Chapter One: Thoughts
Disclamer: I don’t own Inuyasha. (BACK TO THE RITUAL!!!!)

Im BACK! HOORAY! This first chapter, is really sad, and part of it cute at the same time. It’s pretty much picking up from where I left off on MCR.
Request time first:

I need answers of if Naraku should die or not, or wait until the third one in this trilogy…or I could have him die in this one and have a new villain in the next one….hmmmm

Four Days.
It had been four days since Kyoko had given her life to save them. They had made a grave for her, surrounded by flowers. How could they not? She had created friendship, she had created an alliance between Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru, and most of all, she had saved their lives.
After Naraku left, no one could say a word. Even Inuyasha had tears on his face as he held the crying Kagome. But Sesshoumaru, he was crying hard. He would not let his mother go. Everyone couldn’t help but feel bad for him.

*flashback*

Rain began pouring down on them.
Tears streamed down Sesshoumaru’s face as he prayed his mother would come back.
“Mother come back! You can’t leave me again! Please come back!”
Kagome began crying, and Inuyasha held her, with tears in his own eyes. Sango held crying Shippou, and she was crying silently. Miroku was still passed out.
“Don’t leave me…I don’t want to be alone again. Come back, please come back!”

*end flashback*

They had made camp after making Kyoko’s grave and praying for her. Jaken had showed up after finding Rin in the forest, and after being told everything, Rin did not stop crying for two days.
It was now night of the fourth day, and Sesshoumaru still refused to leave his mother’s grave. He sat in front of it, not sleeping, not eating.
“I wish Sesshoumaru-sama would be happy.” Rin said sadly.
They said nothing. They could see him in the clearing, still sitting there. He would cry sometimes, and pray for her, and even talk to her grave.

Sesshoumaru…

Sesshoumaru felt more tears in his eyes as he thought of his mother again. He didn’t want them to see him cry, but he could not hold it in.
The his anger grew as he thought of Naraku.
“I swear on you mother, I will not let that bastard live.”
The the tears began to fall again.
He didn’t look away from her grave as Rin walked over to him.
“Sesshoumaru-sama, are you gonna be okay?”
He didn’t answer as tears still fell down his face.
She stood on his leg and reached up to wipe away his tears with her sleeve. She then hugged his arm.
“Sesshoumaru-sama? I’ve been meaning to ask you something. Well, could I call you my daddy? I mean, I have no daddy, and you are like one to me, and well—“
“Rin.”
She looked up at him, her face red.
“You may.”
She jumped for joy and hugged him. “Thank you Thank you Thank you!”

The others…

They heard Rin’s question to Sesshoumaru, and saw how happy she was after.
Kagome smiled, “Sesshoumaru’s changed a lot since the first time I met him.”
Inuyasha nodded. “I think now the bastard actually has some emotion in him. It was his mother’s death that made him emotionless, and it was her revival and second death, that made his emotionless nature change.”
Sango sighed. “But Naraku’s still alive.”
Miroku replied, “But now we are stronger, with Sesshoumaru’s power added.”
Kagome said, “When do you think he will leave Kyoko’s grave?”
“Just give him time.”
Kagome looked at the shard she had picked up from Kyoko’s belt.
‘There is still a chance we can bring her back though…’

(A/N: Sesshoumaru is being way out of character I know. But his mother died! You would cry too!)

Kagura…

Kagura watched as Shikyo healed.
“Why didn’t you kill Kyoko?” She asked her.
“Naraku-sama wished to have her.” Shikyo answered without opening her eyes.
“That’s pathetic. That you obey only Naraku.”
Shikyo did not answer.
“You don’t even have your own life. It is in his hands. You feel completely comfortable with that?”
Shikyo opened her eyes and looked at Kagura. Her eyes had color now, as she was not done before. Her eyes were a deep gold.
“If Naraku-sama wishes to kill me, he will.”
She stood and walked away, straight through the wall.
‘So that is her power. She can go through solid objects. There must be something else though. Something Naraku is hiding.’
She looked at the moon. It was shaped as the one on Sesshoumaru’s forehead.
“Sesshoumaru…”

Naraku……

Naraku laughed.
“So I couldn’t have Kyoko…well I still have her power, and more…”
He looked at Shikyo, who had just walked in.
“Naraku-sama. Do you trust Kagura?”
Naraku snickered slightly. “Of course not. But I will give her a chance. She knows that her life is in my hands…”

Okay…it took me a long time I admit. But I started another book that EVERYONE likes. And also, Im planning on putting up yet another fanfic. Dark Fated will no longer be posted.. If you want the chapters to it, email me to ask.
