This is my first actual lemon, it is an alternate universe Inuyasha. A look back on Sesshomaru (aka FLUFFY)’s life and an altercation with his brother that changes everything they thought they knew, ANGST, lemony goodness, non-con in a way.
Any way I hope you like it. ^_^ okay it gets kinda sappy deal with it. :OP
Oh and I don’t own Inuyasha.
The little demon gazed quietly through the window delicately pointed ears twitching at the most minute of sounds. Carefully he stretched farther so he could get a better view. Never before had he seen so many humans, such busy creatures they were. But one house interested him far more than others, the house where his father dwelled. The child could not help the wagging of his tail as he spied his father’s long white hair streaming behind him as he paced too and fro worry evident on is face. The little ears twitched as he teetered further on his stool.
“My lord do not worry so, many women have difficult labors on their first child.”
“How can I not. What if she can not deliver, what if I hurt…” the two golden eyes shown at the human.
“Fear not friend, she is strong.”
The child frowned, this demon before him cared not that the pups own mother suffered in child labor, and had left her to die alone at the hands of his beloved humans. The child sniffed in disdain, as he fingered the blasted silver collar at his throat. He watched as his father fretted and worried about his new human wife. He heaved a large sigh, no it was not fair that he had blamed his father, he had been away when the clan had been destroyed, or so the living adults said when they knew he was near. None would say the truth; he had abandoned them for this human.
For as long as he could remember he dreamed that his father would find him, take him away from that place, love him. But no it was the pup who had to find the elder demon. And found him he did, as lord and master of this new clan. The little nose sniffed the scents, as a scream echoed through the house, not the sound of agony but the sound of irritable indignation that only a newborn child can utter. In his haste to cover his sensitive ears the little dog demon toppled his perch and landed in a heap.
This is the second item he had come to see, the child. He had heard that this human whom his fathered had married was kind and gentle, and with child. The little white head shivered in delight as he scampered along the wall. Maybe they would let him join their new family, he grinned as the found the nursery and waited patiently curling up on the wall to wait. It was hours before eth commotion died down and the child laid to rest. After all the lights had gone out and the house slept, the quiet intruder slipped into the open window.
Stealthily he crept to the little bed and peered in. Never before had he seen anything so tiny, he smiled as it hiccupped, and gurgled.
“Hello little one I am you big brother.” He touched the soft cheek careful not to scratch it with his claws. “What did they call you? Inuyasha was it? Well we will have great fun you and I. I’ll protect y…” but he was never allowed to finish his thought as a scream ripped through the quiet of night.
“DEMON!!!” he jumped back away from the cradle as the servants rushed in. “The demon was after the child.”
He growled and showed his fangs as they approached, he looked frantically around panicked look in his golden eyes, as he saw no escape, as they closed in.
“Kaiya looked on helplessly as she grabbed her child and looked him over, as she sighed nodding to her husband who dispersed the servants. She gasped at what was thrown at their feet. The little creature fought to remain upright as two golden eyes looked at her husband hopefully.
“Po..pa?” He gave a lopsided grin wincing as the split lip stretched. “It is you! I can tell.” He stepped closer, little clawed hands reaching for the larger man’s pant leg.
Her husband just stared at the child with cold eyes the resemblance left no doubt in her mind that what the child said was true. The little demon ducked his head and made to move closer when he was struck to the ground, claw marks deep on his cheeks.
“But Popa?” he stood confused tears in the golden eyes, only to be knocked down by a second blow marring the other pale cheek.
“You are not my son. That life is dead.” He could not bear to look the pup in the eyes instead focusing on the crescent on his forehead, he so resembled his mother.
“Get this thing out of my sight and see that it does not return. However do not kill it.”
“Aye my lord.” Bowed the servants as they grabbed the crying pup. The child hung chained to the post in the center of town sobs rocking the little body more that the lashes that fell. He felt nothing, empty, cold. Rejected his beloved father loved these humans not him, never him. The sobs grew causing the lashes to falter. Gently he was cut down as he was gathered into the warm embrace of oblivion.

“Sesshomarooo?” Rin looked nervous as he growled. She nudged him as she saw the tears starting to fall, as he whimpered in pain. “Shesshomarooooo!”
He awoke so violently bearing both teeth and claws that Rin gave a little yell as she dodged the attack. Realizing it was only the child he gave her a soft reassuring smile as she plopped into his lap petting his good hand, trying to calm him. He smiled, as they curled up in a ball and Rin soon fell fast asleep. The demon sat gazing at the stars, it had been ages since he had thought of that day. Seeming to sense his darkening mood Rin patted his hand and snuggled deeper into his robes, as he too drifted back to sleep, and into his dark dreams.
“Why do you have to go back Kagome?”
“Shippo I have my final exams. After these I won’t have to go back for a while okay?”
“You can always take us with you.” He gave her his best toothy grin. Kagome chuckled and patted the small head.
“Maybe next time squirt. I do have to concentrate you would distract me.”
“Fine.” He stuck his lip in an adorable pout as she laughed, making a note to bring him more lollipops. She hugged her friends goodbye and disappeared down the well. She had not been gone three minutes before Inuyasha began to complain.
“So what are we supposed to do now its not like we can look for shards or anything. Argh.” Inuyasha swiped angrily at a dandelion.
“Well why don’t we take a little trip. I hear there are some really great hot springs south of here. I don’t know about you but I could use a break.” Offered Sango.
“Um shouldn’t we wait for Kagome to come back?” Shippo looked at the adults.
“Nah Sango is right this way we can see if its worth the trip besides she said she’d be gone at least a week.” Miroku smiled and ruffled Shippo’s hair causing the little fox demon to glare, rather cutely.
“Its up to you Inuyasha.”
“Sure why not.”
The four companions headed out at first light feeling only slightly guilty about going with out Kagome. Unbeknownst to them Sesshomaru, Rin and Jockin were heading south as well. They walked at a pleasant pace, watching as Rin skipped along gathering flowers and chasing the butterflies. The dog demon allowed himself a slight smile as he watched her antics.
“My Lord Sesshomaru.”
“Yes Jockin.” Irritation prevalent in his voice.
