Best Served Cold

This is my response to an intriguing challenge issued by Kougasmate. I don't think I'd ever have enough imagination to have thought up this plot so Kudos for this story goes out to you Kougasmate!. Thanks for the excellent idea! I'll do my very best in bringing your vision to life... and I only hope I do a good enough job on it.

Now for the most rabid loyal Inuyasha followers. I am guessing this idea was based off of the events of episode 39 "Trapped in a duel to the death" which is all well and good however before anyone decides to nail me to a cross for changing the time line of that awesome episode just know that it was absolutely necessary in order to make it believable. Cause after all this is a fan fic, a Yaoi one at that which already changes the whole game plan. I'm not excusing changing the facts of the series... only explaining it.

This is a stretch but I Sooo love a good challenge!!

Summary: Kouga is beside himself with anger when he finds that Inuyasha is responsible for slaying his wolf brethren, Kouga attacks Inuyasha but in the process he brutally rapes him. What will Kouga do when Kagura reveals to the wolf that it was all part of Naraku's insidious plot?

//Enrich the soil with deception//

Once more he hefted the massive blade of Tetsusaiga up over his head to bring it down with mighty force, shredding the relentless wolf corpses asunder, only to have them reanimate and attack him again and again. He slashed horizontally, cutting three zombie like bodies across their middles.

Coagulated blood and pink fleshy chunks of viscera flew through the air at every turn. The repulsive stench of decay assaulted his sensitive nose as surely as the undead wolves assaulted his body. Their drone like yet agonizingly mournful wails and moans nearly drowned out the sound of his heart pounding in his ears. And it invigorated him even more. The heat of combat sent adrenaline pumping through his demonic blood, just as it did whenever he was in battle.

These demons were an annoyance to be sure but the excitement of the battle was undeniable. Such was the call of his demon nature. And he could no sooner help himself from relishing in the action than he could stop breathing. He ignored the sting in his eyes as his ever low hanging white bangs caught in his eyes. Right now it was imperative that he focused, he had to somehow clear a way through the attacking corpses to get to the diminutive sorceress who controlled them.

The bitch who absolutely reeked of his sworn enemy's scent, also had some strange powers over the wind and thusly he could not use the Tetsusaiga's wind scar technique. That left doing things the hard way which he had no problem with whatsoever. Just then one of the soulless zombies clawed him across his right shoulder causing a small groan of annoyance more than pain.

"Inuyasha!" came the frightened shout from Kagome who had witnessed her companion being injured.

"It's just a scratch!" He bit out after beheading the offending assailant, and hacking apart the bodies of four other attacking corpses with a strong cross slash.

Having watched the bloody yet otherwise boring display for quite long enough the wind sorceress decided to put an end to act one. With a demure wave of her open fan all actions seized as the bodies of the undead wolf demons fell apart once more returning to the dismembered rotting corpses they were when Inuyasha and the others had first arrived.

"That's enough fun for you Inuyasha... I'm sure Naraku's been greatly entertained" She said in a bored drawl while maintaining a devious knowing smile on her painted lips.

"Well let him watch THIS!" He launched at her sword held over his shoulder, closing the considerable distance between them quite rapidly.

"Tsk Tsk..." She pulled from her ornately decorated headdress a feather which immediately grew in proportion to support her and thusly took off into the air with her riding atop it.

"You should know better than to be an impatient boy." She was already too far out of reach to do any damage to at this point.

"Shit!" He swore angrily and sheathed the now smaller feebler blade haughtily.

From the dark castle just ahead emerged two familiar figures both with disgruntled expressions on their faces. Sango gripped the massive boomerang on her shoulder with a white knuckled fist as she pulled off her poison blocking mask from over her face, revealing it to be a healthy shade of crimson. A tell tale sign of her irritation no doubt. Walking just a few feet behind her was a very chagrined violet eyed monk who also sported red cheeks, though his was suspiciously shaped like a hand.

Inuyasha fixed Miroku with a degrading glare and the monk feigned innocence.

"Did you find anything inside the castle?" Kagome asked ignoring the signs that the lecherous monk had gotten frisky with Sango ... yet again.

"Just a demon puppet... it was all another trick." Sango answered with a weary sigh....

"Hmm... well I don't sense any jewel shards nearby... " Kagome said with a thoughtful frown.

"Just a damn waste of time... " Inuyasha spat and started off away from the scene.

"Wait where are you going!?" Kagome yelled at his back

"Where do you think?! I'm following the direction that Kagura bitch went!"

Abruptly he closed the conversation with that last comment and took off almost moving too fast for his friends to follow.

