Chapter one- The dark side of the heart
What if Inuyasha made a mistake that could cost him his one true love to someone who he hates very badly. It would piss him off to no end that’s what it would do *Laughs a little* Well, I really hope ya enjoy this. ^^

‘He doesn’t love me!’ Was Kagome thought as she walked through the forest and bangs in her eyes. She had once again caught Inuyasha with Kikyo, but this time it was a lot more than normal. They were kissing and starting to get into the whole mating act, that was until Kagome walking in on them. She still couldn’t look at Inuyasha in the face now.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ FLASHBACK ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Kagome walked towards the well and sighed to herself. Her and Inuyasha had shared their first kiss and told each other how they had felt. But Inuyasha had run off fast a few hours ago, and she was starting to get worried. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo said he was fine and that she should stay there, but Kagome went anyway. She wanted to tell Inuyasha that she had to go home for a few days because it was her grandfather’s birthday and she wanted to be there with him. Sighing to herself again she walked into the clearing of the well but what she saw made her heart turn to ice and shatter into a million pieces. Inuyasha and Kikyo were half-naked and Inuyasha was all over her. Kagome felt tears stinging at her eyes but she wouldn’t let them fall. Slowly turning around she walked off in a different direction. But getting to a certain distance away she started to scream.
“HAVE FUN WITH YOUR WHORE! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN!!!!” Kagome screamed and took off running away from the man she thought she had loved, crying her new shattered heart to the world. “He never loved me, he only used me! The only reason since I look like Kikyo!” She sobbed loudly and continued to run.

Shouting behind her made her stop and turn towards it. Her body was numb with emotional pain, so she didn’t even care who came after until she saw red and silver flying at her. ‘Of all the nerve!’ she was foaming inside now as Inuyasha appeared in front of her.
“Kagome! I-I can explain!!” Inuyasha tried to sound like a begging puppy but the look in Kagome’s eyes told him that the woman he had come to love didn’t want to look at him. He bowed his head and let out a soft whimper.
Kagome still had her back turned to him and her hands clenched even more drawing blood from her own palm. “Oh! So screwing around with Kikyo while I’m not here is what you call fun! I thought you loved me!! I thought we had a future together!! But I was wrong, all you will is cause me more pain THAN I NEED!” she turned around and slapped him with all her might. Tears were following out of her eyes, “Yo-you… told me… you loved me… and I believed you… I was such a stupid fool…” she said between sobs and then walked up to Inuyasha, she reached up and took his rosary off and threw it at the ground. “There! You’re free of me! Aere ere are your precious Shards!” she threw the bottle to the ground and walked past him, her body gave off dark vibes now, “I never want to see you again, and if I do… I will kill you…” She walked away leaving a stunned Hanyou standing there with nothing to say.
He couldn’t believe what she said; She didn’t think he loved her. He loved her with his whole soul! Why the hell did she think that he wouldn’t lo-Kikyo, he had been caught with her. He didn’t understand why he wanted to see that woman, maybe guilt, or even sadness. But he loved Kagome with all his heart and he needed to win her heart back, but then the threat she gave him a few minutes ago sent chills down his spine. “She… wouldn’t kill me!” He took off in the direction that Kagome had went, he was scared for his life and her own. ‘Gods! Kagome, I promise! I will get your heart back! If it’s the last thing I ever do!’
The forest was quiet, the way Kagome liked it. No annoying Hanyou’s to put up with. She closed her eyes and fell on her rump in the soft grass, and admired the sky. “It sure is a nice day…” she muttered to herself and sighed a little. It took her awhile to notice that she had walked a lot father than she had thought. Kagome shrugged it off and sighed a little, then slowly got up and slide her shoes off and ran her feet through the damp grass, “Hmmm… Must have just rained here…” she muttered to herself but heard a twig snap and her attention went towards the area. What she saw made her eyes go super wide. “Ses…sesshoumaru…”
