If anyone has a suggestion, I would love to hear it. If anyone has a complaint, I would suggest ya
tell me what it is. since in Ancient Japan they only spoke Japanese, I am NOT going to use Japanese words,
Incase It's someone's name. I also can't think of a name for the Goddess. If ya know of a good name, please
tell me the name and the meaning/translation. Until then, everyone will refer to her as God, Goddess, Lord,
Mistress, etc. But I really need a name. Kagome is in her second year of Highschool, so she is wearing the
Highschool outfit. If ya can convince me to, I will add you to the story. Just e-mail me a reason at:

Now to the story.

The Statue
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Ow" Kagome squeaked, as she pricked herself on one of the numerous spikes jetting from the
ruin's walls. `Why did Inuyasha have to drag me here? It's not like the shard is invisible. I told him it's in the
back of the old castle, but he still had to drag me in these ruins. And now by a sweep of luck, I am
hopelessly lost, in a damn maze no doubt' She thought angrily. "Inu-" She stopped and thought better of it.
‘Inuyasha said quote "If you need my help, don't scream or yell, it will only attract them." And I DON'T
what to attract any demons attention.'

Too Late. A demon heard her, and quietly stalked towards Kagome. `So beautiful. I will enjoy
tasting her blood on my claws.` Kagome sensed the demon and turned towards it. There hidden in the
shadows was a pair of striking yellow eyes.

‘I can't look into it's eyes, Inuyasha said if I did I would die!.' Kagome thought in horror.

"Well, here it is" Inuyasha said as he walked up to the destroyed stone steps.

"You're kidding. This place is an old, abandoned, ruined castle. There can't be a shard in here"
Sango said as she came up from behind.

"No It's not abandoned. It is inhabited by a dangerous specious of wolf, known as the Silver Death
Bringers" Inuyasha stated as he looked at the horrified faces of his friends.

"S-silver D-d-death B-bring-gers!!" Shippo sputtered out. He really didn't want to go in there. "I
don't want to go in there!"

"Why? Ya scared?" Inuyasha asked while smirking/

"OF COURSE I AM!!" Shippo spat back.

"Well, whatever you do DON'T look into their eyes, if you do they will paralyze you and slowly
kill you. They also use poison, so be careful. If you need my help, don't scream or yell, it will only attract
them." Kagome gulped loudly, as the little group walked up the old worn stone steps of the castle.

And now she was face to face with one of the wolves. The wolf bared his ghastly pure white fangs.
She took the hint and sprinted as fast as she could down the halls of the ruined castle.

`I looove chases` The wolf thought as it chased after.

Kagome ran as fast as she could, trying to avoid hitting any walls or spikes. She occasionally
would tear her clothes on spikes or jagged rocks. She ran down many halls and went down the occasional
staircases. Right behind her was the wolf who was hiding in the shadows as it ran.

Kagome stopped for a second to catch her breath, and the wolf pounced and tackled Kagome.
"EEEEPPPP!!" Kagome screamed as the wolf pounced. The wolf clawed her back, and bit her legs.
Kagome kicked the wolf in the head. The startled wolf yelped.

Kagome quickly removed her legs from under the wolf's body. She got up and looked at the wolf.
She could barely she it in the dim light of the torches of the room. It was a big silver wolf. It's teeth were ningning, even in the dimness of the light. It's muzzle was bleeding were Kagome kicked it. She limped as
fast as she could. In the distant she could hear more wolfs howling, as they drew closer. Kagome heard this,
and totally forgot about the pain in her legs, and ran for her life. As she ran, she could hear the wolf she
kicked get up with a tremendous growl. Kagome ran down some staircases, but tripped on a vine emitting
from the ground.

"AHHHHHHH!!" Kagome screamed as she went tumbling down the stairs. She hit the ground with
numerous ‘cracks' and ‘pops'. Here body ached all over. She could hear the clatter of the wolf's nails on the
stone floor, as it ran down the stairs. Kagome got up and limped until she came to a dead end. `NO' She
thought in horror, as she noticed she couldn't escape.