//Plant the seeds of hatred//

His mind was raging, his anger was seething and his heart was pounding madly in agony threatening to burst free of his chest cavity. The proud raven haired wolf blinked back tears of hatred and bitter sadness, cursing each one that threatened to fall from his bleary eyes. He couldn't get the smell of death off of him. It clung to him as surely as a second skin and it nearly sickened him to the point of dry heaves.

He blinked yet again to keep those damned tears at bay only to have the image of his slain brethren flash before his eyes like a perfect ghastly portrait painted in blood. His rush through the unbeaten path almost faltered at the horrible image that refused to escape his mind, but he kept on, determined not to stop until he found what, or more namely who he was looking for.

The dirt turned up from his rapid moving feet left an angry cloud of dust streaming behind him, any tree or shrub not deeply planted was uprooted in his furious unrelenting whirlwind of speed. And it was all well as the wolf demon took small delight in the destruction he was rending in the surroundings. In some strange way seeing something as simple as a unsuspecting shrub being violently yanked up by it's roots helped him to dispense the pain. And pain is what he eagerly wished to give to the one responsible for his own grief.

His jaw set tightly and he growled low in his chest with a dark promise to return the pain he had been given. The smell of his kin's blood almost drowned out the scent he was so hell bent on tracking... him. Kouga will be the first to admit he had never liked the whiney pompous halfbreed that dared to challenge him at every passing. The worthless mutt was a loud obnoxious pup that insisted on tagging along behind the young Miko Kagome.

Kouga's threats to kill the hanyou couldn't necessarily be defined as idle or half hearted, only something that he wasn't really inclined to do unless the mutt gave him any small reason to. And now he had a reason to and it was far from a small one. Not for the love of the human girl that he had expressed affections for, not to establish his obvious demonic superiority over him, not even to be rid of a nuisance.

He wanted revenge, he wanted to cause the filthy worthless creature severe pain. No he didn't deserve a quick death, he wanted the hanyou to suffer horribly and so much that he will beg for his death to come and Kouga wouldn't give it to him. Not until he was sure the filth experienced the most anguish possible.

"Inuyasha you're going to Fucking Die!"

//Let it grow and fester//

"Wait!"

He had all but barked the order to his small group of companions. When all eyes faced the hanyou, they knew simply from his stance that something was amiss. So accustomed had they become to his characteristics it was easy to tell by the alert twitching of his dog's ears, the narrowed eyes, the series of deep inhalations followed by small sampling sniffs ... yes Inuyasha was on to something. And judging by the tight lipped frown he wore it was obviously something he was not pleased with.

Despite the time formed understanding the rest of the small group had with the half demon she of course had to be the one to ask.

"Is something wrong Inuyasha?" Kagome asked with concern evident in her tone.

The demon slayer Sango and the dark haired monk exchanged a brief knowing glance between one another. Inuyasha did not answer immediately only continued to sniff the night air with discontent. His eyes narrowed even more and his ears slightly flattened.

"I smell a stink." His displeasure showed clearly on his proud features.

"Well you are covered in blood... A dip in a lake can't hurt." The ever insightful Kagome suggested. Shippo snickered, Sango and Miroku shook their heads and Inuyasha just glared at the brown eyed girl then rolled his eyes.

"No stupid! It's coming from somewhere else!" He growled out and turned his back to her. Tilting his nose skyward he sampled the air, his brow furrowing with annoyance.

*That damn wolf again. I know that stench anywhere even with the blood masking it.*

Inuyasha continued on with his thoughtful rant.

*Guess he's been to Naraku's castle and found all those dead wolves.*

"Feh!" He snorted disdainfully. All eyes focused intently on the hanyou, awaiting his word but none came as he was still brooding to himself.

*He's headed this way too... probably wants to snoop around for information about the shards... greedy bastard.*

Inuyasha's golden gaze turned towards Kagome.

*Or at least that's what he's gonna act like he wants, when what he's really here for is to sniff at Kagome's skirt... She'd sit me into my grave if I tried that crap with her. Why the hell does she let him flirt so much? She must like it. Well he ain't gettin a chance to sniff around Kagome this time!*

"Wait here I have something to take care of!" He ground out and was just about to set off when a small restraining hand landed on his shoulder.

"What is it Inuyasha? Where are you going?" This of course was asked by Kagome and she was giving him "the look" the one that was always the precursor to "the speech". And it always went something like..."Inuyasha you should learn to trust us more... we're your friends, have faith in our strength to help you."

