Chapter 1- Room of Requirement and the Bone Eaters Well

Remus Lupin stormed out of the library, flinging his bag over his shoulder. “The nerve! Honestly!!!” he hissed. Luscious Malfoy had just announced to the whole library, his ‘ailment’ and now Dumbledore and McGonagall were using memory charms to smooth it over. He reached a deserted corridor and began to pace back and forth, mumbling to him self. ‘I need some place to go, I need to get away from it all. I wish I could go somewhere where no one knew about this...’ On his third time past, a door suddenly appeared in the wall. “What the...” he stared at is, not sure whether or not he should be afraid, surprised, or curious. He decided to check it out, and tentatively pushed it open. It was completely empty, except for a small wooden well that looked about 100 years old. “What the heck?” he pulled out his wand just in case and approached it. The door slammed behind him and suddenly all the torches in the room flickered, and went out. The well began to glow a mysterious lavender color as he got nearer to it. He finally reached the edge of it when long, ghostlike; hands appeared, followed by arms with the same ghoike ike appearance. “Gya! Impedimenta!” he yelled. I jet of purple light shot out of his wand, and severed one of the hands. The other one writhed and shot out at him, grabbing him by the throat. It pulled him forward and he tripped over the hem of his robes, falling into the well; school books and all.

It was like he was floating in space for a while, then suddenly, he landed with a hard thump on the ground of the well. He looked up, and instead of seeing the stone ceiling of Hogwarts, he saw a bright, open sky. “What? Where am I?” he stood up and started to climb out. After struggling out of the well, he sad, back against it, resting and looking around. He was on a large grassy hill, surrounded by think forest. ‘Maybe this was a portal to somewhere in the forbidden forest?’ he thought. But just then he heard a rumbling, and the grounded started to shake. Something large and greet burst from the shaking earth about 30 feet from the well and him. It was a gigantic centipede, with the torso and head of a woman in the front. It was speeding right at him, 5 hands out stretched, and an arm with a bloody stump where a hand might’ve been. He stood up and started running as fast as he could, in the opposite direction. He pointed his wand over his shoulder. “Stupefy!” he shouted, and red light shot out of his wand straight at the beast. It hit her green shell, and she stopped for a moment, but then started again. “There has to be a weak spot!” he said backing away as quickly as he could. “The face!” he exclaimed. He pointed his wand directly between her eyes. “Reducto!” His wand shot a small explosion of light at the fiend, hitting it square in the face. It was knocked back, hissing in pain. It turned, and started to speed off in the other direction.

“Few...” he put his wand back in the pocket of his robes, and looked around. “Well, no use in staying here..” he turned and headed into the forest to explore. After walking for quite some time, he came across a small, canopied clearing. In the middle was a great oak tree, and there seemed to be something red on it. He moved closer and saw that it was a boy who looked his own age, but had large dog ears on his head instead of human ones.

He had a sudden urge to touch them, and when he got closer, he noticed that there was an arrow in his chest. He gave a small ‘oh’ and looked at they boys closed eyes. ‘He looks as if he’s only asleep, but...’ he grabbed the arrow and gave it a small tug. It came out, and there was a sudden burst of white light. Nothing happened, so he decided to examine further. He climbed up a tree root, and leaned against the boy, so he could reach up and touch his ears. He giggled to himself. “The feel just like dog ears” he petted them some more. “It’s a pity he’s dead...” Just then, the boy stirred under him, and opened his eyes. “Gya!” Remus shouted, falling backwards off of him. The boy looked around and then fixed Remus with a stare.


“Who are you?” he asked coldly.

“M-my name is Remus Lupin...” he said quietly, open mouthed.

“Why did you release me?” he asked narrowing his eyes.

“I-I didn’t mean to. I-I mean, the arrow, it came out, and. your ears. And” Remus was crawling backwards.

“Did you free me just so you could kill me again?” he hissed.

“N-no. again?” Remus was thoroughly confused now.

