Summer Blossom's
Kagome watched the water of the lake change colors as the sun set for the evening. The colors were beautiful and wild. Kagome sat near the edge, hugging her legs to her chest as she rested her chin on her kneecaps.
Her mind began to wonder as the water lapped gently at the beach. The tint of the water was no longer an angry red, but a calm lilac purple, dusk had begun to settle over early Japan. She knew it probably wasn't a good idea to be out here, all alone with blood thirsty demon's around.
But the lake looked to inviting and peaceful, it made her feel safe to just sit their. Kagome had fallen for the image, hook, line and sinker.
A small sigh escaped her lip's as she closed her eyes to the peaceful scene, as her most rescent battle passed over the fog of her mind.
It was was bloody and most were seriously harmed, including herself..
She had a nasty scrape on her elbow and she was sure she either cracked a rib or brusied is pretty badly.
Anyway, the large blue and purple brise covering her chest and upper stomach was enough to convinse Inuyasah she was badly hurt.
Kagome decided not to tell him about the leg wound she received. It wasn't big and it didn't hurt so much now, only when she forgot about it and put allot of weight on it.
She reached down and removed her shoe, the pulled the hem of her sock to reveal two redish brownish spot's on either side of her ankle.
Kikyo's deadly arrow had pierced through, but missing the tendon by a mere centimeter. She covered the wound back up and again and slipped her shoe back on, sighing as she resumed her former position. Her life never was simple, or even easy. Even before she came here, to the past. Back home, five-hundred years into the future, things weren't as complicated, but they were just as hard.
"Kagome, what are you doing all the way out here?"
Kagome made a surpised noise in the back of her throat and turned her head. He looked caught between confused and angry. Confused as to why she as out here, all alone, and angry for the same reason. One for not telling him and two because she could be in danger and she was alreayd hurt. She saw his eye's and felt her heart crack. His eye's held so much power, so many emotion's...
"Oh, hi Inuyasha."
She turned her head back around and set her chin on her knee's, locking her finger's around her legs once more.
"Nothing, just watching the sun set."
"Oh. Well, mind if I join you?"
She smiled and closed her eye's.
"Of course you can."
She saw him out of the corner ofher eye, sit down and rest his elbow's on his raised knee's.
"Isn't it beautiful?"
Kagome asked, smiling up at the sun set. Inuyasha wasn't looking at the sun when he answered.
"Yeah."
He whispered, then looked away from her to the sun. Kagome smiled and fell back, letting her arm's all out next to her and her leg's spread, brining her skirt up a little higher on her thigh's. She knew it, and wanted Inuyasha to notice.
Inuyasha blushed a bit when he saw what her body lanuage implied, but tried to keep his gaze on the lake.
"Ya know, back home, we don't have sun set's like these."
Inuyasha looked at her as she spoke.
"Back home, the light's are to bright in the city and the air is polluted and you can't see the sun set very well."
Inuyasha nodded and looked back at the sun, sighing.
"Sometime, I wish I could just watch the sun set forever."
Inuyasya nodded, storing that peice of imformation into the back of his head, and tuned back to the sun set.
Kgome continued, a sigh in her voice.
"Yeah. It's so romantic and special, like your first kiss."
She sighed and closed her eye's, wondering if he'd take the bait. Inuyasha stared at her a moment, before looking back at the lake.
She basically told me to kiss her!!
His mind raced and tripped over it's self.
What am I gonna do? I love Kagome, so much.... But... What about Kikyo?
He sighed and closed his eyes, trying to come to a conclusion on what he should do with the two girl's. Who would win his heart and who would end up with one broken?
"Inuyasha?"
His angel whispered, but he couldn't bring himself to open his eyes.
"Hm?"
He herd her sit up and felt her hand touch his shoulder. Opening his eyes slowly he looked at her. Her lavender eyes bore into his, shining like rare Amethyst.
The sun light reflecting off her face and hair, making her look almost ethreal. When Kagome looked at him, when she was lying down, he looked like a lost child. Scared and alone. She sat up and touched his shoulder, when he looked at her, his gold eyes nearly looked like they were on fire, that the color in his eyes was alive. His hair, in the setting sun, looked like a rare blonde.
