Obedience

Sorry, but not now nor ever will I own Inuyasha or make any green from it. I do however own the plot of this story and my original characters, Tyrinn, Sanoi, and Yanakin Laterz (: :)


Sanoi looked up as her youkai lord entered the room. She smiled down at her infant pups and cradled them closer. "My children." She murmered. She kissed the boy's nose and then his twin sister's. "My little Inuyasha...Tyrinn."
"We cannot raise two as my heirs Sanoi. The boy shall stay in your care, but I will take the female to a youkai village to be raised."
"No my lord please?! You cannot abandon our daughter. Why must she leave? I can raise her along with her brother in my willage. We will be fine!"
Lord Taisha shook his head. "Females are thought to be weak among dog demons, and a female hanyou is even worse. If she is allowed to live with you where I cannot protect her properly, she will die from any number of youkai. I'm sorry my love but she will be safer far away from here with a friend of mine. He is a wolf youkai by the name of Yanakin. He will protect her."
Lord Taisha kissed his mate's forehead as he picked up his daughter. The cry from his human mate rang in his ears long after he had left the hut.

"Lord Taisha it is good to see you." The inu youkai embraced his friend then drew back and pulled the shivering bundle from his robes. "Her name is Tyrinn, Yanakin. I need a safe place for her. She won't survive on my lands for I cannot stay with my mate. She is human and I cannot be with her. I need your help my friend."
Yanakin took the infant from his friend and nodded. "Of course my friend. It would be an honor. I will raise her as if she were my own."
"Yana? What're you doin?" Yanakin looked down at the five year old wolf youkai.
Yanakin bent down and showed the boy the infant pup.
"She's got fuzzy ears Yana. What is she?"
"She is a hanyou Prince Koga. I am going to raise her." He smiled at the young prince as Koga ran a clawed finger over her small nose. "I can protect her too Yana." The boy puffed out his chest and drew his shoulders back to look tough.
"Of course Koga. You may protect her too. But you must promise me that you will always protect her from anything that wants to hurt her. My new daughter will need a keeper. She'll also need someone to train her when she is older. Can you promise me this Koga? That you can do this?"
The pup bit his bottom lip and peered in at the infant again, then looked up at Yana.
"I promise."
