Journey to find A New Love

It was night the wind, warm waiting for someone to venture out and explore it.

Kagome woke up and smiled.
"Mmmm what a wonderful night." she whispered as she got out of her sleeping bag, carful not to wake anyone.

Then she looked at the sleeping figures across the still roaring fire where Sango lay and Shippo nestled saftly in her arms.

She had told him to sleep with her tonight for she was having bad dreams and didn't want him to lose sleep.
After awhile he finally submitted and fell to sleep in Sango's arms.

She hated lying to Shippo but she had to, she needed to take her walk and be alone.
Knowing her son he would fight off sleep just to go with her.

Peering over Sango's shoulder lay Miroku who had his arm wrapped tightly around Sango's waist.

She had to hold in a laugh knowing that as soon as Sango woke up there would be a loud slap heard thought out the feudal era and back to her
time.

Her smile quickly faded and was replaced by a frown.
'Why do I care anyway she mentally berated herself."because you still care for him." she answered out loud

As she looked out into the forest where she saw Inuyasha's aura mingled with kikyou's dead one.

He thought himself sneeky that no one knew what he was doing at night.

The truth was that Kagome has gotten quite strong over the years hunting for shards,and can tell what humans and demons alike are doing and what they feel, just by looking at the color of there aura.

Inuyasha's was hot pink indicating nothing but lust.

"Enough of this its time for my walk." she said with a bit of sadness in it. She stood and left as quitely as possible.
When out of everyones earshot distance including
Inuyasha's she began to sing :
Alone

Alone
Loneliness is what I know
Won't someone, anyone come and save me.

She sang over and over intill she reached an vast clearing.

It had sakura trees all over and an opening in the middle with a patch of green grass waiting for someone to step there and perform, kind of like a stage.

"This is the best place to do my kata she." exclaimed

She went to the center and concentrated her power then let it out in a faint glow around her.
Then she began with slow punches and kicks her now full hips swaying in unison to her movements.
Then with all speed she somersaulted into the air throwing four miko energy packed kicks to different vital places on the body.

Then she gracefully fell back down to the earth her black tresses following and resting back upon her shoulders down to her waist.

Her body was aching and her lightly tanned skin coated with a thin layer of sweat, but for some reason she wasn't tired she wanted more, she wanted to hurt something as if kami himself heard her wish.

A giant bear youkai appeared and snarled.

"Miko are you the source of power I sensed mmm... you are, you shall be mine." he roared.

"YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN YOUKAI I BELONG TO NO ONE." she screamed right back at him and her words hit her hard letting her know how true that was.

This infuriated her even more she repeated her move kicking the beast in all of his vital pionts sending miko energy into them.
He exploded into little peices, his guts and blood drenched Kagome.

She was in such a rage she even went as far as to lick the blood off her lips.

Thats when she woke up from the blood rage
"What have I done." she whispered
She ran to the nearest hot spring to try to wash away what she did.
Little did she know that big brown innocent eyes were watching her from the bushes.

"Why is pretty lady sad she killed the bid bad youkai who was trying to take her, so why is she sad?" she asked

As she watched Kagome run off in the distance.