He was beautiful, magnifiscent, wild and precisous.
"Are you alright?"
Inuyasha didn't know if his stomach dropped out or if it was something he ate. But he knew thats what she didn't want to say, but he couldn't fault her, he wanted to tell her how much he loved and how much he wanted to be with her, and couldn't. She was at fault as much as he was.
"I'm fine."
He whispered, a taking a dare to reach over and brush her hair out of her face and tuck it behind her ear. He let his hand cup her cheek a moment, rubbing his thumb over the tender flesh. She closed her eye's and leaned into his warm touch.
After a while, when Kagome opened her eye's again, Inuyasha let his hair drop.
"Inuyasha..."
She whispered, looking at him with a want that her eyes screamed. But Inuyasha wouldn't move, he wouldn't not unless she asked him. He would not try and kiss her and be rejected. It'd kill him.
"Tell me what you want."
He whispered, leaning forward. Kagome seemed to gasp/sigh as she watched him move closer.
"Tell me what you want, what you desire, and I can make it possible. Your heart's desire's are my command."
Inuyasha paused when his nose nearly touched her's. He had to know.
Kagome watched his face, he was serious. He wasn't lying. He'd do anytying for her at that moment.
"I... I.."
She sputtered, knowing what to say but not being able to.
Inuyasha set a clawed hand on her shoulder.
"Don't rush it Kagome."
He whispered, kissing her forehead and laying down next to her.
Kagome was speechless, her forehead burned slightly from where his lip's met skin. She turned her head to look down at him and saw him with his arms folded behind his head and his eyes closed.
She bit her lip and stared at him.
Why can't I just tell him? Why can't I just come out and say it....?
Then it hit her. She'd write him a letter! That was it! She'd write him, tell him her feeling's, and if he felt the same way to meet her somehwere!
But where, they were so far from Kaede's village, or Inuyasha's forest. Could she wait that long? She smiled to herself as she thoguht of the story her mother told her about the God tree.
Yes. I can wait and it'll be worth it.
She stood up making Inuyasha open one eye.
"Well, supper should be ready, wanna head back?"
She smiled at him and held out one hand to him. He stared at her hand a moment, before sitting up and slipping his hand into hers.
Helping him up, she kept hold of his hand as they walked into the surrounding forest.
~Four Days Later~
They finally reached home, Kagome had been careful to avoid any alone time with Inuyasha, the past three day's. But Kagome was determined to atleast tell him how she felt.
If he didn't, it wouldn't be the end of the world... Just hers.
Tonight was the night. She had her friend's in on the scheme, even Shippou. First, Sango would distract Inuyasha while Miroku went and had a banch made, that morning. Later that afternoon, Sango and Kagome went to the God tree, while Shippou, Miroku and Kaede distracted Inuyasha.
Sango and Kagome set up a few candle's on the branch's of the tree and one on each side of the bench.
Once that was done, Sango helped Kagome write the letter.
It read:
Inuyasha,
I know you may be wondering why I havn't let you be near me in the past three day's, and I understand why your avoiding me. I'm pretty sure I've somehow made you mad. The truth is Inuyasha, is that I've been avoiding you to plan something. Something very important to me, something that I need you to hear, even if you don't understand. This is allot on my part, so please listen and try to understand where I'm coming from.
I love you Inuyasha, more than the air I breath, or the water I must drink to survive. I love you more than anything cherishable on this planet. If you love me as well, meet me under the God tree as soon as you finish this letter.
Kagome

Sango smiled and squeezed her freind's shoulder when she set the letter and pencil down. Sango giggled a bit when Kagome began to shake.
"It's ok Kagome. I'm almost positive he'll meet you here."
"Yeah, but what if it's to call me stupid, or...."
Kagome began to hiccup and cry. Sango took the girl into her arm's, in a very motherly way. Holding the girl in her lap.
"It's alright Kagome. This is a big step, I understand... I've went through it so many time's. Have faith in your self, and Inuyasha. All will be clear by tonight."
Kagome sniffed and nodded. They packed up the letter and headed back to the village.
When they reached Kaede's hut, Inuyasha was sitting in the corner, seeming to be asleep, Miroku, Kaede and Shippou all looked exhausted from watching the hanyou all day.
