“GET OUT! GET OUT, ALL OF YOU!” shouted Sesshoumaru at all of the doctors, knocking over the bowl of needles. He shook the needles from his alabaster body and roared in frustration. The room rumbled with his low growl and he collapsed into a soft chair. He put his face in his hands and rubbed his tired eyes with the palms of his hands.
A soft chuckle sounded to his right and he looked up into the shadows with tired eyes, letting his cold mask fail. A tall youkai looking remarkably like him covered his mouth with his fist and coughed, trying to disguise his laughter.

“What are you laughing at, Jideonu?” (Tidbit: Jideonu = Gideon (in English) which means Great Warrior. End Tidbit.) Asked Sesshoumaru, again resuming his cold mask.

“You looking like a godly pin-cushion, laying there, sticking endless needles in your skin. Quite entertaining, if I do say so,” chuckled Jideonu. He sat down on the opposite chair in front of Sesshoumaru and glanced through his white bangs up at him. The smirk faded from his face and he sat back, a look of concern on his handsome face. “Tell me.”

“Its useless! I have tried so many therapies from massages to a physiatrist to this damn acupuncture!” He pulled another pin from his arm and sighed. “Nothing works!”

“Well, first off, you’re too tense to enjoy the massage. Second, if you didn’t KILL the physiatrist after you told him some of your secrets…well, that’s self-explanatory. Third, sticking you full of needles? Like that works…and fourth,” Jideonu began.

“Fourth?” chuckled Sesshoumaru. “I wasn’t aware I said a fourth point.

Jideonu held up a hand. “A moment, friend. Fourth, you have not gotten to the point of your distress.”
Sesshoumaru sighed. He was right. He’s avoided it. Well, he could never place what it was! So what could he tell Jideonu? …. The Dreams…

Sesshoumaru stood in front of the window, hands clasped behind his back as he watched the wind blow. “I have…gotten dreams of late. I do not know their meaning, but they seem to plague me night after night.”

“Tell me of these dreams,” said Jideonu.

“First, I dream of myself being left alone to myself in the dark…I am…frightened, it seems.” He seemed confused as he closed his eyes and remembered the dram. “But, this dream, it must be incorrect because I, Sesshoumaru, am never frightened. Why, the idea of…”

“Sesshoumaru, the dream?” Jideonu reminded him.

“Ah, yes, the dream… I am by myself in the dark and frightened…” He snorted at the thought. Again, he closed his eyes.

“Loneliness, I see, I see…” Jideonu nodded. “Then?”

“Then, a soft voice, like that of an angel’s and the soft, velvet touch of warm skin. And then light.” Sesshoumaru seemed to fade away. This was the best part of the dream. It made him feel safe and cared for.

“Hmm…a break in the storm…anything else?”

“Then the feel of possessiveness and wanting to protect. And…I don’t know the next feeling. Something that made my heart quicken and warmth in my body and soul.”

Jideonu pieced the parts together and clapped his hands. Sesshoumaru started and opened his eyes to look at Jideonu standing by him and smirking. Sesshoumaru raised a noble eyebrow.

“I have your answer!” said Jideonu.

“Elaborate,” ordered Sesshoumaru.

“You, my dear friend, need a woman!”

Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes. “That is the most idiotic answer to…” He considered it. No whore could ever satisfy the feeling that he needed. No simple friend could comfort him the way he needed. He needed….a woman.

Jideonu smirked and wiggled his eyebrows up and down. “Am I good or what?”

Sesshoumaru smirked and shook his head. “You amaze me sometimes, Jideonu.” He looked at his friend’s laughing eyes and chuckled.

“So the mighty Sesshoumaru, Lord of the Western Lands, can laugh?” mused Jideonu. He chuckled at his behavior.

“What do you suggest my friend?”

Jideonu smirked and had a special gleam in his eyes. “Lay a trap.”

Both smirked. “Good idea. Should we?”

“Should you?” asked Jideonu.

“Yes.” Sesshoumaru threw on his robes and headed out on his cloud to a secluded field.

Jideonu looked after him and shook his head, chuckling. “Not the first time I was right.” With a swish of his robes, Jideonu turned and headed downstairs to the dining room of the castle.
