Love and War

Chapter One

"We've found him, Sir!" Kohaku walked over to the monitor and sighed. "Thank Kami. I thought we'd never find him. Know, to find someone to go undercover."

Rin and her best friend Ayame walked up to the metal doors of the Central Command and pressed the intercom button to signal there arrival. The huge doors opened and there Commander pulled them inside.


Without delay he said what he needed to say. "Be proud, you have been selected to go undercover." Rin and Ayame nodded waiting for their specific orders. Kohaku turned to the screen/monitor and explained.

"We have found the one who contains the Military data. You lovely young girls are the only operatives we have able to pass for high school students."

Ayame’s mouth opened and dropped. "High school students? I have never been to high school I don't anything about it!" Rin placed her hand on Ayame's shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile, than turned back to her commander.

"When do we leave?"

Kohaku smiled always knowing Rin would never pass up the chance to work undercover.

"Tomorrow." His bookie ran over to them and gave them each a picture of the target and all his information. Ayame, who had calmed down greatly, bowed respectfully. Rin smiled, bowed, and walked out with Ayame.

"Name: Tohru Sesshomaru, Age: 18, Family: Was adopted into the Tohru family and has a little brother named Inuyasha who is one year and 1 month younger than him. School: Tioji High school." Ayame jumped onto her cot in the room she shared with Rin. She through his picture at her and smiled as she flipped over on her back.

"Cute, huhShe She smiled knowing Rin would like him.
"And we have to be his protectors." Ayame could help it; she just started laughing at the fact that they would have to protect a guy a muscley as him. (A/N: I don't even know if that is a word.)

Rin looked at the picture. It was true, he was extremely handsome. With his long silky-white hair and those piercing yellow-gold eyes and his masculine body. All the same she would never admit it.

"Focus on the task, not the men."

"Oh come on."

"We can't get involved with the target!"

Ayame frowned at Rin. "I know, I was only stating the obvious facts. Anyways, don't you think we should pack? You know since we're leaving tomorrow..."

Rin smiled and went over to her closet. "Yeah." She took the suit case out of her closet and over to her dresser. Her eyes quickly moved to the paper Commander Taijiya had given her about the mission. Her eyes widened as she saw the word, sisters. She picit uit up and read aloud.

"Since you are our youngest operatives in the base we are sending Sergeant Mioto Kyoshi with you to be a teacher there. You will report back to him once a week and receive your orders. Since you will be living in the same apartment you will need to act like...sisters. You will take on the last name Itaru. "Ayame mearly nodded as Rin started on her packing.

(In there new Apartment)

Rin hurried to get into her school uniform and remembered why she had joined the military instead of going through this everyday. "Come on Ayame! We're going to be late for classes!"

Ayame jumped out from her room. "Ready!" Rin, nerves about her first day back at high school, grabbed Ayame and bolted out the door.

As they walked into the school they were amazed at how well- kept the school was. After about 15 minutes of searching the whole school for there class they finally found it. The teacher stopped talking as the girls walked into the room. "Ah, you must be the new Itaru girls, Ayame and Rin."

They nodded and Rin suddenly felt self-conscience as she noticed the guys staring at them. She scanned the room looking for Sesshomaru and saw him....looking straight at her. The teacher pointed to 2 seats near him and a black haired guy.

"You can sit over there next to Sesshomaru and Miroku."
Quickly she whispered. "Watch out for Miroku. His hands have a wondering problem." Ayame and Rin giggled as they took there seats.

Sesshomaru looked over to the 2 new girls and leaned over towards them as the teacher, Mrs.Kyou started to teach the class about math. (A/N: A nice teacher that teaches math? Is that possible?) "Hi," He spoke to the girl with the Ebony hair, "I'm Sesshomaru."

Rin smiled not knowing if she should greet him or yell at him telling him to get an education. "Umm...Hi. I'm Rin G...Itaru."
Sesshomaru smiled as he talked with Rin all through math class.

(At Lunch)


Sesshomaru looked around the lunch area for the girls; he had invited them to join him and his gang for lunch and hoped they would take him up on his offer just so he could get to know that Rin girl better. So far they had been in all his classes and whenever he turned to look at her, she was always staring back at him.

Rin walked out to the lunch area and was glad it was outside because she couldn't stay cooped up in the building for much longer. She looked around the lunch area looking for Sesshomaru and found him by the trees, surrounded by lots of people.

Ayame looked at Rin and she stared at Sesshomaru.
"Hey lover-girl aren't walking over there now?" Rin blushed furiously at what she had called her and nodded as they walked.

Sesshomaru had Rin and Ayame sitting next to him on either side as he introduced them to his gang.
"This is Inuyasha, "He said pointing to his silver-haired brother. That’s Kagome and Songo," He pointed to the 2 very independent women right across from him. "That’s Shippou and Kouga," He pointed to them each in turn and when he got to Miroku he paused. "And that...you want to stay away from..."

Miroku got up and went over to Ayame and grasped her hands in his. "Will you do me the honor of baring my children?"

Ayame smacked him and rolled her eyes in disgust. Kagome and Songo laughed at the pervert and watched as he tried the same with Rin, but was smacked down even harder.

Ayame looked oto Rto Rin and gave her a "nice going" smile. Rin smiled to everyone except Miroku. "OK mental note stay away from him." Kagome looked at her watch and gathered her things. "We better get going the bells about to ring." And sure enough right after she said that the bell rang to get to there last period. Ayame, Rin, Sesshomaru, and Kouga said goodbye to the others as they mad the way west. Sesshomaru looked at Rin and Ayame. "So what do you have next?" Ayame checked their schedule. "Next is... Physical Science." Sess couldn't believe it they had yet another class with him and Kouga. "Well it's down here..."

Kouga stopped to let Ayame walk into the room before him and took that time to admire her ass. Ayame, sensing something was up, turned around and saw him. Kouga stood there. Closed his eyes and waited for the slap to come, but it never did. When he opened his eyes he saw Ayame sitting down in the back of the classroom and her cheeks had a light pink tinge to them.

Rin noticed this and smirked. "Looks like my 'sister' has found a love." Sess looked to Rin. "Maybe you will too." Rin looked at Sesshomaru startled at what he said. 'What did he just say?'