"Where've you been all day Kagome?"
Inuyasha asked, in a low, but deep and very angry voice. Kagome frowned and grabbed her hip's.
"First of all, your not my father. I don't have to tell you everything I do, and Second, it's for you so stop being so mean to me."
He simply stared at her, then closed his eyes again.
"Come, Kagome, supper is ready. I'm sure you'll need your strength tonight."
Kaede said, pouring both the girl's a bowl. Miroku snickered, earning a glare form both Kagome and Sango. Backing down quickly he sipped from his tea.
Kagome and Sango took a seat near Kaede and Shippou and began to eat.
Kagome's stomach couldn't handle the grilled venisin and rice with vegetable's and set her plate aside.
"Are you not feeling well, Kagome-chan?"
Kaede asked, Kagome nodded. Kaede nodded and stood up.
"I'll be right back."
Kagome took a sip of her tea and touched her stomach. Sango touched her shoulder.
"You'll do fine. Imagine a spring weeding. Cherry blossom's falling and your wearing a beautiful white wilk dress, with a beautiful silver tearra and silver train with pearl's swen into it."
Kagome's stomach eased a bit at that, but then she got the wedding jitter's.
Kagome covered her mouth, closing her eye's again the swirl of the room. Sango knew that didn't help and bit her lip.
"Alright, imagine this. His strong warm arm's are wrapped around you."
She said, getting behind Kagome and holding her.
"He tell's you how beautiful you are, and how sweet you are."
Kagome leaned back into Sango, still holding her stomach. Sango began to rock side to side.
"He begin's to sing to you."
Sango whspered, closing her own eye's, remembering how her mother did this for her, every time her crush was around and she got sick from nerv's.
Sango began to sing. Kagome, knowing the song, began to sing with her. Shippou whimpered and climbed into Kagome's lap. Kagome opened her eyes and smiled down at him, petting his head she closed her eye's and began to sing again. When the song was over, Sango kissed Kagome's temple.
"My mother used to do that to me when I was young and... In the prediciment your in."
Kagome smiled.
"Your such a good friend, Sango. Arigato."
Sango let her go and moved over next to her. Kaede returned by then and handed Kagome a vile of water.
"Is this water?"
Kaede waved at her.
"Oh, heaven's no, it's my mother's old formula for a stomach ache. It work's, and I never let anyone but myself use it. But seeing what you have to go through, I'm letting you."
Kagome smiled.
"Arigato, Kaede-baasan."
Kaede nodded and smiled. Kagome downed the glass in one gulp. It tasted like water, except for a salty taste.
"Now wash it down with this tea."
Kaede said handing her a cup of tea. Kagome sipped from it, feeling her nerv's and stomach calm.
"Arigato, it's working."
Kagome smiled, Kaede smiled back, but Kagome missed the wink Kaede and Sango shared. Inuyasha stared at Kagome every once in a while. Confused by her's and everybody's action's that night. Was Kagome going to do something? What pediciment was she in. She didn't smell weird outside of the wound's she had. Deciding to ponder, he closed his eye's again, folding his arm's tighter around Tetsuiga.
Sango elbowed Kagome once Inuyasha closed his eyes gain. Kagome looked at her, Sango held out her hand. Kagome watched Inuyahs while she carefully and silently handed Sango the note.
Sango put it in her sash. Kagome got up and cleared her throat.
"I'm going for a walk."
Inuyasha looked up at her, she gave him a look that said 'do not follow, less you want to be sat'.
"Psh, don't leave the village."
Kagome rolled her eyes and left.
After a few minute's, Miroku and Shippou went to bed, Kaede took care of the food, leaving Sango and Inuyasha in the room all alone.
"I think you should read this Inuyasha."
Inuyasha glanced at her, looking at the peice of paper in her hand.
"What is it?"
Sango shrugged.
"It's signed to you, though, I found it in Kagome's pack when she asked me to get her sleeping bag the other day."
Inuyasha nodded and took the letter. Sango leaned over his shoulder to read with him.
A blush tinted his cheek's and he closed the parchment. Sango grunted.
"Hey! I wasn't done!"
He stood up.
"Good."
Sango watched him with confonfusion on her face until he left, then a sly smile graced her lip's. Miroku, Kaede and Shippou all came back.
