My Corset
I do not own inuyasha and take no claims. This story is written by myself and co-written by darkkitty. Enjoy!
This chapter mostly explains what's going at the beginning. Past to future.
**Chapter: Prologue**
This story is about a man who's heart is as cold as ice, and about a young girl who melts the heart of a heartless beast. Many years ago in a time where nobles and kings ruled the years back then was in the 1700's or close to the 1800's. The lord is in formal names goes by lord tashio of the tashio family. The importance of this family back then they were of great riches and help people when needed. Why? Because they aren't like anyone else who would be little the poor and not care for there welfare. The sad part is that many nobles found this degreating and stupid. Why should they care if the poor goes hungry or dye from froze bite? They didn't and thats what made them angry with the tashio family.
The lord of the tashio family, Inutashio had married a noble woman once before out of an agreement. But they did not bind there souls as demons would usually do. She was cold and uncaring what of the people as long as she had her next partying dress she did not care. The lord was different though, he couldn't just sit back and let this all happen. His wife thought he was mad and this brought more distance between the two more then ever. The lords wife name was naomi who grief at the loss of not controlling her husband came to him one night and told him that she is with child. The lord was shock and thrilled with the news. He tried to work things out between her and him but.....she only push him away, called him a human lover for the people. Yes in these time's demons do exsist especially the dog demon clan.
9 Months later a heir was born, a son. As lord Inutashio held his heir close to his heart, and glaze upon the little infant he name him sesshomaru. The happy moment was only shorten by the screams of running hand maids/nurses who were quickly with the doctor tried working quickly to revive his dying wife. She didn't respond to her son's crying wails or her husbands calls as her life pass on.
10 years later lord Inutashio remarried. Her family wasn't of noblity, nor did she come from a rich family. She started off being sesshomaru's nanny and helper to Inutashio. That is until they fell in love with eachother. They didn't care for the titles, nor of eachother's back grounds. Naomi's side of the family was furious and so was the rest of the demon and human popution for a demon and ningen to be mated and bonded to eachother. They risk against the odds, face with lord Inutashio's eldest son who spite at them with jealousy for his father to marry a human. It only increase the lords son's jealousy when Inutashio's wife Karen became with child.
Inuyasha second son to the tashio family, second heir to the family fortune. Sometime around when inuyasha was born Inutashio's eldest son sesshomaru departed from there home or what home he use to call his own as well. As the years pass more new threats started to take hold on the tashio family. They shuned inuyasha because of his breeding. Noble or not he was still a half-breed. Disgusted on both sides. The little boy would grow lonely, ask his parents why no one would play with him? They would put on fake smiles, karen would pick him up and hug him close. She would only comfort him, tell him no one understands just how special he was.......Inuyasha would never forget the scent of salt of his mother's tears as she cried for him. She knew what his life would be like. He was around five at the most.
As the years pass on by then inuyasha grew into a strong fighter just like his father. At the age of fifthteen inuyasha was gone away from home on a hunt to prove his father his worth. That is until he got home......He stood there in the masscre of what he use to call home. Burnt to the ground, nothing was left. His parents were killed in the fire.
Since that day he grew cold from everyone, never letting anyone into his heart. He didn't bother to try to get in contact with his brother not once after the funeral. They would only glare at eachother, or pass by one another like they knew nothing of the other's presence. Inuyasha took the family fortune, became a strong, ruthless noble that now had humans and demons fearing him. He never return to the place that once stood his families home, no he build a new home, a new life. On that day he befriend one person. A young man by the name of higurashi. That man he could tolerate, listen to him how he would speak hours on end about his pregnant wife. The way he knew of higurashi was because he always been a friend of the family, even to inuyasha. Which was rare since alot of people feared him.
Nine months pass and the man he once knew became this lonely beast from the cheerily man he grew to know. He found out that his wife died while giving birth to there only child. Blood loss. He asked to see a picture of the babe. Curious and wary higurashi-san showed him. There in the picture sat a beautiful, healthy baby girl, cuddled in her father's arms. Kagome. Inuyasha seemed to stare at the picture almost for hours before he handed the picture back. Inuyasha then made a deal with him. At the age of fifthteen kagome was to come and work for him and higurashi-san would never have to worry about money again.

Wow that was interesting wasn't it?? What do you think? Good? Bad? Does it have hope? Just keep in mind that from meeting up with kagome's father he age somewhat and in the next chapter where inuyasha and kagome would meet he will be about 25 years of age. Aging for demons is alot slower but oh well. LOL.
