The Betrayal

Tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick… Kagome didn’t know clocks could be so SLOW. She sighed… I miss InuYasha… she thought… I wish I was with him… but exams are today and I have a date with Kouga. I will not let him ruin my day. But I wish he was here…
BRI-I-I-I-I-I-ING the bell jarred her out of her secret thoughts. She did miss him… but she had to get to math. She hurried out of the room. Kagome shook her self, putting all thoughts of both Kouga and InuYasha out of her head. She was failing math and needed to concentrate. She made it in just as the bell rang. Close one. She plopped down onto her seat and started to copy the assignment…
It was after school and she was walking to the well for her date with Kouga. She had almost made it through the door of the shrine when there was a loud BANG and she was thrown back.
When she came to, she was on a comfortable bed… in a dark, locked, cave. She sat up on the bed… and yelled.
“Kuso!” Man that hurt… she was sore all over from falling off the steps… and getting bumped around in a car as she was kidnapped. She had realized by now that that was what had happened. She had been kidnapped. Though by who or what she had no idea… BANG The door flew open and a masked man walked in. Though he was more like a boy…
“Get off the bed.” He barked in a strangely familiar voice…
“Kouga?” Kagome asked incredulously “What the heck are you doing here? Wait… you kidnapped me?”
“Yes. Now get off of the bed and get over here!”
“Why should I?”
“Because I said so, and the kidnapper’s word is law.”
“Then I’m breaking the law.”
“You will live to regret this,” he said gruffly, marching out the door.
“That certainly went well” murmured Kagome. “If only I had some of Shippo’s mushroom seeds… or Myoga with me to go for InuYasha….”
“You called?” said a little voice from outside “I’ll be in with the seeds in a second,” there was a wrenching sound and a few of the bars on the door popped apart. “Hi Kagome!” said Shippo, “I scattered the seeds on my way over, so InuYasha will see and come rescue you any time now.”
“Thanks Shippo!” she said, giving him a peck on the forehead “Youx max magic can be very useful.” With that she curled up on the bed and went to sleep. A long time later, she woke up. It was dark outside, and she could hear waves… she fell asleep again to the sound of the waves. The next time she woke up, she cried out.
“Wha…! Get off me, you pervert,” she said, shoving Kouga, who then fell off of the bed, “Am I just a toy to take the clothes off of and have sex with?”
“No. You’re not just a toy. You're my toy.”
“Well, somebody’s been trying to learn to be heartless,” she said in a false bright voice, “But cruel kidnapper rapist really doesn't suit you.”
“We certainly are cheery. Expecting to be rescued?”
“Would it be your business if I was?” she said, trying to distract him. He gave a snort and walked out.
“You are expecting to be rescued, and that worries me.” He gave a parting shot: “Don’t you like your date Kouga?”
“Not when he has kidnapped and attempted to rape me.” She called after him as he marched out. Kagome heaved a sigh. “Why can't he be ordinary and be mad and yell and threaten to dump me?” she asked the air “Why does he have to kidnap and rape me?”
“Because he has mental problems.” stated Shippo, climbing out from under the bed, “InuYasha wouldn’t rape or kidnap you.”
“I’m not sure on the kidnap part…” said Kagome “He might.”