Miroku sat in the corner, his one hand up praying all went well, while Shippou stared at the fire, Kaede to was praying and Sango stroked Shippou's head as she too watched the fire, praying for her friend's.

Kagome sat on the bench, watching the star's. It had been nearly an hour since she left. Tear's began to gather in her eyes as she realized, he probably called her stupid, ripped the note in half and stormed off.
She wasn't prepared to hear the bush's moving. She looked over, her stomach flipping, but it wasn't Inuyasha who popped out of the bush's, it was a small rabbit. She smiled and held out her hand and clicked her tongue. The rabbit hopped over to her, Kagome stroked it's head, pushing its long floppy ears back with a smile.
"Your so cute."
She gushed, smiling.
"And your beautiful."
Kagome gasped and turned around, scaring the rabbit away. Inuyasha was standing right where he was trapped, when she first saw him.
His arm's were crossed and he was leaning on the tree with his ankle's crossed, a blank look on his face. Kagome blushed and looked away quickly, but then her gaze was drawn right back at him. He pushed off the tree and walked toward's her.
Kagome swore that it was a god walking to her, the candle light accented him perfectly, making him glow slighlty, the fire fly's had gathered due to the warmth of the fire and the glow of the light, was doing their job of making it look all that more ethreal. Kagome turned on the bench.
"What's this all about Kagome?"
He asked, his face still emotionless. Kagome's mouth opened, and moved a bit, but nothing came out. He smiled a small, small smile and held out a hand to her.
As soon as her hand touched his, music started. Kagome's eye's widened.
It was her favorite song too, 4 For All, 'I swear'.
He set her hand on his shoulder, then sliding his hand down her arm to her waist he smiled down at her.
Suddenly, glowing gold spec's circled them, and changed their cloth's. Kagome was wearing a beautiful midnight blue dress, with spackle's, and Inuyasha was wearing a black tux. His white hair pulled into a ponytail. Kagome's hair was up in a ponytail too, her hair was curled and had blue sparckle's in it, her bang's curling down her face.
"... How?"
She whispered, he smiled and continued to dance.
"I saw Azuka on my way to the well, she read the note, much to my disaproving. I told her not to interfear, but as you can see, she just couldn't."
He spun her, then caught her and continued to dance.
"I don't know how I'm doing this."
He chuckled. Kagome giggled, feeling tear's gather. He smiled and wiped them easily away.
"I went to your time and talked to your brother, asked him to give me a music maker and your favorite music sound. He gave me a square thing and a round thing and showed me how to start it."
Kagome laughed and sniffed. He wipped away her tear's.
"Don't cry Kagome. Be happy and dance with me."
She smiled and nodded.
As the song began to slow down, Kagome rested her head on his shoulder and Inuyasha brought their hand's between them to cover their beating heart's.
When the last string's of the music faded, they seperated and looked at each other.
Suddenly, like a burst of light, the illousion fell from them.
Kagome squealed but giggled as the lights exploded from them, to dace around them, then dissapere.
Kagome looked back at him and smiled. He grabbed her chin, without hesitation, or worry, he gently touched her lip's to his.
Kagome's stomach exploded in spark's once his lip's touched her's. Kagome sighed through her nose and wrapped her arm's around his neck.
Growling more bold with each other, Inuyasha slanted his mouth against hers and pulled her closer.
Happy beyond beleife that he was finally able to kiss, touch an feel what he was denied of, for year's. He gently broke the kiss and stared at her a moment.
Her lip's were glossy and red, her eye lash's were slightly spiked from the tear's, and her face was flushed. He smiled and touched her cheek. Her eye's slowly opened, looking at his chest, then slowly crept up to meet his gaze. Swallowing loudly, Inuyasha cupped her chin.
"How long have you loved me?"
Kagome's eye's flashed and she dropped her gaze for a second before brining them back up. A blush crept up on her cheek's.
"Well... I found out that I loved you the day I caught you and Kikyo in the forest, hugging each other. Remember that day? You asked me if I'd still be with you."
He nodded, and kissed her forehead, hugging her to him. Kagome wrapped her arm's under his and rested her cheek on his chest.
"How long have you loved me?"
