The Conflicting Desires

A/N: This is only our 2nd fanfiction and
we are writing our first one at the same time. So maybe this one is really our
first...who's to say. Anywho keep an eye out for more
and send suggestions, we'll get better, we promise. Yes there are two of us, we
are not skitzos...or are we?

Narrator:

We last leave our heroes in the mist of a big battle, a personal
one that is. Kagome has once again been caught by Inu
Yasha, with another man. She was only talking
to Koga, but Inu Yasha
still refuses to forgive her. Unfortunetly she cannot
return to her own world because Sango and the others
are wounded from a recent encounter with Sesshomaru;
they still need her help.

Kagome:

I don't why I put up with him. He's always running around with
other girls, next thing you know he'll be running around with Miroku! *Miroku sneezes from
inside a hut* Urgh, well I might as well gather these
herbs and return to the village and care for the others; Inu
Yasha, on the other hand can lick his own wounds! How
jealous can someone get??? It's not like I was actually going to give Koga
head!

Inu Yasha:

Hmph who cares about that stupid girl
anyways, maybe I should just GIVE her to Koga. She seems to like him better
anyways. Well, looks like I'll bandage myself today, I don't want to get
anywhere near Kagome anyways. Who needs her?? Besides, Kikyo
is much cuter…even though her body is now made of dirt and leaves…*trails off*
Well, I think that's hot…meh…at least it's better
than Kagome!

Narrator:

Inu Yasha was
bandaging his wounds by the stream when Kagome passed by. He was concentrating
so hard that he didn't see her, but she saw him. She decided to watch him and
see if he could manage without her.

At least 2 hours later...

Kagome had fallen asleep and Inu Yasha was gone when she woken up. She decided that she
might as well return to the village since he obviously hadn't needed her help.
As she approached she could hear laughter coming from the streets. 'What is so
funny?'; she wondered. Her curiosity drove her home quickly. When she
reached the village people stared as she passed by, pointed, and giggled. One
elderly man actually approached her and asked, "Did you and the half-n
gn
get in another fight?". Kagome was appalled by the fact that the villagers
knew what was going on in her relationship with Inu Yasha. She trudged by them, pretending to not notice a thing,
and went through the village towards Kikyo's sister's
hut. (A/N: Someone tell me her name!!)
gomegome:

That Shippo is going to pay for telling
people what's going with Inu Yasha
and me. I bet he's making those drawing of his again! Last time Inu Yasha almost shit Frisbees
when he heard people thought we were lovers. Jeez I can hear Inu Yasha swearing again in the
hut from here! But the others are laughing…hmm I wonder what at.

Narrator:

Kagome enters the hut only to see Inu Yasha wraped in random leaves and
paper from head to toes with only his fingers showing and two holes for his
eyes. *She falls over*

After taking time to recover, Kagome asks Shippo
what happened to Inu Yasha,
considering the fact that Inu Yasha
himself couldn't respond.

"Well you see he couldn't bandage himself so I did it. He's so
stubborn, if he'd had just apologized to you, said he was jealous of Koga, and
told you that he loved you..."

Hearing this, Inu Yasha
makes threatening noises and starts hopping towards Shippo.
Shippo squeals and hides behind Kagome.

"SIT BOY!...Sorry Shippo
keep going," Kagome spoke kindly putting a hand on the young fox's
shoulder, to calm him.

"Well as I was saying *Glares at a fallen Inu
Yasha* I tried to help so I found some stuff that
looks like your herbs and put it on him and then wrapped him in paper. He had
to let me do it, he couldn't move with his injuries, that'll teach him to fight
people stronger than him! *Inu Yasha
makes another angry noisem thm the floor, but Shippo
kicks him in order to silence him.* Pretty nice work huh?"

Kagome:

Shippo is so proud of himself I just
can't tell him he's probably making Inu Yasha worse with his help. Besides, that stupid Inu Yasha deserves it, in fact he deserves even more!

"Shippo, you've done such a good job
that from now on I'm putting you in charge of healing Inu
Yasha's wounds! In fact, why don't re-bandage him
right now?"

Narrator:

Shippo squeals with delight and Inu Yasha begins to cry. Kagome
laughs evily, "Bwahahaha!
Well Shippo I see you have it under control. I'll go
help Miroku and Sango."
Kagome walks on top of Inu Yasha
to get to the door and goes outside to serach out her
wounded comrads. Shippo
dances around a depressed Inu Yasha
who can't move off the ground, most likely because of the paper bandaging.

A/N: Or could it be because he doesn't want the others to see him
cry??

A/N: My friend who I was writing this with took to long to do her
part so now I'm doing it alone. If you haven't laughed yet, I'm sorry I'll try
to get better! Anyways back to MY non-skitzo story!

Random voice: No, no, no...it's MY story!

Me again: Damn you, I told you to stay in the back of my head....go
back in your cage! (whip cracks)...sorry