He would always then proceed to flip her off, then she'd sit him into oblivion thusly winning the fight and getting her way. She'd end up following along behind him, somehow fall into life threatening danger, he'd endure a grievous injury while defending her, they'd go back to the village where she'd treat him and say "See? I told you it's good to trust in us!" He'd be far too tired at this point to argue and that's it... end of episode. And sure enough her lips parted...

"Inuyasha... whatever it is.. you should let us hel...."

"Spare me the lecture! This is something I'm doing alone and that's final!"

And with that he took off at top speed, cutting her off of her retort and hoping to get well out of earshot in case she decided to scream "Sit!" and subdue him. Considering the acute hearing range of those dog ears of his he'd have to get pretty far in order to avoid the curse of the necklace.

"What was that little outburst all about?" Kagome wondered aloud.

"I couldn't even begin to imagine... He did seem a little agitated though." Sango offered thoughtfully as she adjusted the impossibly massive boomerang to her other shoulder.

Miroku simply shrugged and sat cross legged at the base of a tree. "Well.. all we can do now is wait." And so he made himself comfortable his long lashes shuttering his eyes from view when in truth he was discretely admiring the view of Kagome's little outfit with no small amount of perverse interest.

If Inuyasha had his way tonight, this little encounter wouldn't take very long. He would simply catch the wolf first, beat the living shit out of him, tell him to lay off Kagome, and be on his way, quite merrily. And that was pretty much the plan, it was a simple one when looked at in such a perspective.

*Time to straighten out that mangy wolf... for good!*

He added speed to his leap and distance to his jump, motivated by the grim promise of a night fight.

He really was a demon at heart.

// Nourish it with blood //

The moon sat high in the star lit midnight blue sky, a glowing, unreachable heavenly body as she always was. And this night she cast her brilliance ever lovingly onto the earth as it greedily basked in the silver light. The wind was a soft fair breeze the stars twinkled oh so delicately and nature hummed.

The night knew not of the pain and anger that had and will unfold here. The moon did not care for the bloody deeds her dark children of the night had in store. There she floated heavenly and unaffected by greed, anger, sadness, rage. No ... things such as that were for those bound to the earth to experience....

Little did she know...

Tonight she would be painted red in violently spilt blood.

Greenery was ferociously disturbed as a figure burst onto the scene. Skidding to a halt on the dirt an upturned cloud of dust temporarily barred from view any glimpse of the abrupt disturber of peace. But soon the thick brown cloud dissipated leaving only the most murderous looking blue eyed wolf ever to walk the earth.

His glare was ice fire and if it had the power surely the whole forest would have burst into flames. To one unawares they would simply think he was angry with the trees in his path but in fact the true target of his wrath was soon about to make an appearance. Kouga's eyes narrowed darkly and his nose twitched in confirmation that his prey was indeed fast approaching which made it all the more better for the wolf.

Death, Destruction, Hell's Deliverance, and Fiery Brimstone defined his every intent. The assurance that the blood of his enemy would soon stain the earth sent heated adrenaline pumping through every corded muscle and the growl that rumbled in his chest only excited him more once it reached his own ears.

He waited...

His wait ended in the span of a second which to him felt like an eternity. He had stood still even as his claws itched to bury themselves in pliant worthless flesh. The sound of light fabric fluttering against the wind met his ears from above and his eyes shot up to find the red of the woven fire rat fur, the white silver of long flowing hair, the gold of fierce burning eyes.

Yes.. it was Inuyasha in all his foul half breed glory, and when the abomination landed on the ground he stood up with a proud straight back. Almost holding a demonic aristocratic air about him. How laughable, a half breed standing so tall in front of the real thing. Kouga would be the one to cut the insufferable whelp down to size and teach him his place... right before ending his loathsome existence.

"Kouga..." Just from speaking the name alone.. all of his intentions came through as if he had spoke out a well prepared speech. He spoke the name with passionate hatred and the way his fists were balled and his muscles flexed anyone could see that he was ready to battle.

"Inuyasha" Kouga spat the name out as if it was the foulest of venomous scum ever to pass his lips. He was in fact surprised that his voice didn't waver when he spoke the accursed name. His blue murderous glare fixed on the young hanyou who was already quite dead in his eyes.

No warning...

"Prepare to die!" He launched himself bodily at the unsuspecting half demon. But even as surprised as Inuyasha was he made up for it with his quick instincts. He dodged to the right well in time before the blow could cause him any harm.

And what a blow it was!

Where he had been standing a second before used to be a tree. Now it was nothing more than a pile of splinters. Just the force from the wolf's left fist destroyed the massive tree completely.

Surprised?... Yes Inuyasha was, but still his quick agility made up for his bewildered mind. Kouga swiped at his head and he ducked, sure he had lost at least a some strands of hair for it.