“Why do you allow her to follow?”
“Because I choose to.” Rin’s sudden cry caused the assassin to run to her side. “Rin?” two large eyes looked up at him. “What’s wrong?” She whimpered as she looked at the dead animal on the side of the road.
“Rin it is already dead it is not hurt any longer.” He watched as she gently scooped leaves over the little body as she lay her flowers on the mound.
“My Lord we…ack!”
“Jockin we are busy do be quiet.” They sad there several moments before the assassin scooped up the little girl as she sniffed and buried her head in his soft hair small arms wrapping around his neck.
“My Lord if I may? Why do we head south?”
“There word that a warlord has acquired several of the jewels. This can not be allowed to remain in his possession.”
“Yes my lord.”
Sesshomaru nuzzled Rin as she mewed sleepily. This little human had managed to wriggle her way into the demon’s heart. It had been so long that anyone had treated him with anything akin to kindness he had not known how to react. It was well into nightfall before the trio decided to stop and set up camp.
“Rin do not stray too far, it is not safe.” He was answered by a sweet smile as she set out to explore. Feeling carefree the demon followed her on her explorations. He followed as she skipped along humming a silly song. Soon she had pulled him into a form of hopscotch as they jumped from stone to stone. For the first time in a long while he found himself smiling and laughing in joy, the pair wandered aimlessly looking at the stars and watching the nocturnal animals frolic. Suddenly he grabbed and yanked her back by her collar as he spied the flickering light of a campfire.
“Rin stay here.” She frowned at him and answered him with a humph as he moved in front of her. Hearing the bushes rustle he hid her within the folds of his robes, ears alert as he heard the muttering of voices.
“Looky at what climbed out from beneath his rock.” Inuyasha jumped down from his perch in a tree, as the Miroku and Sango emerged glaring at the elder demon.
“I do not have time for your childish games.” Sesshomaru glared at the pup before him.
“Oh I see running away with your tail between your legs fluffy?” He was answered by a throaty growl.
“Oh what gonna beat me with one arm tied behind your back. Oh wait you’ve only got one arm.”
Sesshomaru glared as he crouched to strike his brother causing Inuyasha to smile. “Shall we try again because I do believe that I have figured out the Tetsaiga.” He unsheathed the sword.
“Insolent whelp.” With a snarl he moved to attack as the sword was drawn to strike, but was pulled back as he heard a cry.
“No! Sesshomarooooooooo!”
“Rin!” his mind screamed as the girl clung to his cloak, suddenly he stopped and turned around to face the human. Inuyasha was unable to sheath the sword in time as it drove into his brother’s back warm blood spilling over his hands. Rin stared wide-eyed at the blade that stuck out from her friend’s chest blood dripping to the ground black in the moonlight. Shocked Inuyasha pulled the blade from his brother, golden eyes wide in disbelief.
“No.” came the soft cry as the Sesshomaru slipped to one knee eyes glazed in pain, with a sudden snarl he swiped at Inuyasha claws and fangs bared.
“Stay away from her.”
“I’m not worried about her its you I hate.”
The younger demon could not explain the pain he felt in his chest as he watched his older brother fall once again to his knees, blood trickling from the edge of his mouth as he gasped for air. Rin glared at Inuyasha as she dashed to her friend.
“Child?” Sango moved closer to the child.
“No stay away from her!” Sesshomaru pulled her close.
“What don’t you like the bite of my sword?”
Golden eyes glared as he struggled for breath, standing protectively over the child.
“And really hiding behind a child is beneath even you brother. Don’t you want to play anymore?” he was answered by a growl.
Sensing his intentions Rin pulled on his cloak, “No Roo I wanna go. Hurt.” She gently touched his arm drawing his attention back to her he gave a soft smile and nodded. Scooping her up he jumped to the trees and darted away leaving the trio speechless.
“Aren’t we going to follow him?”
“Nah I can track him he’s hurt. I’m tired.” The monk and the demon slayer glanced at each other before following their friend back to camp, for a very restless night.
“My lord what happened?”
“My brother.” He hissed as pain seared his side. “Jockin some water I must clean this.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Despite their best efforts by morning a high fever had set in as the assassin moaned as his fevered dreams raged on. Rin sat wiping his forehead, sometimes brining the water skin to his lips. The rustling of bushes brought her from her thoughts as a white head with a set of snow-white doggie ears popped up.
“Ha see I found him and oop her too, she looks kinda mad.”
“Hmm I wonder why? Oh dear he looks bad.” Sango sounded sad as they entered the camp. Inuyasha looked grumpier than usual as he stared at his brother lying ill under the tree blood staining his usual pristine white crimson. Carefully and slowly they approached the fallen demon, only to be stopped by Rin holding a very large stick and looking very mad. Shippo sat quiet on Miroku’s shoulder as the monk talked to the child.
“Whoa little one we want to help, it was an accident.” The stick lowered a fraction, as she looked doubtful. Miroku continued voice calm, “we mean to help.” The stick lowered the rest of the way as she moved to allow the adults access.
Inuyasha glanced up worried as Sango gently pulled aside the cloth covering the wounds, frowning as she did so. Sesshomaru made a noise and shifted away from the ministrations. Miroku gathered up the children and went to stand beside the others so Rin could watch. Gently she hummed as she stroked the assassin's white hair as he whimpered.
“Is it very bad.” Sango nodded as Inuyasha’s frown deepened.
“Yes it is.”
“I didn’t mean…I mean I figured he would’ve dodged. He always dodged. I never really thought that I would hit him. I never thought…” he trailed off lost in his thoughts as Sango answered kindly.
“What? What didn’t you think?”
“I guess I just never thought I would actually kill him. I mean I know we fight and hate each other but. What do we need to do?”
“You basically said it yourself. Would he help you if he had injured you?” Sango looked thoughtful as she waited for an answer.
The younger dog demon frowned and looked at his brother. He didn’t really know why he hated him so much. But this was his brother his only family, and he was sure Kagome would want him to help him. But what did he want. Inuyasha growled as he thought. No he couldn’t let his brother die it had been a cheap blow; Sesshomaru had been distracted by the child.
