chapter 1 confession
{prologe}
Inuyasha used his backlash wave and sent naraku’s true form into the cliff side causing a rockslide to pin him down. Before naraku could get up sango threw her bonemerang and sliced all eight of his spidery legs off causing to cto cry out in pain. Kagome then took the opportunity to shoot him in the eyes with her arrow. The arow hit it’s target and blew his head to bloody bit’s not satisfied mirouku held out his cursed hand and sucked the lifeless body of the demon into his wind tunnel. it disappeared immediately as the last part of the spider demon was absorbed into it. Kagome picked up the last of the jewel fragments and set them in her bottle. She then placed it in her pocket and they all headed for keade’s village.
It was a cool summers day as the group sat for the last time around the fire pit. Kagome was staring at inuyasha who had made a wish on the whole jewel for kikiyou to rest in peace. She was a little saddened by the look of remorse on his face. He noticed that she was staring at him “what do you want kagome?” he said rather gruffly. Her expression changed to anger and she answered back heatedly “since when do I need permission to feel sorry for someone”. She got up and walked away. Inuyasha blew up this time his face turning red “where the hell do you think your going?” he got up quickly to chase her if need be. “I’m going home” she said and before he could answer she screamed “SIT” “ARRRRRG” . She then headed through the fields and then though the trees to the well. Inuyasha wasted no time he got up off the ground his face smeared with mud and ran after kagome.
It made her so mad when he acted like this every time she thought she’d get through to him his emotional wall went up suddenly and he became angry. “Why can’t he ever show his true feelings” she shouted as she dropped through the blue light to her world. She hit the floor of the well with almost no sound at all. She was glad when he brother put a ladder down the well so she could get up easier. After leaving the small well house she walked to her house and walked in. Immediately after she entered the house souta ran up and hugged her. “Did Inuyasha come with you?” asked souta. “NO!” she screamed and ran up stairs to her room slamming the door behind her. She was so mad she couldn’t even concentrate on her college forms.
Inuyasha sat next to the well thinking. ‘Why does she have to look at me that way it’s not like I care that she’s worried about me’ thought inuyasha. A voice in the back of his mind disagreed with him ‘liar you care about her don’t deny it’. He shrugged his thoughts away and stood up, care or not he needed to apologize. He leaned his feet over the edge he whe well and jumped in, after reaching the other side he jumped out into the well house. He opened the door to the outside and was shocked to find kagome’s mother standing there as if she was waiting for him.
“Inuyasha I need to talk to you” said Mrs. Higurashi. “Yeah about what “ said inuyasha kinda gruffly. She just smiled and motioned for him to sit down on the bench next to the old god tree. He sat down. “You really hurt her feelings today” said Mrs. Higurashi “she likes you a lot and you need to show her that you do to, and don’t deny it becau see see the way you look at her” she smiled slyly at this remark. inuyasha hung his head “is it that obvious?”. Mrs. Higurashi smiled “yep”. She then left him to his thoughts.
He sat pondering what she had said letting it sink in. After a few minutes of thinking he stood up and bounded up the tree to kagome’s room window. He looked inside and noticed that she wasing ing on her bed with her face in her pillow. He could tell she was crying by the way the air smelled. It was a salty sweet scent. The scent he triggered on was the sweet one it was her feminine musk and he loved the smell of it. He sat and watched her cry wanting so badly to comfort her. He made up his mind and slowly opened her window making sure she wouldn’t hear him. He plopped silently on her floor and slowly waked over to her. “I’m sorry” he said.
She nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the voice after turning around she saw the worrienyounyou standing over her. She tried to hold back the tears butldn’ldn’t manage. Then he did something totally out of character he touched her cupped her chin as a matter of fact. He then slowly pulled her to stand with him. “Inuyahsa what are you......” she couldn’t finish as his lips met hers in a soft but pleasant kiss. He pulled back “I’m sorry I was such a jerk to you I just can’t stand to see you so worried or sad” before she could say anything to reply he said” I love you kagome and I always have” she started to tear and he suddenly became worried “did I say something wrong?”.“No inuyasha you didn’t I love you too” she rushed into his body and hugged him lovingly.
Inuyasha and kagome came down to eat dinner. Souta was annoying them with his idol worship of inuyasha. After sitting down at the table Kagome and Inuyasha both atesilesilence while her mother and souta talked about souta’s day at school. Grandpa had gone out for the evening to bless someone’s house from evil spirits. Inuyasha finished eating first and slowly moved his hand over to hers.
Suddenly kagome’s fel felt warm she glanced down to see inuyasha holding her hand. She turned her hand slowly and curled her fingers around his. He stroked the skin of her hand with his thumb. “Kagome could you help with the dishes?” asked Mrs. Higurashi “yes mom” said kagome. She started to stand when she felt inuyasha squeeze her butt. She screamed and it made every one jump. “What’s going on” shouted her mother. She quickly shot inuyasha an evil glare “nothing” said kagome and wandered into the kitchen to help her mom.
Inuyasha couldn’t help but laugh at the reaction he got from her no wonder mirouku enjoyed it. Then he suddenly stoped when he heard his name”uh-oh”. “SIT” screamed kagome into the dining room. His face landed flat on the ground. “shouldn’t have pushed it” said souta. Inuyasha got up and surprisingly he wasn’t mad. “Yep” he agreed “went to far with the laughing although I think she enjoyed the other part”. Inuyasha froze and relized what he siad. “what?” said souta “the fact that you touched her butt”. He turned a bright shade of pink and joined kagome in the kitchen.
He snuck up quietly behind both Higurashi women and was about to poke kagome in the sides when he heard a voice from in front of him. “Inuyasha don’t you dare” said kagome. “How’d you know it was me?” asked inuyasha a little disappointed. “ you always do it when I’m not looking and besides I can smell the ramen all over you”. He looked down at his shirt and sure enough it was drenched in ramen. He’d eaten so fast he poured some of the noodles down his shirt. “You need to remove your yakuta so it can be washed” kagome’s mom replied . Inuyasha went over to the counter and removed his red robe folded it neatly and set it on the counter. He was still wearing his white under garments which looked a lot like he was wearing two sets of clothing.
Inuyasha and kagome were in kagome’s room getting prepared for bed. Kagome took the shikon jewel and hung it around her neck so that it wouldn’t get lost. She went into the bathroom to change into her nig.whi.while inuyasha just slumped in the corner fallisleesleep almost immediately untill kagome came out wearing the most revealing thing he’d ever saw. It was a pink whith lace straps that showed off her rather large bust. they were pretty big for a {twenty one} year old thought inuyasha. The nighty continued down unti sto stopped just an inch below her butt. She turned out the light then bent down to get in her bed and he noticed that her panties matched the nightie perfectly. He was getting very aroused so he looked away trying to control is bulge in his pants. She noticed that he looked away losing the hold she had on him. She then decided to do something else.
As he sat there trying to control himself he smelled something wonderful in the air. It was a scent he’d noticed a couple times when he held on to her to protect her from demons. Inuyash realized what it looked like and quickly got out of the bed and rushed to the corner “sorry” he said berfore burying his head in the corner not wanting to face this embarrassment. “You didn’t happen to......” she was cut off abruptly by heughtughter “no mom we didn’t I just wanted to cuddle with him” she quickly placed her hand over her mouth shocked and said no more. After an hour of talk whith mothmother kagome and inuyasha got her stuff together and headed to the well. As Mrs. Higurashi watched her daughter go through the shrine door she suddenly herd a voice behind her.” I wouldn’t worry about her she’s grown up and can make her own choices. Besides they love each other” the voice came from grandpa.