She remembered how in movies people have trap doors that the hero usually finds by feeling
around the wall. 'It's worth a try, It's not like I have any other choice.' She felt around for ten seconds, and
hit a Lever of some sort. The door swung open hitting Kagome in the noise. "OUCH!!" She heard the wolf
getting closer, so she limped as fast as she could down the spiral stairs.

Her body was becoming numb from all the pain. The stairs were getting smaller and smaller as she
went downwards. It also became slipperier too. She slipped on some moss, and slid downward like she was
going down a really long, slippery slide.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" She screamed as she spiraled downward. The wolf reached
the edge of the stairs when she slipped, and watched her slide down. It's muzzle followed Kagome's rapidly
disappearing form.

Kagome was gaining speed rapidly. Then out of nowhere a ledge appeared and she slid right of it.
She hit a wall and bounced off and hit another and then another and so on like a pinball machine. The wolf
winced every time she hit the wall with an ouch, ouch, ouch. The wolf then turned around and left.

Kagome shot out of the shoot, and crashed into a wall. ‘How am I still alive?' (A/N She's still
alive!! It's like she's a female Keitaro (Guy From Love Hina), because it's like she's immortal ^0^) She
peeled her face from the wall and was amazed at what she saw. She was in a giant room. It had vines
littering the walls. There were blue balls of light floating around in the air, and giving off blue light. The
stone walls, ceiling, and roof looked new.

She walked a few steps and then looked to the back of the room. She walked up to it. It was a stone
statue of a young woman who looked around Kagome's age. She had a dagger thrust right were her heart
should be, and the look on here face was filled with many emotions. In her hand was a long, dark blade, that
had a crest of a blood red color right next to the handle.

The dagger was a bright silver color. It had a dog that looked like Sesshoumaru in his true form
twisted around the handle. There were strange words written on the blade, that were glowing the same color
of blue as the glowing balls.

She was speechless.

She carefully walked closer, keeping her ears perked Incase to hear something, like that damn
wolf, coming back to get her. She slowly inched her hand towards the dagger. She was within a foot of the
dagger when the Shikon No Tama Shards started to glow, but being as bashed up as she was, and to
interested in the dagger, she was oblivious to it's action.

She closed the last centimeter of distance between the dagger, her eyes wide with curiosity. Her
fingernails made a little clicking sound when they touched the surface. She stood there, wide eyed, huge,
curious smile on her face, and her hand touching the dagger. She stood there for a few seconds.

When nothing happened, her smile turned to a pout, and her eyes narrowed at the dagger. She had,
had her hand on the dagger for a full minute, but nothing had happened. No explosion, no flashing lights,
not even a reaction at all.

She took her hand off the dagger, turned on her heel, crossed her arms over her chest, and started
to walk away, mumbling something about cheap glowing daggers, and no reaction at all! She still hadn't
noticed the Shikon No Tama Shards glowing, until it started to blind her. She could see another bright blue
light coming from behind her. She turned around and saw the dagger, intensely glowing.

‘Finally, a reaction!' She thought to herself. The light kept getting brighter and brighter, until the
whole room was filled with light. Kagome covered he eyes with her arms and hands. The light died, and
Kagome removed her hands from her face. She looked around, the blue lights were gone, and the dagger
was no longer glowing. The Shikon No Tama Shards had calmed down too. "Well at least something
happened." She mumbled to herself.

She looked at the stone wall that had the girl on it. It had a numerous glowing cracks starting at the
point were the dagger was thrust in. The cracks started to grow, crawling around her body.

"Oh no! I broke it!" Kagome gasped. The cracks kept growing and growing until, it seemed as
though everything stopped for a moment. The cracks were glowing bright white, now encircling the statue.
Kagome could see the statue of the young girl, had wings and a tail. ‘It must have been to dirty for me to see
it. The statue suddenly exploded, and pieces of rock were sent everywhere. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Kagome screamed as she was pierced with many sharp rocks.

when the rocks stopped assaulting her, she looked up, and was horrified at what she saw. It was a
young woman, or so she thought. It was hard to see under all the fur.

