Somewhere to Belong
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Inuyasha and company charaters. They are the sole property of Miss Rumiko Takahashi. I am merely borrowing them for my story. Do I have to give them back? Just kidding. This disclaimer also applies to the rest of the chapters in this story. They are not mine.Though I wish they were. Enjoy the story.
A Very Bad Day
“ Hey, give that back!” Suko yelled at the boys who were teasing her, “give me back my notebook, Haru! It has all of my home work in it!”
“ Yeah? Well I think it has all of my home work in it!” said Haru, the obvious ring leader of the group.
This wasn’t the first time Suko got bullied by these guys. As a matter of fact, it was getting to be an every day occurrence at school. But, that’s just the way things happen in Junior High when you’re the “odd” one in school.
“ What’s going on in here?” asked Mr. Flagsdale, the fat, balding, chauvinist pig of a man they called a gym teacher.
Everyone in school knew how he let the “jocks” slide on their schoolwork and even allowed them “private” screenings of the cheerleading squad as they took their after practice showers. And, since Haru was the best player (not to mention Captain) of the soccer team, he was usually never held responsible for his out-of-line behavior.
“Haru took my notebook and he won’t give it back!” Suko whined.
“Well, you can have it back, but, it’ll cost you,” said Haru.
“But, I don’t have anything. I don’t get paid until Friday.”
“Well, I guess we should find some other means of payment then, huh, Red?” he taunted as he grabbed her by her hair and pulled her to his chest.
“Let go of me, you sick bastard!”
“ All right, all right, break it up!” (Finally, some intervention by Mr. Flagsdale.)
“ Haru, let the whiny little bitch go. We don’t need her going to the Principal about this.”
“ Yeah, yeah…this isn’t finished, babe.” And he threw her notebook at her feet and walked away with a cocky grin.
B-R-I-I-N-N-G-G! The bell! Now, thanks to that asshole and his ass-kissing soccer pals, she was late for class!