“Yes, don’t you remember dear Romulus? You bound me to that tree with your magical arrow 100 years ago. Or did that slip your mind?” he was now glaring at Remus full on.

“M-my name isn’t Romulus, it’s Remus, and why would I kill you? I don’t even know who you are!” Remus stood up and pulled out his wand, for the boy looked ready to pounce.

“Well if you’re not Romulus, then what are you doing here?” he advanced on Remus.

“And how could you free me?” he was now towering over Remus, who had his wand pointed in between the boys eyes.

“I-I don’t even know!” Remus shouted, stumbling backwards. “I didn’t mean to come here, those hands pulled me down the well, and then that centipede chased me into these woods, and I don’t know how I freed you!” He was trembling.

“Well then, that’s good enough for now I guess. Put that stupid stick away!” the boy yelled. “By the way, I’m Inuyasha. Oh, and never touch my ears again, or I’ll have to slit your throat, got it?” he said towering over Remus.

Remus nodded and put his wand in his pockets again. “Err, so, how come you were dead a minute ago, but now you’re alive?” he asked slowly.

“I dunno, it’s your fault anyways.” He said glaring at him. “You mentioned something about a evil centipede earlier, right?” he asked pulling Remus to his feet.

Remus nodded. “She pulled me into the well, and then almost killed me. I managed to cut one of her hands off, and then I hurt her badly enough for her to run.”

Inuyasha laughed. “You? Hurt a fiend? You’re so scrawny, how did you manage that?!”

Remus pulled out his wand, smirking to himself. “like so, watch.” He pointed his wand at a tree. “Flipendo!” he said. The tree was ripped from its roots and went soaring through the air about 10 feet, before landing with a thud.

Inuyasha gaped at him. “How the hell did you do that?”

“It’s called magic.” Remus put his wand away and looked smugly at Inuyasha. “I see your way of fighting is brute force, am I right?” he asked.

Inuyasha nodded. “Watch this magic boy” he said. He ripped a tree out of the ground and threw it 20 feet into the air.

“Wow, impressive” Remus said clapping. “Now that we’ve both demonstrated our power, what do you say we go find that fiend and show her who’s boss?” he suggested.

Inuyasha nodded. “Climb on my back, you cant run fast enough. And leave your bag thing here, we can come back for it later.” Remus nodded, and hid his bag in a bush. He climbed on Inuyasha’s back and clung on, wrapping his legs around his waste. ‘He smells nice...’ he though, burying his face in Inuyasha’s hair.

‘This feels good...’ Inuyasha though, as he ran towards her scent. ‘This Remus kid is pretty cute, and he can fight. I’ll have to make him my mate.’ He mentally decided.

Inuyasha took off towards lady centipede at full spirint the weight of remus on his back vertually nothing. 'he feels nice against me' inuyasha thought as he came close to their destination. Inuyasha came to a halt in front of the town that was slowly being destroyed.

Remus took in one last whiff of Inuyasha's hair and jumped down, pulling out his wand. "Omigod! Inuyasha! We have to help them!!!"

Inuyasha gave a nod and took off toward the demon slashing it wits cls claws. Inuyasha looked around to see how Remus was doing. He felt some thing strange for the human who looked so much like the human who had trapped him.

Remus shot a stunning spell at the fiend, hitting one of her hands which exploded. He shot another at her and it hit an arm which also exploded. He looked over at Inuyasha and blushed when he noticed that Inuyasha had too been looking at him.

Inuyasha noticed Remus staring at him and turned way to continue fighting the demon centipede. 'Damn he’s so alluring, why is he looking that way' Inuyasha thought.

Remus smiled inwardly and shot another stunning spell, hitting her square in the face. She stopped moving completely and say still. "Quick Inuyasha!" he said running to stand next to him.

Remus winced, the centipede had managed to get a small bite at his right arm, it wasn’t too bad, just stung a bit. "No, not really..." he replied.”Hey, what’s that?" he asked motioning to a shining jewel in the heaps of carcass.