Her whole body was covered in white fur with silver stripes, crystal blue fur gloves, stomach, and
feet. The being was at least 7 feet tall, with giant feathered wings reaching about 10 feet each, each had
zigzagging crystal blue
streaks. She had two half foot ears coming from her head, the ins wes were also crystal blue. She had a
ginormous (A/N: I don't even know if that's a word. -.-;;) tail laying on the floor. Its tip was crystal blue,
with silver, stripes coating it. At her neck she had a collar of crystal blue and silver fur caressing her neck.
Her face looked somewhat wolf-like. All her hair was long and uneven. Her eyes were stunning, they had
small black pupils and were surrounded in black. Her eyes were mostly a white-hot fire color, with dabs of a
lush sea blue. Kagome noticed that she looked old and worn out, and wherever there were chips, she was
missing that part of her body. (A/N: You know how a statue will have chips, and cracks, well the statue did,
so now her fleshy form (-.-;;) has that part of her missing.)

She was wet with water, and was naked. She had a light blue color were all the cracks were, and
hoarsely cracked out "Shikon No Tama, give me back, give me back!!" She walked towards Kagome,
slowly dragging her feet, which Kagome now noticed were long and slender, used for jumping and running.
She also was supposed to walk on her toes, but wasn't.

‘Just think how tall she would be if she walked on her toes.' Kagome now pictured a chart of her
height, 5' 9", compared to the demons height, about 7 feet, then pictured her raise to her toes and go from 7'
to 7'7. Kagome gulped. She noticed the Shikon Shards glow again, and looked up to see the beast reaching
for it with hey crystal blue hands.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!" Kagome screamed and fell right on her butt.

"Give me back, give me BACK!!" The demon croaked.

"G-give you b-b-back what?" Kagome asked trying to inch away until she hit the wall.

"Give me BACK!!" The demon grabbed the Shikon No Tama Shards, and pulled them away from
Kagome. Another light blasted from the Shards, right at the demon. She was engulfed in light. When the
light died, she was still shinning. Her hair evened out, her nails grew sleek and sharp, her posture
straightened, her wings grew larger and stronger, her body became youthful looking, and all the chips
disappeared.

"I am back, I the Goddess of the Silver Wolves!!" She howled with a radiant voice, that echoed,
for what seemed like forever. She stood on her toes, and as she did all the hair on her body disappeared
except for her crystal blue gloves and tail. Her wings shrank into her body, her feet looked like normal
human feet, and her face became more humanly as her ears shrank and lowered down her face, and long hair
covered her scalp. When she was finished, she looked human except, for her tail, crystal blue gloves, eyes,
fangs, nails, and long ears. Oh yah, and the fact she was like 7 feet. A piece of pure white silk wrapped it’s
way around her body. It encircled her hips, and hang in the front and back. One wrapped around her torso,
and was slung over her shoulder. Her tail was also wrapped in the snow white silk. Her hair was a light
brownish color, with a little bit of blonde mixed in. She had two long cowlicks, framing her face. Her bangs
hung over her eyes, giving them an evil look. All her other hair was cut slightly upwards, starting at her
cheekbone. When she turned her head, her air seemed to glow white.

She looked at Kagome and then the jewel. "This yours mortal?"

Kagome hesitantly shook her head ‘yes'.

"It will be mine as soon as I kill you." She said, her voice like silk. She picked up the red crested,
dark blade, and was about to swing when she stopped, inches from Kagome's skull. "I shall spare you, since
you released me. No. I will give you a gift, a gift you will enjoy greatly." She smiled at Kagome. She took
the blade from Kagome's head. "Azusa Men Kaii Lou to Saysei" The red crested blade glowed and changed
to a red crested dagger. It was still black, but now it had inscriptions on it.

Kagome seized the moment and grabbed the Shikon Shards from the goddesses hands, but the
goddess didn't notice, to busy with the incarnation. Kagome slowly got up and inched away, but was
stabbed threw the stomach with the black dagger.

"What is your name?" She said as she held the dagger in he hand while it was in Kagome's
stomach.

"Ka... go... me" She whispered as she fell to the ground. The goddess was about to take the Shikon
Shards when someone screamed,

"KAGOME!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER YOU BITCH!!"

The goddess looked up to see a man wearing a fire rat haori, with long white hair, and white doggy
ears.