She asked, closing her eye's. She felt his chest expand in sigh.
"For a long time. I can't remember the day, probaly the same day you found out."
She smiled and hugged him closer. She'd have to thank Kikyo then. One day.
The wind blew slightly, making Kagome shiver and move closer.
"C'mon, let's go back."
Inuyasha whispered, picking her up bridal style. Kagome gripped his haroi and rested her head under his chin and closed her eye's. Inuyasha walked back, feeling the need to hold her as long as he could.
When they reached Kaede's hut, Kagome was asleep, and holding tightly to Inuyasha's haroi, like it was a security blanket.
Inuyasha crept past his sleeping companion's and into one of the back room's and carefully slid the door open with his foot and closed it the same way.
Kagome's fold out bed was already laid out and partically open. He bent down and removed one arm to open it the rest of the way and set Kagome in it, then covered her up. He kissed her forehead and went to leave when.
"Inuyasha... Where are you going?"
He turned to see her sitting up and rubbing her eye's. He touched his sword, then removed it.
"Locking the door."
He whispered, shoving Tetsuiga into the door frame. He was about to turn around when Kagome told him not to. His cheek's lit up when he herd her removing her cloth's. When she said ok, he peaked over his shoulder then turned all the way around. She was dressed in pink pajama's and was laying out her roll out bed to where the inside was out.
She laid out her pillow's and went to the closet to get a quilt. Inuyasha removed his haroi and hakama and folded them and set them next to the bed.
Kagome told him to lay down, he did as he was told, and she covered him up, then slipping in next to him, she turned her back to him. Inuyasha smiled and spooned behind her. Kagome sighed and scooted back against him.
"Good night, Inuyasha."
She yawned and went to sleep. Inuyasha kissed the back of her head.
"Good night... My tenchi."
He whispered to her sleeping frame. He too, soon fell asleep.

The sands of sleep slowly lifted, and the fog of confusion dipursed.
Her eye's slowly fluttered open, her dark violet eyes took in the room, with a ray of light poured in and landed right on her face.
She closed her eyes again and tried to hide under her blanket.
That's when the memorys started coming back. This wasn't her blanket, this was Kaede's hut, they were sleeping on her sleeping bag. They?
Inuyasha and her. Inuyasha had answered her letter, he had danced with her and confessed his love. He was right behind her.
She swallowed and looked over her shoulder. Her heart leapt when she saw his white covered soulder, his glossy white hair and white cat like ear's twitching as he slept.
He had slept on his right hand, using his forearm as a pillow. His other hand was resting over his hip, his back was to her, so she could see his side rise and fall slightly as he breathed.
She rolled over carefully not to wake him, because he froze and his ears twitched when she moved, but once she was situated, he unfroze and continued to sleep.
Tears gathered in her eyes as she remembered how sweet and caring he had been last night. He had let her fall asleep in his arms, then put her to bed, and, when she asked, he slept with her.
She blushed a bit and smiled shyly, pulling the blanket up to cover her lip's.
Naughty images filled her head about all the possibilty's that could have happened last ngiht.
She felt herself getting warm as she picuted his expert hands moving over her body, his generious mouth kissing her in more places than her mouth, and his finely toned, well muscled body over her's.
She found herself panting as she watched his back.
She nearly choked when he moved, he rolled over, facing her and pulled her close.
Suddenly, she found herelf on her back, his mouth kissing her neck.
Kagome was in a daze, her legs were spread, and he was nestled between them.
Her mouth had fallen open around now, he lifted himself up, his gold eyes piercing into her's.
"You smell so wonderfuly this morning, koi."
She could only stare up at him, but before she knew it, she felt her lip's moving.
"Don't leave me."
She couldn't hear her voice, come to think of it, she couldn't hear anything but him.
"I won't."
He whispered, in answer to whatever she said. Benidng his head down, he crushed his lip's to her's. She whimpered, arching her back. She felt a pressure on her groin, pulsating in time with the lightning like curls of pleasure.
She whimpered again against him, pushing her chest up to his, wrapping her arm's around his neck, it felt so good, she couldn't explain it.
Her whole body tingled with that lightning like pleasure.
Her leg's violently wrapped around his hip's, then things slowed down, she felt like it was in slow motion, but they were moving fast.
