Miroku's love and Sango's pain
Disclaimer: Nope i own nuthing :( please read and review!!!!!!!!
It was a cold, chilly night and Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo were happy
eating there dinner peacefully when Sango started to whimper, Miroku looked quizically at
her. “What is it Sango, are you feeling ill?” She doubled over and whispered, “Ooohh Miroku,
it hurts!” Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo and Kirara all turned to see Sango covered in a sweat
just before she fell to the floor writhing and in pain. “Inuyasha we must get her help, can you
carry her to Kaede?”, asked Miroku. “You bet, come on Sango!” Inuyasha said. He quickly
slipped his oversized haori off and wrapped it around Sango and slid her arms through the
sleeves for extra warmth then he gently slipped his arms under her now trembling body and
lifted her up, ever so gently. She clutched to his under shirt for all she was worth! Her cries
were heart wrenching, and someone as cold and stubborn as Inuyasha felt his heart break at
her cries.
‘What is wrong with my Sango? My dear and precious Sango?’, thought Miroku. ‘Please let
her be alright.’ They tryed to keep up with Inuyasha but he beat them to it. They eventually
caught up in time to see that as soon as Inuyasha laid Sango down, she fell limp. Kaede
heard their voices and came out to see what the commotion was about. Sango was
conscious but in slight shock and very scared about what was going to happen to her.
Suddenly, her pain was halted and she didn’t know why. She opened her heavy, tired eyes to
look up at Inuyasha who held her safely in his arms, “Inuyasha, I'm so scared. What is
happening to me? Please help me.” Inuyasha was heart broken, what could he do? “Shhh
Sango rest now, Kaede is going to take good care of you, don’t worry.”
Though deep inside he knew something was very wrong and he didn’t want to add to her
fear. Kaede new exactly what was causing her so much torment, and she knew just what to
do. While kaede was checking her over, she told Kagome and Shippo to find the Totorusai
leaf. It was the spiritual leaf of Healing. Shippo trotted after Kagome to go find some without
question. She quickly brought some back to give to Kaede to help Sango. Nobody had any
idea what she was planning to do with it. "What are those for Kaede? How will they help her?"
questioned Miroku, slightly confused. "This child, is the spiritual leaf of Healing. Oh Kami,
this will be over soon, I assure you, you will live Sango.
"What is going to happen to me? I remember those leaves! They burn! They are terrible
Kaede no!!!!" "My dear Sango, do ye not wish to be well?" replied the old woman. Sango
opened her mouth to speak when another wave of searing pain crashed into her already
battered body. Fresh hot tears streamed down her cheeks not just from pain, but from the
fear of the pain she knew was to come. "Everyone, I am going to begin the healing, ye may
wish to wait outside for her cries may be too much to bear and she most likely won't want you
to see her like this. "B but… kaede!" "Now children!" Everyone solemnly walked out afraid for
Sango's life. Sango fearfully looked up at Kaede and knew what she was going to do. Sango’s
heart rate increased rapidly and her chest began to heave in short pained gasps for air. She
was so scared and she knew what was to come.
She would almost rather die than have to endure this much. Kaede was certain that she
had a demon virus in her trying to eat her from the inside out and it was growing quickly.
Sango knew it too, but she could not form the energy to scream so she just let the tears fall
down her already soaked cheeks in a feeble attempt at bravery. But that only lasted so long,
and Kaede began to get to work. She kneeled down next to sango after preparing the paste
from the healing herb. Sango started wimpering, "Kaede whyyyy??? Please don't do this I
won't be able to handle it!! Oooh nooo Kaede oooh please no!" Kaede tried to reassure
her, "Child ye are strong and ye will be ok, just hold on." Kaede had gently yet quickly
undone the haori inuyasha had covered her with and slowly moved away the kimono to reveal
her torso and breasts. She truly was beautiful thought kaede. (Not in a nasty way, but a
gentle motherly way.) She was sweating now, and shaking involuntarily as she stared at
Kaede’s slowly approaching hand. Kaede had pushed down her kimono to her her hips.
Sango didn’t care about being exposed, she just wanted the pain to be gone.