*Shit!* Was all Inuyasha had time to think before dodging yet another blow that could have ended his life. three swipes and Inuyasha hadn't even unsheathed his sword yet! It was ridiculous!

Kouga was fighting much more fiercely than usual. Did the stupid wolf really want Kagome that badly? Inuyasha had only come tonight with the intent of kicking the wolf's furry ass around to get his point across but with Kouga going ballistic this way it seemed he just might have to kill him...

"If you wanna die so badly that's fine by me!" Inuyasha said through gritted teeth as he quickly wielded the Tetsusaiga which immediately transformed from rusty old blade to massive demonic Fang.

He swung his father's fang at his enemy sending a blazing path of energy towards the mad wolf who simply leapt in the air to evade it. When Kouga landed he found he had another wave of energy to contend with and almost didn't dodge in time. This only pissed the maddened wolf off even more it seemed. Kouga sneered then snorted in disgust.

"You think you can kill me mutt? Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not going to be as easy as the rest of my wolves..." The deadly poison in Kouga's deep voice was sharp to Inuyasha's ears But what was more disturbing was what the wolf demon said.

"What the hell are you talking about Wolf!?" He questioned.

Kouga's face contorted with a look that to the hanyou was completely indescribable. His expression was caught somewhere between complete utter Rage, and bitter sadness and.. something else unreachable... What the hell was wrong with this guy!? If he was really going this crazy then maybe it was best to put him out of his misery.

"You think you can try and pull the innocent act with me you despicable pile of useless dog shit?" The wolf demon managed to keep his voice low and steady and not yell even though his heart was just screaming for the blood of the hanyou in front of him. But in battle he knew it was always best to keep your emotions behind a fortified wall.

"Save your breath for your screaming you filth! I can still smell their blood fresh on your blade!" His emotions betrayed him just a bit on that statement as his anger simply shook though his frame and he launched himself at his astounded enemy yet again.

Inuyasha again dodged but this time only narrowly so. His reaction time seemed to have decreased dramatically as his mind raged in frantic disarray. Just what in the hells was this fight about here? This wasn't just a scuffle between two jealous beaus seeking the affections of a pretty girl. Those sort of quarrels are known to get nasty well. But not quite to this extent.

No this was completely different. There was something entirely foreign in the look of those blue eyes. He glared at Inuyasha as if the half demon had single handedly destroyed his life and everything he held dear in it. Almost as if..

//"I can still smell their blood fresh on your blade!"//

*Gods...Does he think that I...*

"Hold it you crazy bastard! What the hell is wrong with you!? You're not thinking that I was the one who killed your pack!?"

Kouga growled so menacingly it would have sent any lesser demon scurrying away and folding into a small ball. And for one horrifying second Inuyasha almost wanted to. But like hell would he debase himself in front of this delusional demon!

"I thought I told you to SHUT UP!"

At the words "Shut Up" Kouga had yet again blazed a path towards Inuyasha with long deadly claws raised and ready.

But Inuyasha stood firm until the very last second. Before Kouga was about to pull back to land the blow, Inuyasha balled up the fist not holding the Tetsusaiga and swiftly cracked the side of the wolf's jaw with all the strength he could push into that one arm. Kouga's attack was immediately halted and derailed, sending Kouga nearly flying into a tree before he skidded to a halt in front of it.

Kouga's face remained turned towards his left shoulder which was where it had been knocked to as the punch impacted heavily on his jaw. His bangs hung low in his eyes shielding them and all emotions from view. He spat out the coppery blood that had pooled in his mouth from his fangs cutting the inside of his cheek. Everything about him seemed eerily sedated and mysterious which was a little disturbing to Inuyasha. Shrugging it off, he aimed the business end of the Tetsusaiga towards the wolf as he made his 'point' across.

"Now listen you delusional misguided idiot! I don't know what got into your head or where you got your information from but honestly I don't give a damn! This is the last time I'm gonna say it so hear me well! I.... DIDN'T.... KILL... YOUR... WOLVES!!!"

*Lies all of it! *

He couldn't hear anymore of those words yet he knew the hanyou was still talking. It didn't matter what he said... it was all lies... all of it spouted from the mouth of a worthless half breed who's too much of a coward to take responsibility for what he did.

*He's going to pay .. with his blood... with his screams... with his soul!*

The wolf didn't even emit a sound, didn't even intake breath, hadn't even turned his head to face Inuyasha when he bolted at Inuyasha while he was in mid sentence. The Tetsusaiga was pointed towards him but that was easy to evade as it was being held by an unmoving hand that had gone stiff with dreaded shock.

