Seein’ Double
Kagome and Kikyou Hito, the twins with everything they could ever want. Rich, intelligent, popular. However, one of the twins has something the other wants. Find out just how low or high they will go to get what they want. Will the other wise easy going twins find their strong bond has one hell of a weakness? Is blood truly thicker then water? Should love be the one that wins over all? Or will everything they worked so hard for suddenly go down the drain?

Twin School

The morning sun peered through the slightly opened, heavy, blood red drapery. Its heated fingers stretching out to the king sized bed, lighting the lush maroon carpet. The huge, over stuffed, down feather bed was dunned with rich black sheets and a heavy, deep red blanket, hemmed with gold, with matching black pillows. A movement under the covers signaled the presence of someone in the darkly colored room.
“Come on, Kikyou!! Wake up!!” The suddenly shout brought Kikyou from her sleepy state and the full blast of the sun as the drapes were pulled aside only woke her further.
“Kagome!!” Kagome stood near the window, her long, wavy, dark brown hair was tied back at the nape of her neck. Her chocolate brown eyes flashed with chagrin.
“Don’t ‘Kagome’ me, little missy!! You’ve got less then six minutes to get ready to go to our first day of school and you’re still in bed!!” Kikyou blinked her eyes a moment, as if still dazed from sleep.
“Oh yea…” As if she suddenly realized what her twin had said, she hopped out of the bed and began to dart around, getting ready.
“Could you give me my cloths out of my dresser while I take a quick shower?”
“Oh for the love of god! You don’t have time to take a shower!!” However, before Kagome could stop her, Kikyou was already running the water and hopping in. A frustrated sigh passed her full, cherry lips as she rushed to her sister’s dark, cherry wood, gold trimmed dresser to get Kikyou a change of cloths. ‘Does she always have to have dark things…?’ Kagome was the lighter spirited one of the twins, though they looked identical, their tastes in things were anything but.
“Here… now will you please hurry!?” Kagome placed Kikyou’s cloths on the bathroom counter. Her twin’s bathroom was just like her room, dark. With another sigh, Kagome darted from the room into the kitchen, popping Kikyou’s breakfast into the microwave to warm it for when she got out. Kagome really hated being late, especially on her first day of school, but Kikyou seemed to always find a way to make them late. Last year she had to stop by the store to buy herself new lipstick, the year before she wanted to go through a drive through to get breakfast, and it would seem this year they would be late cause Kikyou thought she need to sleep in. ‘What am I going to do with her!?’ As if by the mere thought of her, Kikyou came into the kitchen and scarfed down her food.
“Finally!! Let’s go!” Kagome grabbed her twins elbow and drug her out to her truck, a red 4x4.
“Do we have to take this thing?” Kikyou whined as she climbed into the passenger seat.
“Yes! Everyone knows this truck.” Kagome has a rep of being the speed devil of the town. When they saw her truck, police would just shake their head and sigh. Weather it was racing for money or just racing to get to school, high gear was her favorite speed.
As the twins entered their first class, mouths dropped and eyes budged. It was bad enough the they were twins, but seeing double of the most beautiful woman in town was just too much for most of the guys to bear.
“Think we’ll turn heads this year, sister?” Giggled Kikyou as she shamelessly flirted with each guy as they passed to get to their sits.
“Sister!! Have you no shame?”
“Ummm…. No?” Kagome gave a soft, frustrated cry as she took her sit, not knowing that a pair of golden eyes were watching her every move.