Inuyasha looked around, "What? Why don’t you go and pick it up". Inuyasha had an inkling to what Remus might have saw but didn't want to jump the guns Inuyasha looked at the bit of blood on his fingers from Remus’s arm, making a note to help Remus get that bandaged up.

Remus shook his head. "No need..Accio Jewel...” he said and the shiny thing flew into his grasp. He held it up and examined it. "What is it?" he asked Inuyasha.

Inuyasha shrugged, "Here, give it too me, let me see it closer". Inuyasha held out his hand for the jewel hoping that this human would be foolish enough to hand it too him.

Remus was about to place it in Inuyasha's hand when he pulled away slightly. "I...no...” he said simply.

Inuyasha blinked, "what did you say?” Inuyasha felt his frustration rising, he was so close tot he jewel; all he need to do was rip apart the human and take it. But he felt some thing for this strange human; he wanted to only use violence as a last resort.

"I..." Remus blinked at him and backed away, tripping over a hunk of centipede flesh. "I can't!" he yelled trying to back away quicker.

Inuyasha let a small growl escape his lips, "Give it to me now, I don’t want to hurt you, but I'll tare your silly human body apart if you don’t give it to me". Inuyasha closed in on Remus, the distance between he both of them quickly shortening.

Remus shook his head and pointed his wand at Inuyasha. "NO! GET AWAY!" he had tears in his eyes. "Flipendo!" a small burst of feeble light shot at Inuyasha, knocking him back a few feet. 'For some reason I feel I need to protect this with my life.. .’ he thought.

Inuyasha growled and got to his feet, "just stay still and this will be alot easier". Inuyasha got to his feet and lunged at Remus with the intent of slashing Remus in half. 'The jewel will be mine’ Inuyasha thought.

Remus clenched his eyes shut. Suddenly a single word came to him. He didn't know how or why, but he yelled it. "SIT!" he screamed.

Inuyasha well to the floor with a loud thump. "ooowww" Inuyasha moaned. Inuyasha climbed to his feet, "what the hell did you do that for!". Inuyasha got to his feet and darted towards Remus.

Remus shook his head violently. "SIT!" thump. "SIT!" thump. "SIIIT!!!!" THUMP.

"Ahhhhhh! my back! you basterd!" Inuyahsa whined form inside a six foot deep hole. "oh gods and think you put my back out! i can't get uou lou little fuck, owwwwww, jeese, i hope your happy, spat. ugh, i got dirt in my mouth! errrrr" inuyasha yelled from he bottom of the hole.

Remus, realizing what he had just done, scrambled down into the hole and knelt next to Inuyasha. “ohmigod I’m so sorry! He said lightly running his hand over Inuyasha’s arm. “I..I just cant give you this jewel, I don’t know why and..I’m sorry...”

"owww, my damn back, i cant stand, oh hope your really happy" Inuyasha growld as he tried to stand up, his knees unwilling to support him. "now i'm spending a night in a hole, i hope your very proud of your self, jerk" Inuyasha said as he fell again giving a loud yelp as he hit the ground with his sore body.

“No, don’t move you’ll only make it worse. Hold still...” he placed his hands at Inuyasha’s shoulders and began to rub small circles. “I’m really sorry, I didn’t even know I could do that...”

"Sure you didn't that’s why you used it over and over again, oww, be gentle, or do you plan on rubbing holes in to my back?" Inuyasha whined as Remus rubbed his back. In reality he didn't really mind it, he actually quite enjoyed the sensation of the other boy’s hands on him.

Remus smiled down at him. He rubbed more gently and leaned down, placing his lips mere inches from Inuyasha's ears. "Sorry" he whispered, blowing slightly into them.

Inuyasha's ears perked as they felt Remus blow on the slightly, "w-well you should, you know, b-be more damn careful!"Inuyahsa stuttered as other things begain to get perky. the smell of the strange human was nice, alluring.

Remus chuckled rubbing lower on Inuyasha's back. "I will, don't worry..." he flashed Inuyasha a cute grin.