“No we need to help. What do we need to do?”
“Right Miroku you keep Shippo and the little girl occupied while we work. Inuyasha I need you to boil me some water, we need to get this cleaned before the infection spreads. I’ll go and find some herbs we can use.” The monk and the children stayed and played a small game Rin with one eye always on her friend, refusing to travel to far away from him. Tenderly they treated the wound and wrapped it in clean cloth, however despite their efforts the fever raged on causing the dreams to return. Inuyasha looked concerned as his brother growled and whimpered in his sleep as if he was being struck time after time.
“Inuyasha what is the matter?” Miroku looked up from the game the children were playing.
“Huh? Oh nothing just thinkin’. Wonderin’ what he has to be scared over.”
“One never truly knows a person. Have some soup you must keep up your strength.” He glared at the monk who smiled cheerfully.
He stared grimly at the bowl of soup poking at the vegetables as the whimpering continued to grow interrupted by mutterings.
“No…no please…stop..” The frown on the younger demon’s face deepened as he tried to eat his soup.
“Pop..popa?” Three sets of ears perked up at this as they listened. Quietly Rin got up and went to her friend, shaking him trying to wake him.
“Roo? UP!” she shook harder a frantic look appearing on her young face as he failed to awaken.
“Child do not worry, he is merely having a dream. He does not feel well and needs to rest. Two teary hazel eyes stared up hopefully at Miroku.
“Okay?”
“We will do our very best okay? Now I do believe Miss Sango has made us some very tasty soup. Why don’t you try some and then I will tell you a story okay.” The monk was answered by a sweet smile as she totted over to where Sango was readying her bowl, smiling as Rin ate ferociously as the adults chatted amongst themselves.
Sesshomaru felt as if he had been skewered by a boar demon as he fought to regain consciousness. Groaning he struggled to open his eyes. He was met by the flickering of a large fire and the murmur of low voices, as he shifted on his patch of earth, causing a groan of pain to escape his lips. Instinctively he drank deeply form the cup that was held to his mouth.
“Whoa not too much now you don’t want to make yourself sick.” He lurched away violently from the unfamiliar voice with a resounding yet panicked growl.
Inuyasha watched quietly from a tree as Miroku and the youngsters jerked awake at the noise. Franticly the elder demon looked around as he crouched, claws and teeth barred.
“We are not going to hurt you, we are trying to help.” Frantic golden eyes stared back. Carefully Sango motioned for everyone to sit back down.
“Are you hungry?” She was answered by an angry growl. “Well I’ll take that as a no.” Her kind smile faltering as he jarred his injury causing a pain filled yelp.
“Rin?”
“Excuse me?”
“Rin!” he roared angrily.
“Roo!!!” came the delighted chirp as the little girl skipped to her protector.
“Well at least we know her name now.” Deadpanned Miroku as they all chuckled; the two dog demons remained quiet, Sesshomaru looking over Rin, Inuyasha sitting quiet watching.
Gently Rin convinced her friend to sit back down on his patch of ground and fetched him a bowl of soup, blowing on the broth to cool it as she feed it to him slowly. Slowly the injured demon fell back into slumber soon followed by the rest of the camp, unaware of the greedy eyes that watched from the darkness. Quietly the friends slept unaware of the danger lurking beyond the reach of the firelight, no watch having been set due to the presumed lack of danger.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The attack happened swiftly just before dawn. Before the friends could fully awake they found themselves bound and surrounded by at least thirty soldiers. Inuyasha glared at the attackers as they roughly tied Shippo and viciously kicked his brother, causing an agonized yelp to emerge.
“Get up you demon scum.” They pulled the elder brother up by his silvery mane. The man leered at his find before spitting on him and tossing him at the others. Soon they found themselves fitted with collars and shackles tied to each other and the wagon they walked behind, heading to an unknown destination. Due to their lack of size Rin and Shippo were bound and tied with in the cargo hold of the wagon watching as the others trudged on behind them. Rin watched sadly as Sesshomaru stumbled deliriously trying to ignore the pain that grew with each passing step.
“Hey idiot just where are you taking us?” yelled Inuyasha.
“Silence!” The crack of a whip was the only other answer.
Inuyasha opened his mouth to question again but was elbowed hard by Sango who glared. The sun was hot and high when the caravan finally stopped for a short break. A quiet slight man with a kind face appeared with a bucket of water allowing them to drink their fill.
“Inuyasha you are closet to you brother, he needs to drink something.” The younger demon glared at the monk as he moved to his brother’s side, glaring down at him as he thrust the ladle under the unresponsive face.
“Don’t you want to drink it or are you too good.” He growled as he grabbed his brother’s hair and yanked the head back irritated. “Look idiot you need to…” he paled as he gazed at his brother. Fresh blood leaked from the corner of the grimaced mouth as golden eyes stared unable to focus, pain evident in the short breaths the demon struggled for. More gently the half demon continued. “Sesshomaru? Brother? Here drink this it will help.” Finally a small amount was coaxed in as they questioned the quiet man who had brought them the water.
“So where exactly are they taking us?” Sango rubbed her sore feet as she stared at the man.
“Oh to the citadel to Lord Litana.”
“Who?” Miroku stretched.
“A great and powerful warlord and slaver. I believe you will be sold. Though you injured friend may not survive the training.” The man looked genuinely sad as he watched Inuyasha try to coax more water into the injured youko.
”We are going to be sold.” Came the three incredulous cries.
“Yes I am afraid so. That is how it is done. Those that can be sold are broken, trained and sold as prizes. Those that are not fit.” He glanced at Sesshomaru, “are either kept as pets or destroyed.” The man shuddered.
“Asha what are you doing? Get going the men are thirsty. These scum shouldn’t get water.” He kicked dirt at the demons, laughing evilly. “Rest while you can dogs we will be having a bit of fun when we arrive.” The man licked his lips eagerly as he smiled; sending shivers disgust up their spines at the slight movement.
It was not long before the troupe moved again; Inuyasha helped his brother to his feet as they started to march. Finally the pain grew to be more than the Demon Lord could bear as he stumbled and fell into unconsciousness, causing the other to shout in protest, as he was drug behind the cart. Signally a stop the caravan master walked around the back and nudged Sesshomaru with his boot.