"Alright child, I am going to put the medicine on now, it will only hurt after I say the
encantation. Be Strong." Sango couldn’t respond. She had heard tales of women in her town
who got the same treatment and almost died from pain. They had said it to be 1,000 times
worse than bearing a child wrapped in a blanket of thorns and spikes. Or better yet, being
burned alive from the inside out. Sango couldn’t hold it anymore, this girl was only so strong,
she soon had to break, "Kaede ooooh noooo I...I don't...Noooooooooo!!!” tears poured from
her eyes and she already had a huge migraine to add to it all. She covered her face with her
hands and looked away as tears silently flowed in anticipation of what was to come. Kaede
began spreading the cool paste of the leaves on her belly and chest near her clavicle. Kaede
had nothing for her to bite down on so she would have to go through this the hard way.
Kaede told her it was now time.
Meanwhile, the others had been hearing everything going on inside and were all crying
silently for Sangos pain and it took all of Inuyasha's control and will not to barge in on Kaede
and stop her from hurting Sango. but he knew it had to be done or she would die. Except for
Miroku he was silently praying. ‘ If there is a higher being out there, why? Why in Earth's name
would you put my sweet baby girl through all this, what did she do wrong? What did I do
wrong? Do you know how it pains me to hear her cries, it hurts me so much and yet you
continue to torment her, I cant have this! please help her!' "I love you sango, you are strong
and we will get throught this time in our lives." Miroku whispered so softly the last part he
almost couldn't hear it.
Kaede began the encantation "Itzana anu Itzana ani, korkutsu, kirana kirai, Shalotsai
Hectai!! Monoot!" Sango started to glow with a soft red aura (the healing aura) and she
began to convulse, she started to shake, and all of a sudden, she arched and screamed the
most deafening scream anyone has ever
heard “aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” “Nnnooooooooooooooooooo heeeeeelp!!! OHH
KAAMIII!! ahhhhhhhhhhh!!" The pain was so great that she couldn’t even cry. It felt like
10,000 hot volts of lightning had hit her while 1,000 firy swords punctured her belly over and
over and over. All of a sudden, she began to hyperventilate as the pain eased to an ebbing
throb and she could feel it battering her up inside.
Blood oozed from her wrists and she started choking on blood. Kaede thought , ‘It is
working, just as it should, soon she shall be well.’ “hold on Sango child, hold on it's almost
over” “nooooo..” cried Sango. ::COUGH::COUGH:: She started sputtering and choking on her
blood and it started coming out her eyes like tears. The demon inside her was dying and it
was the demons blood being repelled from her body, not her own. She started seizing and
pretty soon the wave of seemingly neverending pain came to a dead halt leaving only a
distant ache. Her muscles were sore from the trauma. She couldn’t see, hear nor contemplate
her suroundings all she could do was sob uncontrollably. Poor sango was so confused, she
knew what happened but she was so dizzy.
Kaede tenderly wiped the mixture of blood and tears from her eyes and cleaned her up
completely. Then, she draped a warm blanket around Sango's tiny frame and lay the girl by
the crackling warmth of the fire. Sango felt as if she had run miles without water. She let the
black take over as she slowly slipped into much needed oblivion. She was not dead but
unconscious and Kaede knew she would wake in the morning. Kaede cleaned up, said a silent
prayer for the brave girl and went to get the others who were now worried out of their wits as
they could only hear what was going on. Miroku had been praying the entire time. He walked
in followed by the others and knelt down by Sango. “How brave you are, my sweet Sango.
How brave you are. You are the strongest woman I know and I do hope you will awake soon,
I love you sango I love you my precious baby girl.”
He wrapped his arms around her softly and kissed her forehead. Which was still covered in
a thin shean of sweat. Miroku didn’t care, he loved everything about her, sweat, blood and
all. It seemed as if she had never felt any pain at all she looked so peaceful, just like a
sleeping angel. Inuyasha stroked Sango's head and quietly whispered to her, "You fought a
hard battle tonight Sango and we couldn’t be prouder of you. We love you. Just get better
soon ok?" With that said, Miroku silently let a tear stream down his face realizing just how
much he loves this woman.
