Fate Makes Your Destiny
Rain poured down on Keade's small hut. Inuyasha, Miroku, Songo, Shippo, and Kirara all waited for Kagome to arrive back from her time. The storm was getting worse with every passing moment, and they were all beginning to fear for their friends life.
Kagome threw her giant yellow book bag over to edge of the well, following right after. She was drenched from head to toe with rain, causing her top to become see-through.
"You should know better than to be out in the forest late at night all by yourself"said an unearthly voice.
"Who's there?"Kagome asked the tall dark figure
"You know who I am"spoke the person. Oh, dont tell me you've already forgotten?"said the creature as it stepped out of the shaddows.
"Kikyou!"yelled a very surprised Kagome
"Yes its me, and now its time for you to die!"shouted Kikyou as she pulled an arrow out of her quiver and notching it. She drew the arrow as far as the bow string would allow.
"No!"Kagome screamed as she started running in the direction of the village.
"Meet your demise, foolish girl!"Kikyou let the arrow fly as she spoke these words. The arrow hit Kagome in the back right under her left shoulder blade. Kagome hit the ground with a thud, skidding 10ft on her stomach. She got to her hands and knees, slowly pulling herself to her feet. Touching the wound on her back, she winced in pain. Her fingers were dripping in fresh blood. Horrified she turned around, only to see Kikyou had another arrow notched, but this one was aimed at her heart.
