a cold blue colour. Now walking ove to the bed he stood there, examining her. Her room smelled... different. Musky, yet sweet. He knelt down by the bed and watched her sleep. He wasn't as angry as he was when he first got there, she was sleeping peacefull, but something about her face made him worry. She was a bit pale. 'Is she sick?'

"InuYasha." she murmured then turned so her back was to him. He fell backwards onto his hands and he stared at her, 'is she dreaming about me?' He stood up and sat on the side of the bed, shaking her shoulder gently, "Kagome." he shook her again and she woke up, coughing, "Huh..?" she looked up and saw him, blushing deeply as she turned away and put her head under her pillow, but he simply just pulled it off. "You're sick." he grumbled, "I can smell it." he stood up and she laid on her back, looking at him, "So.. aren't you going to take me?" InuYasha blushed, her question reminded him of what Miroku said, then he shook it out of his mind, "No!" he grabbed the blanket and pulled it up to her shoulders.

"InuYasha." she sat up, ruining his nice job at tucking her in. She watched as he sat on the bed, looking angry as usual. "What!?" she smiled at him and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him, "I appreciate it. I mean, you letting me sat home." He blushed deep red and coughed, "Uh.. yeah.." he wrapped an arm around her waist gently and hugged her back quickly before being let go. She smiled and patted part of the bed, "Come and rest for a while, you probably haven't slept.. knowing you." he looked away then got up and onto the bed, stepping over her legs and then sat beside her, leaning against the wall with his shoulder. Her eyes were glazed over and she smiled at him, 'He is beautiful, and his eyes..' she felt she could get lost in them. They stared at one another, until she reached her hand out and touched his cheek, he blinked, not getting any of this.

Kagome pushed the covers off of her and she got to her knees looking at him, he stared at her, "Kagome, rest, don't be moving around." She shook her head and leaned in, "I'm fine InuYasha.." she said as she brushed her lips against his, her hand supporting her, rested on his thigh while the other on the wall. He hesitated, she wasn't thinking straight, she probably had a fever, and doesn't know what shes doing. But before he could even imagine to kiss her back, she passed out, falling into his lap. He straightened up and blushed deep red, quickly gathering her up and getting her head out of his lap. 'Good thing her mother wasn't here to see that..' He held Kagome in his arms, he had always loved holding her..

It was around 3PM, still stormy outside and very depressing, InuYasha had found out how to turn on her lamp by her bed and before he could hold Kagome again, her mother walked in, "Oh dear, is she still not awake?" InuYasha shook his head, "Hm, well, Souta and I are running to the store, we'll pick her up some medicine. Grandpa is making some herbal tea and will be up in a minute."

After the tea was delivered and InuYasha was lectured about what kinda of herbs were in the tea and why it was good for Kagome, Grandpa finally left the two alone. All was silent until a loud cracking sound shot through the room, and the power went out, not to mention happened to wake Kagme up. She sat up and grabbed onto his haori, "InuYasha..?" he looked at him in the dimly lighted room and sighed, now cuddling back into his lap and rested her head on his chest. He was a bit uncomfortable about her being in his lap, and when she snuggled in deeper, it kind of hurt him. She glanced up at his face and saw discomfort then blushed and moved out of his lap, now sitting infront of him. InuYasha looked at her, rather... synpathetically.. which he had never done ever. She was lost in his eyes, the way they looked at her made her melt. "Kagome, your mother went to get some medicine." Kagome was brought back to reality, her thoughts disappared, "Oh.... ok good.." she said a bit disappointed as she looked away, 'I want him.' she told herself, and blushed then felt his hand underneath her chin, and she blushed more when he lifted her face up to meet his.

He knew what she wanted, she wanted him to allow their lips to meet, but for a longer and more physical time. He leaned in and watched as her eyes closed. He met her lips with his and they shared a small, kiss. Something Kagome was hoping would be better. 'Why aren't I doing anything..' she told herself then suddenly put her hands on his shoulders and pulled him closer, surprising him. Thoughts of that manga she had read returned to her mind, the positions the couple did, how it felt so nice to have allowed herself to touch the area's where she felt guilty for thinking of them. She climbed onto his lap, her legs on either side of his body. He didn't know what he got himself into.. she was probably just thinking this was a dream... right?

The two made out for a few minutes before Kagome broke the deep kiss. "InuYasha.." she lifted her hands to the buttons on her night shirt and began to undress, "No, Kagome.." he watched her as she unbuttoned the last on and shedded her shirt off, wearing nothing underneath it. He blushed bright red and looked away. He was refusing to look at her, he felt guilt pin his heart. "InuYasha it's alright.." she turned his head to look at her, "I need you." she pressed her body up against his and kissed him again as she pulled him down ontop of her, leaving him on his knees and elbows over her.


The lighting flashed and the thunder boomed, Kagome's mother and Souta hadn't returned yet, and grandpa was probably asleep, it being a little later now.

More to come, thought I'd leave you hanging. Its a long one, dull start, mainly to lead up to this point.