“Humph too bad really I wanted to have a bit of fun with this one tonight. Guess I’ll just have to wait till the healers get him patched up. Pity really he is really quite nice.” He grinned at Inuyasha as he pulled Sesshomaru up by his hair and faced him towards his brother. Grinning the Caravan Master leaned down and licked up the demon’s face. “Mmmmm we will have fun.” He spat on the pale cheek as he dropped him harshly from his grasp heading to the younger brother. “But then again we do have another puppy to play with.” He winked as he called to his men. “Set up camp we stop here for the evening.” Laughing he walked toward the front of the camp.
Sighing the prisoners sagged to the floor as Asha reappeared with some bread and fresh water. “Here have some of this. I am afraid this is all I have and I have nothing for your friend.” He looked sad again.
“Thank you. You have done more than you know.” Miroku smiled as the man rushed off to give the troops their dinners as well, but not before saying.
“Do not worry, it is not much farther and the citadel has miraculous healers.” With that he vanished into the dark. It was a cold night as the friends sat close together trying to gather warmth from each other due to the lack of a fire. Gently Inuyasha pulled his brother into his lap and tried to coax some bread between the pale lips. Slowly pain filled eyes opened trying to focus on his brother. “Pop…pa?” the voice sounded small and fragile.
“Poppa I knew you would come.” The half demon in question looked up confused, as Sesshomaru sighed sweetly.
Deciding to play along Inuyasha continued, “Yes, Yes, I’m here. Now drink a bit of water for me okay.” Obediently he emptied the cup that was held before him, before continuing.
“I always hoped you would find me. I looked so long…” he gasped in pain as Inuyasha looked at the others.
“What do I do?”
“Just play along with him try to get him to rest tomorrow will be hard especially after today.”
“Popa?”
“Hush now, try to get some sleep okay.” Sighing contentedly the injured demon curled into the embrace and fell into a peaceful sleep.
“This is weird the whole thing.”
The monk and the demon slayer nodded their agreement before Sango voiced a question. “Inuyasha do you look much like your father?” she pulled the two children closer as they curled up to sleep.
He thought for a moment. “Actually I do now that you mention it. You know I never knew I had a brother till father died. He never once mentioned fluffy here.” He thought a moment before continuing. “It does seem odd doesn’t it, guess I never thought of it before tonight.” The others were quiet as he voiced his thoughts “ I was young when it happened. Mother insisted on a funeral. The villagers loved father. It was mother’s family that didn’t like us. Sesshomaru showed up in the middle of the remembrance. Now that I think about it he must not have been that old. Definitely much younger than I am now, he just walked in. Didn’t say anything just walked up to father and touched his face, and then clawed it both sides. Then he turned still quiet and walked out. He did stop though in front of mother and me.”
“What did he say?” Sango pulled Rin closer.
“Nothing to mother he just glared at her but she never said anything. Then he kneeled down and looked at me and smiled. ‘Maybe someday we will meet on better terms brother.’ Then he ruffled my ears and walked out. I didn’t see him again until mother died.” He gave a grim chuckle, “you know I haven’t thought of that day for a very long time.” The younger youko looked thoughtful as the monk gentle touched his shoulder.
“We need to get some sleep friend.” Miroku and Sango smiled at each other as Inuyasha pulled his brother closer before settling down to sleep.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
They slept surprisingly sound that night as they snuggled together, trying to keep warm in the cool air. The dawn came all to early and far too soon as they once again found themselves on the march. As the moved on one of the captains grew bored with the endless lack of entertainment, and decided to see just how fast he could make the new captures walk. Sango grimaced as the whip cracked over their heads.
"So who would like to be the first one to taste my whip?" The captain sneered as he cracked the whip again. "Hmmmm let me see." He had just settled on Miroku's back when the leader's voice could be heard.
"Naga knock it off, you know damn well that we are not supposed to harm them. They are wanted alive. Go and make your self useful go check on something, we are almost there." Grumbling Naga cracked his whip one more time and headed to do as the commander said.
Inuyasha spied as Sesshomaru started to stumble struggling to maintain his balance. Quickly he caught his brother as exhaustion took its toll pulling the demon off is feet. Easily he lifted the other onto his back as they traveled. The captives received their first look at the citadel just afternoon. It was a tall imposing image black walls jutting roughly up against the countryside, the sight of it inducing shivers that traveled up and down their spines. It seemed to glow with an eerie light as if in warning of what lie inside its walls.
They were finally brought to a halt before a set of large metal doors, and a figure dressed in onyx armour emerged to see what had been brought.
"My, my very nice indeed they will fetch a nice price." The figure looked over the group pausing at the two brothers. "Asha this one is injured see that he is taken to the healers."
"At once my lord." roughly Sesshomaru was taken from Inuyasha and taken away not to be seen again for several days.
The five remaining prisoners sat alone in the dungeons only seeing life when the meager meals were brought. Eight days later a pale but nearly healed Sesshomaru was tossed into the cell with them.
"Roo!." cried Rin as she ran to his side his long hair covering his eyes.
"Rin?" He rasped as he reached out his hand and gently touched her soft cheek making sure she was okay. She patted his head gently as one would to soothe a scared puppy, as Inuyasha spoke.
"Finally awake I see."
"Where are we?" groaned the demon in question.
"A dungeon." he glared at his brother as he groaned again struggling to sit upright.
"Goodness look at the little puppies." hissed a voice from the hallway, drawing the cells occupants' attention.
The light eyes narrowed as he spied the elder demon, recognition dawning as he spotted the markings on the alabaster skin.
"No it can't be." the voice laughed as the graveness of the situation dawned on the demon in question. "I do believe mistress fate is smiling on us. To think after all these years you have been given back to us. Well we'll see that we have a spot of fun." Running the stick the he had been holding along the bars he walked away laughing.
"Just what do they mean, 'Have you back.'?" Sesshomaru pulled Rin close as he stared off into space.
"Hey fluffy I'm talking to you, what did he mean?"
