Chapter One
Another Monday, Another work day.

Monday morning 6:00 AM: ~Alarm~ *Meep Meep! Meep Meep!*
Kagome sighs rolling over in her bed, not wanting to wake up for work today, after being tired from last night’s advents..
She put a pillow over her head trying to drown out the sound of her annoying alarm clock.
Finely after getting tired of hearing the noise she punched the snooze button and sat up in her bed.
Sighing, Kagome mumbled "Another Monday, Another workday."
She drowsily got up out of her bed; stretching some she walked over to her bathroom for a quick shower and then to brush her hair and teeth.
After her morning routine was done she went to her dresser to find her work cloths.
After she was dressed Kagome hurried down stairs, to find a pot of coffee and some toast and eggs made.
Grabbing a cup of coffee and some toast Kagome sat down at the table as her loving Fiancé Miroku leaned over and kissed her on a cheek and whispering.
"Morning sleeping beauty, 'bout time you woke up." He said with a seductive grin on his face.
Kagome blushed at Miroku and took a sip of her coffee.
"You know Miroku, It's been several months since we've been engaged. When are you going to take time off with me to plan a wedding?"
Kagome said.
Miroku looked at her and shook his head.
"My dear Kagome, Times have been very rough at the office lately. Some of our workers have been slaking off lately and business is as hectic as ever."
Kagome sighed sadly while looking at her future husband to be.
"But what about Inuyasha and Sango? They've been working their tails off. And they're planning there wedding already! Surly their work counts for something?"
Miroku smiled some.
"Yes my love it does. But I’m still swamped. I have a business meeting I’ll be in all day for the next four days. And Saturday I have to fly out to St.Louis with an offer for Kouga Gen-san, Head of the Banking for all of Illinois. And I won’t be back til Wednesday.”
Kagome pouted and looked at her half empty cup off coffee.."Ok Miroku..Atleast can you try and make time for us for the week after next love?"
Miroku nodded some, "I'll see what I can do Kagome, for now we have to get to work!"

Monday morning 7:35 AM (Inuyashas and Sangos Apartment):
Sighing Inuyasha looked at him self in the mirror one last time as he fixed his shirt and threw the tie away.
“Only way Miroku and Sango will get me to wear a tie is if they tackle me down and hog tie me and super glue it on me!”
He mumbled as he heard Sango.
"C'mon Inuyasha! We're going to be late for work!" Sango yelled into the back of the Apartment to Inuyasha.
"Ok, Ok woman! I'm coming!" Inuyasha yelped as fixed his slacks some and brushed his long black hair and putting it in a ponytail and then slid down the hallway, almost knocking Sango over "Hehe, Sorry love. No breaks?" Inuyasha cracked a lil hesitant smile to the already frustrated Sango. Sango never knew how she could ever love Inuyasha. But she just did, even though sometimes she questioned how and why.
Sango just shook her head at Inuyasha and sighed.
"Inuyasha, What am I ever going to do with you?"
Inuyasha replied happily, "Marry Me?"
Sango smiled some "Yea sure, now come on lover boy! We're going to be late for work!"
Inuyasha and Sango rushed out of the door into Inuyashas 1986 'T Bird'.
"Inuyasha, when are you ever going to get rid of this hunk of metal and get a sensible up to date car like the one Mirokus got?"
"Um.. never?" Inuyasha replied with a half smirk on his face " And besides! She isn't a hunk of metal! She could make Mirokus car kiss dust any day!"
Sango shook her head and sighed once more. "Whatever lover boy; Can we just go now? We're going to be late!" Inuyashddeddded and started the car, heading off onto the freeway and onto work.