Kouga's fingers found their way easily around his enemy's neck, his claws already closing in and sinking into the soft skin they found there. His other hand grabbed the wrist of the hand holding the fabled fang that was the true source of the half breed's power. With a profound, forceful yank not only did the Inuyasha lose his grip on the blade sending it flying to bury itself into a tree trunk, he also choked in agonizing pain as he felt his entire right shoulder be dislocated from the force of Kouga's furious wrench. He was surprised his arm didn't tear off completely.

He didn't have a moment's reprieve...

As soon as his body registered the fact that his right arm now hung uselessly at his side, Inuyasha felt the pressure on his neck increase ten fold and his back impacted into a hard, unforgiving tree trunk. His eyes widened and his mouth opened , wanting to take in a gasp of shock from the pain but finding that he couldn't even do that with the life crushing hand around his neck.

"Kou...ga..." He choked out though even as he did he couldn't find what he would have said. His vision was starting to blur.

"Shut the fuck up!" He slammed Inuyasha against the tree yet again, relishing in how Inuyasha's now dark red face contorted with pain, how his eyes glimmered with intense frantic emotions, even in how the trunk seemed to groan under the pressure he put on it. The corner of his mouth turned upwards in a grim dangerous smirk as he watched Inuyasha's only mobile hand weakly reach up to close around his wrist.

This was it...

The downward spiral that usually lead to the demise of all his enemies. And tonight, it was Inuyasha's turn to spiral down that path of no return with the rest of them.

Unceremoniously he yanked Inuyasha's body from against the tree and actually let him go. His glee heightened as he watched the hanyou teeter haphazardly on weak legs for a few seconds and then begin to fall. But before Inuyasha could hit the ground Kouga flexed his claws and raked them across Inuyasha's back fiercely. The feel of fabric and flesh tearing and splitting under his claws.. the sound of Inuyasha's grunt of pain....heavenly...pure bliss.

It excited him...

Probably more than any other battle had ever did before. Blame it on the sensations... the sounds..the scent... but Gods the visual. Inuyasha fell with his back facing Kouga, his shredded Haori barely hung on his pale shoulders. What wasn't red with blood was all fair supple skin that with the exception of the four deep gashes in his back was unmarred. That was something Kouga was going to change.

Inuyasha tried to support himself on his arms only to have his right one crumple uselessly under his weight and sending him toppling over onto his face. Gods how humiliating it was to be in such a position in front of that stupid pretentious wolf! He growled as furious anger welled up inside him even though he could do nothing for it since his body was still recovering from lack of oxygen. His vision was only just starting to return. He wanted to send curses towards Kouga but found he could only cough and hack.

It was that sight alone that caused something to shift in Kouga's mind. Something so dark and bestial he was appalled that he had the capacity to think it up himself. But then the longer that feral thought lingered the more he began to indulge in the idea... Inuyasha deserved no less. He circled around his prey and discovered that his excitement was more than just an adrenaline rush of battle.

He was aroused...

And painfully so to his astonishment. And why should he allow himself to remain in such an uncomfortable state when the key to his satisfaction lay just before him, ready... and not so willing? He wanted to hear Inuyasha's screams.. he wanted to see him break.

"Inuyasha..."

That was the second time Kouga had used his name tonight. The first had been laced with searing hatred and the promise of death and yet this time when his name was whispered low, silky... It was more frightening than anything Inuyasha had heard before.

"...." Inuyasha remained adamantly silent and ignored the fact that his throat hurt too much to even throw an insult.

A hand firmly grasped his chin and raised it upwards none too gently. Those golden eyes turned up towards that of his opponent's steadily. The gaze was steeled and proud, it did nothing to portray the inner turmoil of the young half demon's mind. He simply would not give Kouga the satisfaction.

A spirit so strong...

This only caused Kouga's deviant grin to broaden . His true hatred and malice was coated over with that sweetly low seductive voice.

"How did you do it hm? Did you sneak up on them when they least expected it and started swinging that big sword of yours around?"

Silence...

Kouga's grip on his chin only tightened more painfully But Inuyasha didn't make a sound, not even the smallest whimper of pain passed his lips.

"Did you think that by killing my wolves you'd somehow prove to be their equal?... Is that it?"

Kouga laughed bitterly as he witnessed Inuyasha's flinch at the comment. So his human heritage was a sore spot was it? Kouga was not surprised by this.

"Heh... how misguided.. even in death they'll be better than you you filthy stinking half..."

"Fuck you Kouga!! Go to H.."

The sharp pain between his shoulder blades rendered him speechless. How did Kouga move behind him so fast!? He fell forward, nearly forgetting to put out his arm to keep him from becoming acquainted with the dirt for the second time. It would seem he needn't have bothered.