Her back, suddenly arched and she moaned, breaking her lip's form his.
"Kagome..."
He whispered, almost in an echo like manner, suddenly they both began to blur.
"Inuyasha."
Her lip's moved, but no volume could be herd.
"Kagome."
He moaned, arching his back and going ramrod. Kagome arched her back, her lip's falling open as her eyes went wide.
Her body felt like it was numb, if she tried to move, attempted or even thought about moving, her body would spark with pleasureful lightning curl's. All over her body.
The color's were suddenly swimming.
"Kagome."
His voice as distort.
"Kagome, can you hear me?"
It almost sounded like a far away voice that was getting closer, fast.
"Kagome, wake up."
She felt herself shaking. Her eyes snapped open.
"Inu.... Inuyasha?"
She looked over her shoulder to see Inuyasha, he was panting, sweating and shaking slightly.
"Iuyasha? What's wrong?"
She rolled over and touched his face. That's when she felt it, her left though had presed against his groin, and she felt him. He was large, she could tell just by the slight touch she had, she pressed closer on instinc, and on doing so, felt the wetnes between her own leg's. It was then, she knew she had a wet dream.
Inuyasha was waken to her pant's and moan's, when he opened his eyes, it was all he could do, to not ravish her their.

She woke up and rolled over to him, her thigh pressed against him and he nearly groaned, wanting to simply throw her down and show her his love for her, physically.
But he restrained himself, even when she pressed closer.
But it broke when she sheepishly looked up at him, with a blush. He smelt her arousal, rekindled. This time, it was more clear, her leg's were out of the way, so the smell could easily drift out and burn his nose.
"Kagome.'"
He whispered and pushed her onto her back, settling hismelf in her thigh's. His eyes nearly rolled into the back of his head when her scent spiked again.
He pressed himself against the slightly wet spot in her pajama's, watching as she gasped, her eyes's falling half lidded and her lip's falling ajar.
Kagome was in a haze, when he butted against her, she felt everything from her dream again, the spark's and curl's of heat. Only this time they were more acute, and she was feeling them more clearly.
"Inu.... Inuya... Yasha..."
She whimpered, in a high pitched moan, tossing her head to the side and gripping his shoulder's. The feeling has completely consumed her, she had to have him, and she had to have him now!
She withered violently under him, and the more she did it, the more it turned him on. Her body was on fire, the deisre that laced her scent was so powerful that his own desire heightened to that level.
With desire fogged mind's, the two kissed.
Kagome grabbed tight to his hair, pulling him and crushing him to her, while Inuyasha did the same, one hand tangled in her hair the other gripping her hip, holding it astride his own, giving him complete acess to her exposed core.
Kagome loved it, she loved every feeling he made in her stomach. Every move he made, sparked a deep, soul burning, pleasureful curl of heat in her stomach that had her moving so heatedly against him.
"Inuyasha..."
She panted, so much pleasure laced her word's and Inuyasha couldn't take it. He felt his blood rise, and his demon side come out.
He ripped every last clothing their was on them and stood before Kagome in his powerful glory.
Kagome sat up on her elbow's to see him. He was perfect, his muscle's had buldged a bit when he transformed. His fang's dripping out, between his lip's and the black markings on his cheek's returned.
"Kagome..."
He snarled, growling. But she wasn't frightened, the tone of his voice sent chill's down her spine and added another log or two the raging fire in her groin.
He was on her faster than she could blink. He pushed against her back with one hand, while the other cupped the back of her head. He pushed her chest to his and kissed her. Kagome couldn's breath and her heart stopped, she was sure of it. She felt her groin tingle, already numb. When his bare flesh butted against her their, she fought the scream that tore at her throat. She didn't know what was happening, she desired Inuyasha so bad, that if he were to stop their, she'd die. Literly, her heart would stop. She knew it.
She moaned, a squeak into their kiss when he did t a second time.
He broke the kiss with a snarl and started raining, open mouth, hot kisses down her neck and collar bone.
Kagome arched her back against his hand, holding her back in an arch anyway, and cried out softly in pleasure, blushing hard a she took one of her nipple's in his mouth.
"Oh... Inuyasha..."