Monday morning 8:00 AM (Monks & Hara banking corp.):
Kagome and Miroku walked in the corp. as they did always, Hand in hand.
Then parting with each other with a brief kiss and heading to a different elevator.
Sango and Inuyasha on the other hand today rushed in like every day right at the nick of time.
Inuyasha saw Kagome and Miroku part into different elevators and didn’t want to wait for the one after Kagome’s.
So Inuyasha shouted to Kagome "Hey! Kag, hold that elevator would you?!" Before pausing for a second to give Sango a nice tender lil kiss.
"Bye Inuyasha-babe! Have a good day!" Sango shouted and ran off to catch the next elevator for the other side of the building; since Miroku didn’t have the time to hold his elevator for her.
Inuyasha ran into the elevator with Kagome and smiled at her sweetly, which made Kagome blush.
Kagome had always had a secret crush on Inuyasha, Every since they were in high school together.
And secretly Inuyasha had always had a crush on her too.
But neither of them ever had the guts to admit it to one another.
And now she's engaged to Miroku, and he, Sango.
"Gooooing up?" Inuyasha said, which snapped Kagome out of her daze.
"Yep! Same floor as usual Hara!" Kagome said sweetly.

Inuyasha is the Co-owner of M&H, him, Miroku, Kagome and Sango have all known each other from their high school and college days. Kagome had known Inuyasha and Miroku since high school. They’ve always had a great friendship. Kagome met Sango in college. They’d been roommates together so she had decided to introduce her to the boys.
Inuyasha and Miroku had been planning a banking business since high school and since they’d both decided to get a business major in banking and accounting.
The business that they have built has grown very exceptionally fast over the past 5 years.

Monday morning 8:11 AM (Top left side of M&H corp., floor 350)
*DING DING!* Sango felt the elevator stop on the '350' floor.
She walked out, seeing Miroku smiling sweetly at her.
"Hello my dear Sango, How're you today?"
Sango smirked a little at her boss.
"I've beend. Id. Inuyasha and I have been spending a bit of time working on our wedding plans!"
Miroku pouted some.
"Oh..That's good." He said, trying to sound as happy as possible for her and Inuyasha.
Miroku had always fancied Sango and has admitted it several times over the years.
But she always thought he was a liar and a pervert so had ignored him.
Even though sometimes she secretly wished she'd went out with him all those times he’d asked her.
Sango smiled widely. "Yep! Oh, by the way Miroku. Your meeting With James and Jim Demy has been moved down for the next hour!"
Sango said to her boss as she sat behind her secretary desk and started clicking on some keys on her computer.
"Oh great, I’m always notified at the last minute!" Miroku said a bit angry like.
"Sorry Miroku, I tried to call you yesterday to tell you...But there was no answer!"
Sango said while clicking more keys at her computer.
Miroku blushed some. " Oh..Ok...Never mind then..Notify me when they arrive."
Sango only nodded as she continued to file yesterday’s work on her computer.

Monday morning 8:12 AM (Top right side of M&H corp., floor 311)
*DING!* As soon as the elevator stopped.
Inuyasha sighed and walked out.
Kagome followed 5 steps behind him.
Kinda like a lost puppy following a future master.
"Another Monday, Another work day" Inuyasha said sighing more.
Kagome giggled a bit."Yep Inuyasha! Another day you get to spend with me!"
Inuyasha smiled at her. "Well I guess it isn't too bad then is it."
Kagome has always had a child like sense of humor; she could brighten up any room and any day with her glow.
I guess that’s one thing Inuyasha likes in her. –Teehee-
"Oh Inuyasha, I forgot to tell you that your brother called yesterday, and that he'll be here to see you today during your lunch b." ." Kagome said as she started walking towards her desk.
Inuyasha smirked.."Hmm...Ok Kagome, thanks for telling me.." ~I wonder what the wan wants this time~ Inuyasha thought to him self..
Kagome, Like Sango was also a secretary. They had both studied in the same fields in college. -Tis how her and Sango met, hehe-
Kagome sat behind her desk and turned on her computer. Answering a few phone calls like normal as the day went on like it always does..

This is my First fan fic I've ever written. Please be nice with reviews. ;-; I have four chapters his his done so far and I'm just now posting them. So please review and tell meh what'cha think. Oh yea and I'd also like to thank my Fiance Matt for helping me with this. Trust me, This story would totally suck without him. ^-^;;