He felt one strong arm had wound itself around his waist, effectively holding him up but restraining him at the same time. When he would have turned to throw more curses and nasty comments at the wolf with his renewed voice his head was violently yanked back as Kouga pulled his hair harshly. And it took everything in him not to groan at how it felt like his hairs were being pulled from their roots.

Hot breath warmed his cheek, but it may as well have been an arctic wind for the foreboding shiver it sent tingling down his spine. And Kouga drank in every second of it. He knew Inuyasha's resolve was breaking with each passing moment. The faint smell of fear betrayed all of the hanyou's efforts to remain calm on the surface. And then there was that delicious shiver...

"Just do it!" The rough growl brought Kouga back.

"If you're going to kill me just do it already!!" Inuyasha said with a strained voice.

*He would want the easy way out.* Kouga thought darkly.

"Inuyasha... so eager to die?"

No answer, not that he needed one.

"Don't worry mutt.. your time's gonna come soon enough... but for now... I had something else in mind."

Leaning in closer onto the body bent before him he made sure that a certain part of his anatomy was well known of. And if Inuyasha didn't know what he intended to do before he definitely knew now.

At the feeling of something long and hard and undeniably Kouga pressing against his inner thigh, a thousand alarms went off inside his head. His face paled, his guise of bravery crumbled and he started to squirm. Fear and panic suddenly became all too evident in his every movement and in his voice.

"K-Kouga.. wait.. w-what are you doing!?" He jerked as far away from that prodding object as he could but in Kouga's vice like grip around his waist that wasn't very far at all.

"I'm paying you back for your services to my wolves." He answered back calmly... sarcastically.

"I didn't do it! I already told.."

"Lies!" The grip in Inuyasha's hair had never relented through all of this and with that same grip he slammed the hanyou's face into the dirt, holding it there for a few moments to watch him struggle for breath.

"You're a lying fucking bastard! How dare you dishonor my kin by denying the responsibility of their deaths! I can name each wolf you slew by the scent of their blood on your hands. And you sit here and try to deny it! I should kill you just for that alone!"

Muffled sounds of protest came from the wriggling figure beneath him and he viciously pulled Inuyasha up again. He gasped and sputtered for air and coughed on the dirt that had found it's way into his mouth.

"K.. Kouga! I .. swear.. I didn't do.."

His mouth was again filled with the foul tasting earth and his senses were rocked as his face was slammed harshly into the ground again.

" Shut up! You disgust me! Just worthless halfbreed scum who's too much of a coward to fess up to his crimes! " He spat and yanked up Inuyasha yet again.

"Death is too good for you and you deserve nothing more than this! Consider yourself lucky you've become my bitch!"

When Inuyasha felt a hand ready to tear away his pants he decided it was now or never. In a last ditch effort with strength born of desperation he lunged forward with every hope to free himself of Kouga's grasp.

Unfortunately.. The wolf was expecting an attempt of this sort and lunged right along with him. All his weight settled on top of the already fatigued Inuyasha who cried out in pain as Kouga bit down on his shoulder unmercifully. He greedily lapped at the blood finding it to be quite sweet considering it belonged to a dirty half breed.

Once he drank his fill he roughly pulled Inuyasha onto his hands and knees once more. His arm now wrapped around his chest as he leaned over him to whisper menacingly in his ear.

"You try that again..." The ear flicked back and Kouga trailed his hand over Inuyasha's madly beating heart.

"And I'll tear your heart out." He finished and relished that shudder that passed through Inuyasha's lithe form.

Something broke in Inuyasha as the harsh reality of the situation sunk in. He was about to be raped... and brutally so. All because of a deceitful bastard.. and a wolf who wouldn't listen.

"Kouga..don't.. please don't... do this" He no longer cared how his voice trembled weakly with fear.. or that he was begging. He just wanted to go home...to be anywhere but here.

"You were asking for death a few minutes ago but now you're begging me not to fuck you? Tell me... Is this really worst than death to you?" He said in a deceptively sweet voice. Inuyasha's entire form shook with grief.

"Yes... it is." Inuyasha whispered in profound defeat.

"Good!"

Tearing fabric... harsh cold wind... rough hands gripping his hips with bruising pressure.. Inuyasha let out a pitiful cry and started to struggle violently. Let his heart be ripped beating from his chest he didn't care! As long as he didn't have to go through this. Sharp claws raked across his chest that he now realized was bare. A tortured wail escaped his lips before he could halt it.

"I mean it... stop struggling right fucking now Inu... as surely as you gave death.. you're going to take this.!"

