Kagome sat down on the edge of the tub 'It wasn’t supposed to end up like this' she thought. In her hand was the test her mom had bought for her, and on it: a blue line. Her eyes swelled up and she started to cry. "It can’t be, no. It’s impossible." She screamed at her reflection in the mirror. "Kagome" her mother called from the kitchen. "Your bag is packed, you better get a move on" "im coming" she placed the test in her towel and put it in her bag. She put on her backpack and headed toward the door. "kagome wait" her whole family stopped her at the door. "Well" her mother asked. "It was positive" she kissed them good-bye, ran and jumped into the well.

~*As she faded into the vortex into the feudal era, she thought about what has happened in the past few weeks~*

The sun rose from its slumber as it made its appearance over the horizon. Over in the western lands, Sesshoumaru stirs in his chambers as Jaken enters the room. "ord ord " jaken stutters as he cowardly stumbles up to his master. "Me lord? Sesshoumaru? Your meal is ready" he turns and walks out the door as Sesshoumaru rises and follows him to the main hall. As he enters, so does rin who has grown quite fond of her lord. "Lord Sesshoumaru, how are you faring today? This rin has heard you when you stir in your sleep" Rin said as she let her smile fade. He didn't reply, his cold expression turned sour as he just glanced coldly at his child. rin got scared as she put her head down and attempted to ask what displeased her lord so. "Many apologies my lord, but you seemed disturbed and you made the most unpleasant growls..I got scared." Rin finished as Sesshoumaru rose to his feet and walked over to rin's location. With his clawend hnd he gently lifted her chin as to look her in the eyes, "Rin yeed eed not worry about me so much, you could call it a bad dream. I'm fine." With hearing this, rin perked back up to her normal state, and skipped out the room to go play."Jaken!" Sesshoumaru said in an annoyed voice. "Go with rin, and keep an eye on her". "Hai, my lord Sesshoumaru, it shall be done." Jaken chased after the pesky brat, trying to keep up as rin giggled out of the manor. There was something wrong with Sesshoumaru, neitneither Jaken nor rin could cure him of his plague. 'That woman. The woman who travels with my weakling half-brother. She haunts my dreams with her criticized remarks and her intoxicating smells.' As he thought about her, his member became hard and he growled in disgust. 'Damn human wench! I must rid my self of these thoughts and images.' He left without saying another word and went to claim what was going to be his...his Kagome.