"I would think that that would be obvious to even you brother."
Miroku couldn't quite place it but the elder demon seemed shaken as if lost in a horrid memory as he absent mindedly stroked Rin's dark hair as she and Shippo played a silly game, Soon the youko eyes started to drift shut only to be jerked back open as he fought sleep.
"Sesshomaru you are still weak from your injuries, you need to rest do not worry we will keep watch." The eyes in question snapped opened and glared at the demon slayer.
"Why did you all help me?"
"Because you are my brother idiot and it was the right thing to do." growled Inuyasha.
The monk and demon slayer smiled small smiles as Inuyasha humphed at the almost inaudible thank you. Smiling as Rin scooted closer to her friend Sango finally had to ask.
"So just how did you come across Rin?"
"She helped me after the battle with Tetsaiga. I returned the favor now she tags along."
"She was most worried about you." The demon pulled the child a bit tighter against his side. Soon the pair drifted off to sleep as the others kept a rotating watch.
The guards came at sunrise. "Good morning my beauties. Who shall we play with first? Bah a woman and two children. Boss says we can't play with you anymore." the burly guard frowned. "What else do we have? Oh a monk and two dog demons huh?" the guard glanced between the brothers cold eyes settling on the younger of the pair. "Well he looks spunky.
Come on kid lets go." the guards moved to shackle the wrestling prey as he complained loudly.
"Hey damn it get your grimy paws off of me." Suddenly the biggest guard found himself face first against the bars as Sesshomaru ran hard into him.
"You will unhand him this instant." He was struck down eyes blurring as the guard clubbed him hard on the back.
"Fine you wanna play so bad lets go." Grabbing the silvery hair, fastening a chain the collar about his neck they drug Sesshomaru after them.
Rin and Shippo made up some sort of rock tossing game to pass the time. Asha brought them a meal and stayed to chat as they ate. The gentle man hurried away as he heard the guards returning.
"Well hello again." They clattered their clubs on the bars, as they opened the door roughly tossing in their burden before shutting it. 'You know your friend was a whole lot of fun, sad he wont fetch much of a price with that missing arm. But the boss said we can have 'im. So as long as he cooperates you aint got no worries." with a malicious laugh the walked away whistling and joking.
No one moved for several moments, Sesshomaru lay curled up in a ball against the cell wall, shivering dressed only in long loose shirt. Inuyasha frowned as he could not quite place the smells rolling off of the other demon. They watched helpless as the demon whimpered and moaned as his nightmares recalled the feeling of the torment. The cracks of the whips, and the sickening caresses as they stroked and pinched, forced themselves upon him, in him. Suddenly and violently he cast up the accounts of his stomach, as he tried to cast that vile substance out of his stomach.
“Roo?” Rin looked sad as she approached him, heaving trying to rid himself of all of it. He shuddered as he looked at his little friend ashamed that she should se him thus and in a place such as this.
“Don’t worry I am alright Rin.” He moaned as he tried to sit up. “We need to get out of here.” He curled up on himself as Rin cuddled up to him offering her small warmth.
“When were you here last?” Miroku asked quietly.
The monk was answered by a sigh before the demon related the tale. “When I was small our clan was attacked, those of us that survived were brought here. After a few years I was finally able to escape. I never planned to return.”
“Oh.”
“Indeed we must escape you both will be next.”
The cycle of training went for a week. Early in the morning they would come for the elder brother and in the afternoon return him beaten and abused, until one day when the guards returned early, to collect Miroku and Inuyasha. Roughly they drug the captives to a room. The walls were lined with various devices used to cause as much pain as possible.
“The master wants us to try something now on you boy. We think you will like it.” He patted Inuyasha’s head as he and Miroku were chained to the wall opposite where Sesshomaru lay shackled to the wall as well. Slowly the guards walked back over to the fallen demon.
“You two have the best seat in the whole house.” The guards laughed as the demon whimpered and tried to protect himself from a violent kick to the ribs. “Do you want to see something really fun? It is his favorite past time.”
Inuyasha growled as the man positioned himself above the injured youko, grinning evilly. “You see the lord of the castle would normally kill on injured such as him, seeing that he will not fetch a high price. But being that he is so pretty, it has been decided that he is to be kept as a sort of a pet.” He stroked the silver hair in a parody of gentleness, Sesshomaru growled and tried to scoot away from the touch, as it trailed down the pale skin of his back.
“And since this one has been a guest previously we have decided to see what he remembers.” The calloused hand wrapped roughly around the sensitive tail and pulled hard causing a yelp.
“No! Leave him alone you cowards. You wouldn’t dare if he could defend himself.” Screamed Inuyasha as he struggled against his bonds.
“You are lucky boy you were to be first but since he seemed so eager to play we decided to oblige him. Now where were we? Oh yes.” Slapping the younger brother he wandered over to the other. “Let me see, let me see how shall we play today?” He stroked up and down the white skin as if contemplating a chess move before finally chuckling. “ I think traditional today.”
He carefully repositioned the demon and undid the belt of his pants the guard’s excitement evident as he thrust violently into the injured body causing a small howl of pain as the demon tried in vain to get away from the intrusion. The other two prisoners yelled and pulled against their bonds as the guard grunted and slammed repeatedly into the demon.
“Stop it. Leave him alone!” Inuyasha growled promising an agonizing death to anyone that approached, then he heard a silky voice whisper in his ear.
“What do you want to play as well?” a ghostly chuckle, “Well that can be arranged.” A sharp stinging on the side of his neck broke him of his rant. The last thing he saw before blackness enveloped him was the guard emptying himself into the now unconscious figure and toss him used and broken onto the cold floor.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Inuyasha? Inuyasha? Can you hear me?” Miroku’s concerned face came into focus, “Are you alright?’
“Ugh.” Was the only thing that the demon in question could seem to utter as he struggled to sit up his head throbbed and his body burning. “Where are we?”
“I don’t know. They brought us down here just after you blacked out. I was worried you okay?”
“I don’t know I feel funny.” He drank the water that was held up to his mouth. “Where is my brother?”
“He’s over against the wall. He is…”
“Awake I am afraid.” Came a strained groan from the other wall.