"Gods.. please no.. please.. stop.. " As if answering him in the negative a strong wind blew through. It would be considered a warm summer night's breeze to any other but to Inuyasha it felt as cold as winter. It alerted him that he was completely exposed to the elements... and the only source of warmth lay in the hands of the one who would give him pain.

And pain is what he received...

The blood curdling scream pierced through the night and filled the forest with sorrow and agony. There was no preparation and no warning when Kouga had forced his way into the tight virginal entrance that tore and bled to receive him in a single thrust. Kouga had to remind himself to breath as he held onto those hips tightly, his eyes squeezed shut.

*Oh God!... Oh Shit!*

He could barely believe something so tight and hot existed in this world. The pleasure he felt from being encompassed by those squeezing resisting walls was more sinful than the very act he was committing.

What brought him back to reality was the pitiful sound of crying and the delicious scent of blood and his need to pound into that hot ass over and over again. But of course it wouldn't be complete if he didn't taunt.

"You know how fucking good you feel Inu..?" His voice was lust thickened and husky.

"Please.. Kouga.. please s-stop it! " Inuyasha pleaded as fat tears rolled from his afflicted golden eyes.

"No." He moaned with pleasure when louder sobs escaped from those lips.

"But.. but I didn't.. do...it"

That comment made his euphoria wash away as if swept on a tidal wave. Only to bring in his fierce anger once more.

"I thought I told you to Stop... fucking ...Lying!!"

With every word he dug his nails wherever he found flesh. First both arms and then the smooth outer thighs. Inuyasha screamed in perfect torment as every tearing claw passed through his flesh. But that pain was nothing compared to when Kouga slammed him down onto the ground again, putting him in a position for some hard thrusting.

"Ah ... Ah! AHHH! Sto...na.. Nahh! " In a mouth that tried to form pleading words, pain ruled all and caused each attempt at a word to die where it had started only to be carried out as a scream or a sob.

Kouga slammed into the straining hot tunnel over and over again. His eyes slid shut and he lost himself inside that heavenly body. For a few precious seconds he forgot where he was, why he was doing this, and who he was doing it with. All that existed was excitement, intense pleasure, his madly beating heart... the delicious scent of fresh blood.

Blood of his victim...

That's what brought him back down to earth and slowly the sound of those pitiful moans and sobs and that plea that the hanyou finally managed to get out.

"Kouga pl-please I'm begging you stop it."

That voice so loud an obnoxious before was now a soft timbre.. a trembling melody. So delicately mild.. so sweetly broken. Gone was the proud obstinate spirit from before and now what remained was a near reedy voice that reflected the emptiness inside and the black hole that steadily drew in more of that spirit into eternal oblivion.

It was exactly what the wolf had wanted...

So why was there a pang of regret!?

In a violent attempt to sweep away that betraying feeling inside of him he pulled back on his haunches, bringing Inuyasha's weak body up onto his lap by roughly pulling at his already injured shoulders. As if waking the agony of his dying spirit once more Inuyasha yelled loudly in pain from that movement. It was the feeling of that long steel like throbbing length inside of him slipping deeper and breaking him further that was the true reason for the outburst.

Kouga still rocking his hips and pushing his erection deep into him now whispered into his ear another taunt.

"You're begging me to stop? Admit that you killed my wolves and I'll let you go." He lied.

No way would he let go now!

His arms circled around Inuyasha's waist as if in declaration of that fact. The position was almost a loving one. Inuyasha's answer came slowly but the voice was strangely a bit stronger than before.

"No... I didn't kill them."

Why did he always have to lie!?

Even now when he's lost it all he still would not admit to doing the deed even though the evidence hung on his every pore! Why!!? Kouga desperately wanted to know!

Instead of slamming him onto the hard ground or clawing into him or even punching him senseless like he wanted to do, Kouga roughly turned the tear shrieked muddy face towards him and without seconds delay gave what could only be described as a violent brutal imitation of a kiss. It was all tooth and fang biting viciously.

Absent was the gentle lover's that should have been present in every kiss. All that existed was hatred, pain, agony, and the need to give it back twice over. When he tasted blood spilling from their 'kiss' He lapped it up quite greedily all the while never slowing the thrust of his hips in fact speeding up while doing it.

When he drew away he looked directly into those glassy golden eyes reflecting anguish in them.. long lashes were wet with his tears yet pointed heavenward. Face pale white like the moon under the dirt and muck that clung to to it. Lips full swollen, bruised and now red as blood. Beautiful...

