“Happy birth day Kagome!” Souta said as Kagome walked in the front door.
“Thank you, Souta. So where is mom and grand father?”
“In the living room with your presents.”
They walked in to the living room and were greeted with streamers party whistles and hugs.
“Happy birth day baby!”
Kagome sat and began to open her presents, she received a light blue kimono from her three best friends (names please), a miko’s outfit from her grandfather, a cook book from her mother, and her brother handed her a long red velvet rope…. “Follow it sis.” Souta encouraged.
Kagome followed the rope winding it up as she went, through the dining room, down the hall up the back stairs through Souta’s bed room back in to the hall and in to her bed room.
“Wonder what he got me.”
She slowly opened her bedroom door… a huge white dog was laying on her bed… and when I say huge I mean huge, Kagome had a queen sized canopy bed and the dog covered most of the bed.
“Oh my god! Souta it is so beautiful!” Kagome exclaimed hugging the huge dog.
“Does it have a name? Is it a boy or a girl?” Kagome questioned.
“The guy I bought him from did not give me a name or say if it was a boy or girl… he did laugh a lot n try to tease the poor dog… you would a thought that he believed the dog could understand him. And he had the weirdest name Inu Yasha… who ever heard of naming their kid that!” Souta said before returning to the party.
“Ok so first things first are you a girl or boy? Down… come on get off my bed.” she said pointing to her lavender carpet.
The dog gracefully descended from the bed and stood before Kagome, his head almost level to her own.
“So umm, before I can name you I need to know if you are a boy or girl….” She said petting its back, she blushed at what she was about to do…. She bent down and looked under the dog… she rubbed along the dogs belly until she came to the very large dogs, very large man hood.
“Defiantly a boy… couldn’t tell with all that hair.” Kagome blushed.
“Do you have a collar?” she searched his neck and came up with a thick black band that read “Sesshy”
“We’ll get you a collar today… I wouldn’t want you wearing that thing.” Kagome said rubbing the dogs head.
“Come boy, lets go to the pet store.”
