Who or What is Kagome?

"Sit!"

THUMP!!

Kagome stormed off towards the well muttering under her breath about a certain half demon. She jumped in and continued muttering. "I was gonna let him come to my era with me but nooo! He wanted to go find some more jewel shards! Well I am going to spend Halloween with my friends!" Kagome searched through her closet and pulled out a black leather mini skirt and a black leather halter top. She changed into them quickly and put on some black leather boots that reached her knees.

"Mom? Did you get me that cape and hat?" Kagome asked her mom as she entered the kitchen.

"Yes dear. They are sitting on the couch."

"Thanks mom." Kagome said and grabbed the black witch hat and cape. She threw them on as she walked out the door. Her friends were already waiting. Kagome got in and sighed. *I have a feeling this is going to be a long night!* "So. Where we going?"

"Well we're were planning on going that new dance club. That sound good to you?" Her friend with the headband who was dressed as a cat asked.

"Yeah!"

They reached the club and started dancing. After an hour or so they sat down and ordered some pizza. "Man, I'm so glad we came to this party! I needed to get out and have some fun!" Kagome exclaimed. Her three friends smiled at her. Just then the pizza came and they each took a slice and ate.

One of Kagome's friend pulled the waiter to the side. "Hey bring us some drinks." She whispered something else and the waiter returned with some drinks. "Drink up!" All four drank and Kagome spit it out.

"Hey! Are ya trying to get me drunk?!" Kagome asked loudly.

"Not drunk but to loosen ya up!"

"Yeah! You said so yourself that you needed a kinda break."

"Don't worry Kagome. A few won't kill ya."

"If you say so." Kagome sat back down and continued drinking the beer.

Later....

"Bye....Ka...gome!"

"I....guess I'll.....see ya....some other...time!" Kagome giggled as her words were slightly slurred. She got out of the car and walked towards her house. *I think I wanna talk to Inuyasha. I'll surprise him and hide my scent! That'll teach him to order me around!* Kagome concentrated on her energy and hid masked her scent. Clumsily she jumped into the well and land on her butt. "Ouchies!" Kagome giggled as she rubbed her rear.

She climbed up and wobbled a bit. She looked in front of her and saw Inuyasha. But then he blurred and turned into Koga. The form kept changing to Sesshomaru, Naraku, Hojo, back to Inuyasha and Koga. Kagome gave up trying to figure out who it was. The guy was walking towards her slowly. *I can have a little fun!* Kagome giggled again and wrapped her arms around the man and she pulled him into a kiss. Then she passed out. The man leaned her against the side of the well and left a little confused.

*I could smell and taste the alcohol on her breath. The girl was drunk. Hmm. Strange woman. Why would she be playing in a well in the middle of the night?* He remembered the outfit she was wearing and also remembered how it didn't leave much to the imagination. He grew hard. *Shit!*

The next day....

Kagome woke up with a pounding headache and her back hurting. She heard shouts from really close and that wasn't helping her headache.

"Hey mutt-face! Where's my woman!?"

"Mutt-face?! You mangy wolf! She ain't yer woman!" Inuyasha drew his sword and began to attack at Koga.

Kagome stood up slowly and sighed angrily. "SIT BOY!"



"Hey Kagome! How's my woman doing?" Koga ran up to her and took her hands in his.

"Koga, how many times do I have to tell you? I'M NOT YOU'RE WOMAN!!"

"SEE?!" A recovered Inuyasha yelled angrily.

"Inuyasha leave him alone!" That's when both men noticed what she was wearing. They both gaped at her. "Take a picture. It'll last longer."

"Huh?" They both asked confusedly. Then they heard wolves howling and a scream. Suddenly a little girl was running towards them with a small pack of wolves behind her. She tripped and fell.

"Koga! Don't let you're wolves hurt that little girl!"

"Alright Kagome." Koga whistled and the wolves reluctantly stopped their attack. Kagome ran to the little girl. She was weraing a white and orange kimono and some of her hair was pulled into a lopsided ponytail. The litlle girl hugged Kagome tight.

"Thank you lady! You stopped the wolves from trying to kill me!"

\t'st's your name?"

"My name is Rin."

"Hi Rin. My name is Kagome. Would you like to come with me to get cleaned up?"

"Uh...sure!" Kagome picked up Rin and carried her to the well.

"I'll be back later. And Koga, please leave. Now." Koga nodded and left. Kagome jumped into the well and then climbed back out. "Alright Rin. We'll just get you a bath and then put some bandages on your cuts. Then we'll go back. Alright?"

"Okay!" Kagome put Rin down and held her hand as she walked up to her house. She was about to barge in when she heard her mother talking. Kagome motioned for Rin to be quiet and she walked to where she could hear better.

"I don't know how to tell her. She needs to know where she's from and about her....real...family...."

"Well....you have until her 17th birthday. But still that's only week away." She heard her grandfather's voice. There was silence and Kagome took that chance to walk in. She acted as if she didn't hear anything.

"Hey! I'm back! Mamma, this is Rin. I'm going to get her cleaned up. Could you have some clothes waiting on my bed for her? And wash her kimono?"

"Sure dear." Her mother replied cheery. She was still slightly shocked that Kagome had just entered the room. *Did she hear anything?* she thought to herself. Kagome took Rin to the bathroom. She turned on the water and waited as the tub filled up. She had Rin set her dirty clothes on the counter for her mom to grab and told her to get in. "Do you need help?"

"Can you wash my hair please?"

"Sure." Kagome grabbed some shampoo and began srubbing a small amount into the girl's hair. After her hair was rinsed and all the dirt washed from her body, Kagome wrapped a towl around Rin and told her to wait in her room. A few minutes later she returned with some of her little brother's old clothes. Rin put on the slightly baggy t shirt and shorts. "Your kimono is being cleaned okay? Now I need to find some clothes...." Kagome looked in her closet. *Oh no! My clothes haven't been cleaned! All's that is left are a few pajama pants! Oh well. I'll just have to wear those. I am NOT wearing this back to the feudal era.*

Kagome quickly changed into some dark blue pajama pants and an oversized black shirt and went to check on Rin's clothes. They were clean. Rin changed back into her kimono and they went back to the fuedal era. "Well Rin.... Where is your family?"

"My family died several years ago. They were attacked by wolves."

"Oh."

"KAGOME!!!" A ball of fur hugged her tight.

"Hi Shippo. How have you been?"

"Inuyasha was being mean and he hit me on the head!"

"Well Shippo. Would you like to play with Rin until we find out where she is from?"

"Yeah!" Shippo cheered and he started to teah Rin how to play tag and hide and seek. The three played for several hours before Kagome plopped down on the ground. Rin and Shippo laid down next to her and they stared up at the clouds. Eventually they fell asleep.