He felt himself erupt at full force inside of the silver haired hanyou. The world exploded into thousands of white stars shaming the night sky. Searing blinding pleasure had him jerking his hips into the motionless body as he rode out the orgasm to it's end.

And then he met with earth again. All too abruptly for his tastes. What sent him nose diving back down to this world was the same thing that brought him back before. It was Inuyasha...The bloody pale, unmoving Inuyasha. Like a broken china doll he let the body fall. Silver hair now stained with crimson. His skin was deathly white as more blood flowed from his open wounds. Kouga's eyes rested on what he knew to be the most painful wound which was that of his torn bleeding virginity which still seeped the remnants of Kouga's seed.

His mouth twitched and he sneered even as his enemy could not see it.

He uncaringly turned Inuyasha onto his back with a kick. The better to see the mutt's face. For a terror stricken moment he wished that he had not.

Those eyes used to be golden and full of life.. they were now a dull ruddy yellow. Inuyasha's pupils were so dilated they almost took over his eyes completely. His mask was an expressionless one... almost as if he were dead. If it weren't for Kouga's keen ears picking up a heartbeat and the very shallow rise and fall of his chest the wolf would have thought him so. This was supposed to feel satisfying... why did he just feel empty instead?

"Feh!" Kouga stubbornly brushed this ill feeling off. Instead he would rejoice in the fact that his wolf brothers had been avenged! He had destroyed the enemy of his pack in the worst way possible.. giving him pain ten fold to what he gave out. This was right... In all aspects revenge was a dish best served cold.. and that's exactly how he'd served it up... brutally cold.

He stepped over the pale body draining of life slowly and looked directly into those now flat eyes. Alpha-Wolf pride would not allow him to falter even as he faced those endless pits of broken emptiness.

"This is what you deserve for killing my wolves! From now on you wont be able to live or even die without the knowledge that it was I Kouga that has defiled you! Go on! Die now...Play the coward I know you to be.. you worthless piece of trash!"

He half expected the old Inuyasha waking from his coma and leaping at his throat.. maybe even shouting out some idle remark. But that soft feminine laughter at his back was the very last thing he expected to hear. When it reached his ears it filled him with dread and he had to stop himself from jumping in reaction to it.

"Who's There!?" Kouga growled out threateningly as he turned to face the direction he'd head the laughter from. Another surprise caught him dumbfounded when he found himself staring into the blood red eyes of a very slender mistress donning a kimono and a smile.

"It's about time you noticed my presence here... Kouga is it? I would think a male wolf of your standing would be more keen to his surroundings" Her eyes trailed to the body behind him.

"But then again... perhaps you were too preoccupied to notice.?"

Already he didn't like this little bitch that talked to boldly with that condescending tone. It was obvious that she was a demon if her eyes were any indication but she could still die too.

"Who the fuck are you!? And who do you think you are nosing into my business!? " Kouga always had a charming way of greeting someone.

"Hmm... Business indeed." Her smirk lifted her otherwise bored expression as she batted those long lashes to hold an air of suspense.

"I only come with one message from Naraku.. a name you would do well to remember as he was the one whom so graciously... arranged tonight's events."

A shudder of foreboding passed through Kouga's form as he stood there wide eyed and transfixed by the next words that came out of the woman's mouth. 'tonight's events' ? What had she meant by that!?

"Naraku wishes to express his deep gratitude to you for finally bringing down that nuisance of a hanyou behind you however he is saddened that he had to kill off all of your wolves in order to give you the motivation to carry out the deed."

Kouga's blood ran cold...

And the wind sorceress only smiled serenely.

"Good night.." She laughed darkly and with a burst of wind from that magical feather she took off into the night sky.

Kouga just stood there frozen stiff with shock.. There was no rage.. no anger no anguish or sorrow.. just plain shock... Until he turned to face his latest victim.

Every hard devastating emotion that he never even knew existed crashed down onto his heart like a meteorite, sending him to his knees as he shook with sobs that threatened to erupt free. The pride of the alpha male wolf couldn't help him now as his blue eyes met those empty yellow ones that seemed devoid of any semblance of life.. of spirit. He had taken that spirit away...

"Oh Gods!" He panted out.

The dam broke. Tear after tear after tear flowed like a river from his eyes as he gently lifted Inuyasha's naked bleeding form into a protective embrace as he rocked back and forth.

"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry .. I'm so.. so.. sorry" Over and over again like a sad mantra he repeated it but what are those pitiful sorries to a pale spiritless boy who had been raped violently?

Kouga couldn't take the pain anymore.. so he gave it to the moon.

A long mournful howl filled the night with all the bitter sadness of the world...

And for the first time the moon wept for the souls of her lost children.