“Are you okay?” The monk was answered by a loud sigh as the demon tried to adjust his eyes to the dim light.
“No actually monk I do not believe that I am.”
“Well don’t worry I am sure we will get out of here. Inuyasha you didn’t answer me are you okay? Inuyasha?” he turned to look at the younger demon and gasped. He had never seen his friend like this before as he sat sniffing the air, his body language taking on the presence of a predatory.
“Monk get to the back wall.” Sesshomaru some how managed to pull himself to a standing position, staring at his brother, who was now sniffing around the human, eyes red.
Something primal was evident on the usually grumpy face, as he glared at the human. “No not you its not you.” He sniffed again turning toward the elder demon, teeth bared, “You its you.” Slowly he stood claws unsheathed as he walked over to the other.
Suddenly with a feral grown Inuyasha sprang forward knocking Sesshomaru hard against he wall knocking the wind from his lungs. It was hard for Miroku to see what was going on in the blur of white hair as the brothers fought. When the battle finished Inuyasha had the elder pinned to the ground, obvious that he had the upper hand on his elder brother. Sesshomaru turned his head to the side awaiting the final blow. Miroku watched a pair of golden eyes grow wide as the final blow never came, instead Inuyasha leaned down and licked his brother’s neck, causing Sesshomaru to start fighting anew.
“No, no, no kill me but do not do this Inuyasha.” The struggling seemed to excite the youko in question as he pressed himself harder against the other. Miroku watched as Inuyasha growled and bit hard into Sesshomaru’s shoulder marking him as his . Sensing the desperateness of the elder demon Miroku moved to intervene but was stopped by a vicious growl from the youngest of the pair. In the back of Inuyasha’s mind something screamed “NO!” but something had taken over something instinctive. He needed to show dominance he was in control, not this pathetic creature below him. He had intended to kill the demon, but the screaming would not allow it, therefore he would the only way he could. He ground his erection into the thigh of the writhing figure as he claimed the mouth in a deep kiss. The younger brother growled as the creature resisted his administrations, ‘Did it want to die?’ he clawed the face as a warning the delicious sent of blood fogging his brain as he was granted easier access. Sesshomaru lay still as Inuyasha kissed and nipped at his neck. He glanced at the mortified human, he would never survive, it would kill the younger youko if he attacked his friend, and so he gave into the assault cheek stinging, he closed his eyes and prayed for it to end quickly.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Miroku watched as Inuyasha deepened the kiss and Sesshomaru went limp. He averted his eyes as the younger demon nibbled on his elder brother’s ears and throat happy growls emanating from his throat. Sesshomaru eyes did not meet the human’s but stared off into space as his tormentor traveled down the bruised chest, hissing as he felt the warm mouth suckling on the rosy nipple before continuing his way down.
Inuyasha growled, it was not enjoying this he suckled a delicate nipple causing a hiss. ‘Ah that’s better.’ He smiled as the body started to writhe beneath him. ‘Ah it likes that.’ He continued his way down kissing the flat stomach grabbing the hand that tried to bat his mouth away from its destination, exploring all the while ignoring the screaming voice in the back of his mind.
Golden eyes shut in shame as his treacherous body responded to the kisses and fondling of his younger sibling, gasping as that sensitive spot on his side was found and exploited. Desperate not to moan aloud he bit his lower lip drawing blood, as he fought the silver head trying to desperately keep it from its destination. His hand was held away as the warm mouth took in his length biting it slightly to indicate his frustration at the creature’s interference, causing Sesshomaru to whimper and then cry out as the talented tongue tended to the wound.
Miroku tried his best not to look but could not seem to take his eyes away from the erotic scene before him. He watched as Inuyasha tormented his brother who was obviously trying not to enjoy it when he heard a seductive whisper in his ear.
“Beautiful aren’t they?”
“Wha..What?”
“The demons.” The voiced laughed as Sesshomaru groaned in delight as the torment continued. “Truly such lovely creatures. And so delightfully primal.” The voice purred as a soft hand reached into the monk’s robes and began stroking his chest.
“What did you do to them?” still not able to look away as the scene unfolded.
“Nothing to both of them. But I did give the pup a treat. We did not know what effect it would have.” A chuckle, “Now we do. Isn’t it glorious.” Miroku protested as the chains clamped around him, as the soft hand entered the folds of his robes caressing his erect member. “My my, you are enjoying the show. Are you jealous?”
“No!” truth evident in his voice, “what you are doing is wrong.”
“I’m not so sure he thinks so, watch I think he is near his limit.”
Miroku turned to look as Sesshomaru muffled a cry as he emptied himself into the eager mouth. Licking his lips Inuyasha captured the mouth once again in a deep kiss.
“No little monk, don’t look away, watch and enjoy.” The grip on his weeping member tightened as it began to move up and down in slow torment, causing him to gasp as he felt warm lips on the side of his neck sucking in time with the continuing torment.
“You can’t do this.”
“Heheeh actually I think I can and that I am. I do so enjoy watching lovely things, especially when one has been returned to me.” The voiced hissed in delight as the monk moaned. “Watch the pup is in for a treat if what my guards have said is true. The elder is very talented with his mouth when properly motivated.” Miroku moaned again as a second hand toyed with is chest as he watched.
Inuyasha move to stratle the creature’s chest as he unfastened his robes, his erection springing free as he positioned himself in front of the closed mouth. He growled as he found the entrance blocked. ‘No fair’ his mind cried. Here he was trying to be nice and let the creature enjoy this and it was not willing to play. He grabbed the snowy tressed head and growled as he beat the head on the ground causing a cry to emerge from the demon, allowing access to desired destination. Inuyasha moaned in pleasure as his hips rocked with the rhythm set up by the talented mouth beneath him.
“Oh no my beauty don’t come quite yet.” Hissed the voice, the monk cried out as he felt sharp nails dig into his sensitive flesh. “We must enjoy this I am certain it will go on for hours at least.”
With a cry the younger demon thrust thrice more and emptied himself causing Sesshomaru to choke, making him lean on his side to catch his breath. He yelped as he felt himself suddenly flipped on his stomach, white tail being lifted. He fought to stifle a cry as he felt Inuyasha’s length plunge fully into his unprepared body.