Inuyasha grumbled and tried to move his legs closer to together as some sort of concealment, "just go away, i don’t need a stupid hum rubbing my , ahhh! Ouch, be careful!” Inuyasha sat there trying to think his way out.

Remus smiled and helped Inuyasha into a sitting position, leaning Inuyasha's back against his chest for support. "Well i'm not going to leave you here all by yourself all night, you're injured!" he said as he began to rub his shoulders again.

Inuyasha growled and grabbed the injury on Remus's arm pulling the boy down n front of him, "oh and like your not bleeding?". "You full of bull shit, just leave i don’t need you taunting me, i mean... i don’t need you sitting there watching me... i mean err... just go away" Inuyasha growled crossing his arms like a stubborn child.

Remus pulled his arm away and crawled up in between Inuyasha’s legs. "NO!" he shouted right in his face, sending Inuyasha tumbling back into a flat position. Remus crawled over him so that he was inches from his face. "It's MY fault you got hurt so I'M going to stay with you whether you like it or not!" he yelled.

"ehhh uh, um, would, get off" Inuyasha said his voice unusually high as he felt Remus's body close to him. "g-get off" Inuyasha said as he tried to push Remus away.

Remus slipped a little when Inuyasha tried to push him away, landing flat on top of him. He felt something pressing into his thigh and immediately blushed. "S-sure I’ll get off. but i'm not leaving your side all night!" he shouted crawling backwards.

"agh, your a stupid human! a really stupid human! Leave me alone! you wound my back then torment me, go away!" Inuyasha yelled as he got up and fell back down again witha yelp, his back still causing him pain.

Remus ignored him and put an arm across his chest. "STAY PUT OR YOU'LL JUST GET HURT YOURSELF EVEN MORE!" he looked into Inuyasha's golden eyes. "Besides, I'm not tormenting you! you dolt!"

Inuyasha started getting jittery as Remus touched him, "get off!" Inuyasha said as he scrambled out of the hole and towards the woods in slight pain, his body was quickly recovering but he wanted to be no where near Remus. He was just walking through the woods back to his tree hoping Remus wouldn't follow.

Remus watched Inuyasha as he scrambled out of the hole. 'nice arse..' he thought as Inuyasha ran into the woods. 'feh, I've known him for half a day and I somehow knew this was going to happen....' he stood and scrambled out of the hole. 'Well, I cant let him in there all by himself at night now can I?' he asked himself. He started of into the woods towards the tree he had found Inuyasha on.

Inuyasha walked towards the hot springs, they would be good for his back and he could loose Remus in all the steam. His back already felt allot better, but it would be a bit longer till he was back to full strength. Inuyasha took off his clothes and hopped in the water, swiming out to the rocks and hiding behind a particularly large cluster.

Remus made his way into the woods. After walking for about an hour he could swear he passed the same bush shaped like Madonna at least 4 times... 'god damn it where am I!?' he stumbled out of a think bramble into a small clearing with a large hot spring in the middle. And that's not all he found, Inuyasha was sitting naked a few feet away. Luckily he hadn't spotted him quite yet.

Inuyasha scrubbed him self, it had been quite a while and he was sure the human had just given up and gone back to the village. His hand slipped under the water for some stress 'relief'. He closed his eyes and sank further under the water letting the steam rise up in to his face, his sense of smell only picking up the soothing vapors.

Remus watched, wide eyed as Inuyasha began to...pet himself...'oh gods....' he felt himself begin to grow hard.

Remus looked at him with fear in his eyes. “I’m sorry, I went looking for you because I was worried and then ...I ..Saw you... “Tears pricked at the corners of Remus’s eyes.

Inuyasha let out a tired sigh, "what do you really want?". ashaasha could feel Remus's soft arms under the fabric, the idea of feeling out what the rest of Remus was like was becoming a tempting idea.

Remus nodded slowly, arms gripping the insides of his robes for comfort. "Y-yes..." a tear slipped out of his eye.