Miroku on the other hand could not resist the moan that escaped his throat as his torment continued, “Hmmmmmmm you are beautiful as well. Did you know? Do you wish you could play with them? It could be arranged.” The voice chuckled as the monk moaned again. “If it is done right one might even get them to howl. It is truly delightful.”
They watched Inuyasha bite deeply into his brother’s shoulder as he drove in and out. Hitting that one special spot that set the demon’s body writhing, unable to control him self, Sesshomaru opened his legs a bit further allowing the younger deeper access. A happy growl came from Inuyasha as he loosened his bite, focusing on the wonderful sensation beneath him. Silvery hair covered the shame filled eyes as his mind fought to reject the sensual touches, he moaned as he felt soft hands on his so very neglected erection. Miroku watched as the pace quickened Sesshomaru lost himself to the sensations as Inuyasha stroked in time to his violent thrusts. Miroku neared completion as he noted the demons’ noises where now frantic. The monk and the elder demon released at the same time, their tormentors continued for several more minutes. Sesshomaru sagged limp as his brother thrust several more times into his brother’s body before tossing his head back with a yell, emptying him self in the body below then sagging down onto the other as they panted. Miroku could here the purrs of delight from his captor as his seed was licked clean from his captor’s fingers.
“You are evil.”
“Am I?” purred the voice, “And you are sweet. Oh looky he is ready to go again.” Miroku looked up to see the younger demon sniffing around the assassin as it began again. “I do believe we will have fun as long as he does. What do you say my pet?” The monk groaned as the soft hands once again stroked him as they watched.
They had no recollection of the passage of time, deep in the heart of the citadel. Exhausted Inuyasha lay curled up in a corner snoring softly as he slept. Spent Miroku looked about the cell, the other demon lay with his back toward the human, the long silvery hair stained red, he lay curled into a tight ball his tail wrapped protectively around him. Soon Miroku was lulled back into the darkness of sleep. He awoke several hours to the sounds of whimpers and growls as the soft hands were once again upon him.
“Why are you doing this to us?”
He was answered by a soft cruel laugh, “Because pet I can.” The laugh was the last thing he heard before he fell into unconsciousness.

Sango glanced worriedly at every little sound eager for the others return. It had been nearly four days since thy had been taken.
“Roo?” Rin looked up at Sango hopefully.
“I’m sure he is perfectly fine sweetie don’t worry.” She smiled at Shippo who looked sadder by the hour. He scurried over to the demon slayer’s lap as they sat alone in the darkness. She passed the time by telling the younger two prisoners stories about blossoming trees and green bright fields. A great commotion brought a halt to the lovely story as the three moved to the back wall watching the door of the cell intently, as three figures emerged.
Sango cried in delight as she recognized the forms. “Koga, Kaieta, Kagome!!! Thank God, you have to find the others, we haven’t seen them for days.” She cried as they unlocked the cell.
“Aye don’t ye worry child we will find them.”
“Sesshomaru is with them.”
“Aye?” Sango nodded.
They searched the citadel until they came to the deepest darkest part of the dungeon. Screams of terror and madness echoed through the halls.
“Do you think they are here?” squeaked Kagome as she stared at the dark hall.
“Kagome, child will ye take the children up and out?”
“But Kiate.”
“Chile please they need not be here and I dare not send them alone.”
“Hmph! Fine.” Grumbling she escorted the two smaller members to the surface and the fine warm day above.
Sango looked confused at the older woman who explained. “There are legends about this place, if they be true and they are down here she need not see.” The demon slayer nodded as they continued to search.
“My lady I found them.” The man looked ghastly as he turned away and headed out.
Sango gasped, Kaieta was quiet, and Koga growled at what they saw before them. The room reeked of blood and assault as the wolf demon sniffed at the smell. First they unchained Miroku one of the other men scooped him up and headed out with the exhausted monk.
“Here's the pup.” Called the other demon, he frowned as he turned the injured youko gently; he was covered in blood but did not seem to be injured as they gently carried him to safety before turning to the last occupant of the room.
He lay with his tail protectively over him; tell tale signs assault prevalent all over the porcelain skin. He whined and yelped as Kaieta tried to turn him so that he could be moved.
“This be his brother then.” Sango looked sad as she nodded, “Koga please fetch us some cloth to wrap him in.” The wolf demon set out to do the woman’s request as she tried to calm the terrified youko. “Hush now we will not hurt ye little one.”
“No… please…stop.” The small voice broke as he tried to scoot away.”
“Hush now.” He jus whined and yelped, not wanting to cause undo stress they left him be until the demon returned with the cloth. Several minutes the later Koga arrived with a large soft piece of linen and carefully wrapped the inured demon and joined the others at the surface.
Miroku was the first to awaken of the three and was sitting under a cherry tree as Lady Kaieta sat beside him.
“Child what happened? Ye look as if ye need to talk.” The monk gave a small smile sadness evident.
“Why do people hurt others?”
“Why child do ye ask?”
With a sigh he began words spilling out unheeded. The kind woman listened with out interruption as he told his tale, of the assaults and beatings, “but it wasn’t Inuyasha’s fault Lady Kaieta. It would kill him if he new. Lady?”
“Rest easy I believe ye. We captured the mistress of the manor. Finally we were able to get what herbs she used and were able to make and antidote for the poison. Do not worry he will be fine.”
Miroku sighed in relief, “And his brother?”
“Ah that I am not quite so sure about yet, but time will tell he is strong. Are you sad?”
“Yes.”
“That is good. I sense that he has not had much kindness in his life.”
“Really?”
“Aye dream ramblings reveal much, but look it is getting cold you must come in ye are weary, rest now.”
They laughed as they heard Inuyasha and Kagome arguing, “I don’t wanna stay in bed Kagome!”
The monk smiled as he watched them, ‘How could something so obvious be so invisible to the two people it involves?’ he chuckled as he went to check on Sesshomaru who was surprisingly awake.
“Sesshomaru you should be resting.”
“You must not tell Inuyasha.”
“Excuse me?” He was answered by a large sigh.
“Please do not tell my Inuyasha. He is kind it would harm him.”
“Is that why you took his place?” The demon nodded.
“Rin?”
“Is okay.” The demon smiled a bit and drifted back into sleep
Inuyasha visited with his brother daily, sitting and thinking. He did not notice as Miroku walked in. “A penny for your thoughts.”
“Do you think he will be okay?”
“He is improving, do not fear.”
“He took my place didn’t he?”
“What do you remember?”
The demon thought for a moment, “Pretty much right up to the sting on my neck. But I know I am missing something.”
“No my friend you are not. Be thankful for your forgetfulness.”
“I want to kill them. I know he doesn’t care for me but damn them. No one hurts my family no one!”
“Calm yourself they have been dealt with.” They sat in silence Sesshomaru’s gently breathing breaking the silence until a faint mumbling could be heard.
“Pop..pa?” Inuyasha looked at Miroku who just shrugged.
“I’m here.” He smoothed his brother’s hair away from the bruised and pale face. Glazed golden eyes peered up at the younger demon, as he stroked the pale moon on his brother’s forehead.
“I am so glad you came is brother okay?”
“Yes he is fine.” A small smile graced the tired face.
“Do you think we can be a family now that I have found you?”
“Would you like that?”
“Oh yes that would be so lovely. I am so lonely, I miss you so much.” Inuyasha looked sad as he stroked the white hair.
“Well I am glad you are here, but you need to rest now. Will you drink a bit for me?” The tired head nodded and did as he was asked, before falling back into a fevered dream.
“Inuyasha?” Miroku had remained quiet during the conversation.
“Do you think he meant it?”
“What?”
“The family part. I never thought of it before. His mother was killed, that I know. But I never thought of it before. He didn’t live with us, so where did he live?” the young demon looked unusually thoughtful as they sat quietly
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Rin and Shippo got into a great deal of trouble over the month of Sesshomaru’s recovery. Rin was making him a crown of daisies as Kaieta changed the wrappings on this wounds. She was changing the wrapping on his shoulder when the crash of a tray came from the doorway, causing all eyes to look up.
“Wha..What is that?” Inuyasha paled and pointed to the shoulder wound.
“He was bitten child.”
“I did that. Sango said that we were the only ones taken away and kept together. No!” he grabbed his brother hoisting him up to eye level. “Tell me the truth that is an animal bite and even you could not do that to yourself.” The assassin could not meet his brother’s gaze
“Damn it no! That’s what I can’t remember. The scent that I woke up to was you wasn’t it?” He shook the injured youko. “Tell me!”
“Inuyasha.” Came the pleading voice. The demon in question threw the other against the wall as he ran out of the room.
Slowly he followed after his upset brother. He found him several minutes later up a large tree watching the sunset. “Brother please come down.”
“What you want more.”
“No please come down I wish to talk to you.”
“Why didn’t anyone tell me?”
“Because it was not you. They gave you a potion.” Sesshomaru sagged tired against the tree. “Inuyasha pleas come down I don’t want to fight anymore. It was them not you. They did this, they the humans are to blame not you.” His voice broke as he fell to his knees, a sob escaping his throat, Inuyasha looked down frowning.
“They killed my mother you know. I had just been born. I lived seven years there before I escaped.” His voice wavered as he continued. “I found father, he had forsaken us for his beloved humans. But you mother’s kindness was legendary, I dreamed and prayed with all my heart that she would accept me and we could be a family, so I wouldn’t be alone anymore. But it was father that didn’t want me.” He sniffed eyes down cast. “I crept in to see you on the night of your birth you were so small.” The tears fell freely now.
“What happened?”
“He gave me these.” Pale hands fingered the scars on his cheeks, “And he had me whipped and beaten before I was exiled. I didn’t see him again till his death. I’ve been alone so very long. I guess I've always been jealous of you.”
“Me?” the assassin nodded.
“You are so kind. Father loved you. I was always alone, feared by humans, a monster a demon.” He spat the words out as he continued. “The human lover’s son. I know it is hared to believe but I thought I could make you strong. Maybe prepare you for what you would face, but you remained sweet and kind though you deny it. I asked them not to tell you. Though you hate me I knew it would hurt you. It was not your fault. It was me or your friends. I was the lesser of the evils, it would have killed you if it had been the monk.” The demon’s tears continued as Kagome held Rin back as they watched, knowing the brother’s needed this.
Quietly Inuyasha jumped down to stand behind his brother as he continued. “Rin is the first person to be kind to me for no reason.” The younger demon grew sadder as he realized the truth to the statement. He had no idea the assassin suffered so, gently he reached down and turned his brother’s face up to meet his face no malice in his caress.
“I am truly sorry, I had no idea you were so sad. I wish I could’ve been stronger and not hurt you”
“It is nothing.”
“No it is not. I wish things had been different between us. I don’t hate you. It tore me up when I thought I had killed you. I never thought I’d ever actually kill you. I guess, I just assumed that you always be around.” He gave a small smile. “Father was wrong. I didn’t know. I would like to make it up to you. Please stay and be my brother. Don’t wander alone anymore when you don’t have to.”
Sesshomaru ducked his head and asked quietly, “Do you mean it, be a family?” Golden eyes looked up hopefully tears still shining in the starlight.
At that moment it dawned on Inuyasha what it must have cost for the demon lord to open up so much. He looked so lost, gone was the arrogant assassin. Before him knelt a lost lonely child. Carefully he wiped the tears away and smiled. “Yes family. I’d like that.”
He was graced by a radiant smile as he pulled his brother into a loving hug, Sesshomaru held on as if his soul would break. The others sighed as they watched the brothers re-forge the bond that was broken so long ago. Of course they would still have spats and with these two they would need referees, but some how deep down they knew everything would be all right. The group laughed as they heard the bickering begin.”
“Owww damn it Sesshomaru why did you pinch me?”
“That dear brother is for my arm.” Their bickering could be heard but it was filled with out malice or hate. A pure heart filled laugh that warmed the soul filtered through the trees as the friends walked down to join the happy family.
